British Empire Declares War

As the national anthem played over countless tellevision sets and radios His Majesty King George appeared on the screen, his face filled with regret and sadness on the bleak March morning. Clasping his hands, as a small gesture of unity His Majesty looked deeply into the camera.

"My loyal subjects, of the United Kingdom and the British Empire, today it is my sad duty, to alert the nation, and the world of the increasing diplomatic trials that have been facing our nation in regards to the Republic of Taiwanese Islands. Two days ago, the republic demanded, that we the British people, who have formed our own laws and regulations repeal the animated censorship act, I can tell you now, that Parliment has done no such thing, and we will never bow down to the demands of a culturaly peverse nation such as the Taiwanese.

The world knows that today I am at the head of the strongest Army in the world, the most gigantic Air Force and of a proud Navy. Behind and around me stands the Empire with which I became great and which has become great through me. The enemies I see before me are just the same enemies as twenty years ago, but the path along which I look forward cannot be compared with that on which I look back. The British people recognizes the decisive hour of its existence millions of soldiers do their duty, millions of British peasants and workers, women and girls, produce bread for the home country and arms for the military. We are allied with strong peoples, who in the same need are faced with the same enemies.

You, my fellow countrymen, know my unalterable determination to carry a fight once begun to its successful conclusion. You know my determination in such a struggle to be deterred by nothing, to break every resistance which must be broken. In September 2002 I assured you that neither force nor arms nor time would overcome the British Empire. I will assure my enemies that neither force of arms nor time nor any internal doubts, can make us waver in the performance of our duty. Immaterial under what camouflage he tries to disturb this British Front, to undermine the resistance of our people, to weaken the authority of the regime, to sabotage the achievements of the Home Front, he shall die for it! But with the difference that this sacrifice brings the highest honour to the soldier at the Front, whereas the other dies dishonoured and disgraced.

Therefore, my loyal subjects, I have no choice, but to declare war on the Republic of Taiwanese Isalnds."

Our enemies must not deceive themselves-in the two thousand years of British history known to us, our people have never been more united than today. The Lord of the Universe has treated us so well in the past years that we bow in gratitude to a providence which has allowed us to be members of such a great nation. We thank Him that we also can be entered with honour into the ever-lasting book of British history!

For long days and long nights we have wondered when the agressive and unlawful expansion of Taiwanese Islands would alert a power far beyond its strength. It is time for that nation to be broken and destroyed beyond all meaning for that is what Taiwanese Islands deserves.

We would have done a deed like this long ago, but the foul nation which you are attacking was stronger than us. We would have thrown them to the places where they belonged, sending decrees and forcing other nations to do their bidding. They were going too far, yet they were stronger than us.

I would like to say that the Grand Democratic Duchy of Yafor 2 is supporting the British Empire in this declaration. We will do all we can, for freedom and justice.

Aust applads the actions of the British Emire in this matter and supports them in there quest to defeat Taiwanese Islands, we are sure that you can crush them, but to decrease the loss of British life then we offer to aid you in this matter.

Should our offer of assistance be accepted I can promise that at least 2 legions, and 1 air wing will be sent to your aid. I shall provide my own transports but if you could lend us a navel detachment for protection it would be much appreshiated.

The entire nation was stunned by the declaration of open hostility from the British Empire. Everyone went about frantically, shouting for friends and familiy to come watch the news channels replay the footage over and over again.

Within the Royal Palace, those who knew about it were also shocked to hear that the British Empire had actually declared war first. However, the three monarchs quickly calmed themselves down, and Princess Ingrid soon prepared a speech for broadcasting to the entire nations.

At exactly noon, every television set everywhere in the Scandanavian Commonwealth were tuned in to the Royal News Agency, where Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid of Norway appeared on stage elegantly and began to talk of

"Our loyal subjects, honourable peers, friends, and citizens of the Commonwealth, today We address the nation on the single gravest national threat Scandanavia has faced ever since the rise of Nazi aggression during WWII....

"As many of you have heard, the Birtish Empire has declared war upon our beloved nation..... They do so because Scandanavia has spoken out against their atrocities, their despicable laws..... They do so because of what Scandanavia stands for, the ideals of freedom and liberty to all.....

"For those of you who does not know, two days ago We instructed the government to issue a protest to a recent law of the British Empire..... That is, their ban on anime, and the prosecution of tens of thousands artists in Japan.....

