((Need an RPer for Montana and the Dakotas, each seperately.))
In an attempt to gain a strong foothold on Earth, Green Sun is spreading its influence from Nevada to Montana and teh Dakotas. Green Sun promises to unite the two states into 'One Dakota' since there's really no need for two, unless popular demand yells for otherwise. We are not going to invade, there is no reason to do so. Green Sun asks for their reply ASAP.

OOC- Lol, being a North Dakotan myself I felt I... needed to post? Anyways, no! Never put ND and SD together. North and South Dakota should remain seperate because South Dakotans are evil little conniving bastards... Well, you can unite them, but put the capital in North Dakota. At least you don't plan on uniting ND, SD, and Minnesota together, because Minnesotans are even worse... Stupid stump jumpers.

Green Sun did not call Montana a stump jumper. However that does seem like the next olympic sport and they're considering replacing the Green Sun Olympic's hurdles hith large stumps. Let's see them jump THAT.

Green Sun wishes for the states of Montana and the Dakotas to reply to our request. Green Sun is a large nation, and Nevada hardly has all the land and resources we reqire to support our peoples. If you allow us to spread out on your mostly-vacant land, Green Sun is sure to keep all of our territories safe and comfortable.

In response to Green Sun's request for a peaceful annexation, Governor John Hoeven issued this proclamation with the support of the North Dakota Legislature:

"The State of North Dakota will not crumble to the demands of Green Sun. We are safe and protected as it is. We will not allow your nation to spread its urbanization, its people, its beliefs, and anything else into this great state of ours. As of now, I have taken it upon myself, with support from the House and Senate, to mobilize the North Dakota National Guard and Air National Guard to defend this state in the event of a foreign invasion."


Across the state, North Dakota National Guard units began mobilizing, air defense groups based in Pembina, Cavalier, and Grand Forks began moving towards the capital, Bismarck, while Wahpeton, Lisbon, Lidgerwood, Valley City and Enderlin based National Guard units will garrison Fargo. Air Force personnel at Emerado, at Grand Forks Air Force Base, will re-mobilize to defend the base, and Grand Forks in conjunction with Devil's Lake based forces, especially artillery groups stationed at Camp Grafton, on the shores of Devil's Lake.

Minot Air Force base, with her B-52 Stratofortresses, nuclear munitions, security personnel, emergency medical group, and conventional weapons will prepare to defend the area and potentially enact a counterstrike if it ever comes to it.

The 119th Air National Guard fighter wing, based at Hector International Airport in Fargo, will prepare to defend the skies, in conjunction with a number of aircraft based at Minot and Grand Forks Air Force bases. Prop-driven aircraft, including a number of P-51D Mustangs with a reenactment group in Fargo, will convert to active weaponry to aide in defense, primarily as close air support aircraft.

Bismarck, Dickinson, Williston, and Mandan based National Guard units will defend the western portion of the state, along with armed citizens...




OOC- I'm basing it off the current North Dakota, as if it were still a state: hence the Air National Guard, governor, etc. Well, as a recently seceded or something state which took over the former US assets in the state.

"It's a shame that North Dakota has refused our offer. It saddens us even more that you are mobilizing your forces to prepare. If North Dakota launches any military aircraft, we'll have to shoot it down. However, talks will continue to discuss a peaceful annexation."

In the search for a peaceful solution the govenor of Montana is willing to give the land confined in the counties of Lewis and Clarke, Missoula, Beaver Head, Madison, Deer Lodge, Callatin, and Jefferson. We hope this will be enough territory to sate your hunger and while we are still willing to negotiate we are hesitant to give away any more land. We hope this will put a halt to all hostile actions against our state in the future.

The Montana National Guard is mobalising now, ready to enforce the proposed border and close off all travel to the Dakotas.

Green Sun graciously thanks Montana for their donation. We would also liek fort tehir governor to know that we are not doing this in conquest or expansion, but to unify. We hope that Montana will agree to a full annexation in teh near fufture, and in return to the Governor, President Uziel will allow him to stay in power over Montana.

Green Sun asks North Dakota again to peacefully be annexed, and fully annexed. We will also do it on your terms, if we see them fit.