"Anime is a great, versatile form of art. Through anime thousands expressed their brilliant, creative minds and philosophies, and in anime millions have sought refuge, finding it a safe haven and an inspiring maze...... There is no evidence supporting the Birtish Empire's disgustingly false accusation that anime is immoral..... With that, Princess Ingrid gracefully exited, and left a people restored with confidence, eager to support the government's war against oppression. Forces across Norway, Sweden and the overseas dependency of Laos were quickly mobilized, factories converted, reserves called up and recruits registered as the nation moved towards total war.

Fort William Scotland – Imperial Command

Sir Monty strode into the command room, holding a cup of tea in hand. “Well gentleman, it appears that our most beloved monarch has gotten us into another war.”

“Yes quite Monty, it leaves the entire situation in a bother, I was hoping for two weeks in the colonies, you know a bit of relaxation, some sun, maybe a spot of hunting, but duty calls.”

“Indeed, well what’s our plan so far, tactical analysis?”

“Obviously Monty, the Empire is far superior in numbers and allies, the enemies recent census only puts their population at about five to six hundred million, nothing to be overly concerned about. They have also made the unfortunate and rather foolish decision of dividing their forces between the Pacific and Europe, granted we have done the same, but our position is far sounder. We can march the Chinese army into Laos at any time.”

“Hmm, don’t know about that old chap, jungle warfare and the like, His Majesty does not want a lot of casualties, he’s wanting to keep his current Prime Minister, what with the election coming up.”

“Well, we could ascertain air superiority, and just bomb them into the inferno?”

“I’m afraid that will have to do until we can gain naval superiority.”

“And what of His Majesty, what outcome does he demand?”

“Well, a memo from the Palace, just states that their current government is to be mounted on the hunting lodges wall, he’s left the war as a complete blank canvas.”

“Media coverage?”

“Will be controlled, the BBC is terrified that we’ll stop the licence fee, they will play ball.”

“Internet?”

“Ahh, that’s where the new anti-terror laws come into grand effect, outside internet is to be shut down, we can’t have the public getting wind of the true situation of any war, unless its going well of course.”

“Resources?”

“We have been given the green light to use half the Atlantic fleet and all of the Pacific, I believe his majesties words were “Wipe them all out, this is Genocide not war.”

“Not very sporting though Monty.”

“Well, that’s what happens in war old chap, by jove, I think it’s almost tea time.”

“Ahh well, we can get back to this dastardly business after tea.”

“Quite so old chap, quite so.”

As the two generals left the command room the grand screen on the wall showed hundreds of blinking dots. Every so often they jumped, becoming ever nearer to the enemies coastline.

China/Japan

As the pacific sun fell below the horizon, the Empires Royal Air Force began to ready itself. Hundreds of bombers and fighters were prepared, ready for launch into enemy territory. Deeds of the enemy had been aired on television for two days now, horrific stories of torture, cannibalism, and other unspeakable atrocities were being spread over the Empire, with billions seeking revenge for humanity.

The Royal Navy too had set sail from harbour, over twenty carrier division in the first strike force had been ordered stop all trade heading to Laos. Vietnam had been given strict orders not to allow any trade, and as the Empire rose to anger thousands would begin to starve. As King George paced in Buckingham Palace, his air force took to the skies to wreak swift justice on Laos, the first victim would be the city of Buri.

Atlantic

The Imperial fleets now massing were scything through the North sea, thousands of planes, warships and the awe inspiring presence of the HMS Hood dominated British territorial waters, which had now extended to the entire North sea. No offensive action would be taken in Europe yet, not until the hammer had fallen in Laos.

Broadcast by His Majesty King George

"I am gratified and most humbled by the support from the international community. I recognise that this war has ramifications for the whole world, I recognise that indeed, this has ramifications for the human race. The corrupt, and truly despicable government of Taiwanese Islands, has been allowed for too long to insult our great civilisation, for too long have their people lived in pain and misery, we, the forefront of the civilised world, will carry the burning torch of justice where darkness has prevailed. I welcome the support of the Empire of Aust in our great campaign, I also warn the foolish republic of Yafor 2, to tread carefully lest the Empire fall upon you in all our power and might."

Official Statement from the Grand Imperium of Risban

The Risban Empire fully supports the British Empire in this declaration of war on the hostile nation of the Taiwanese Islands. We have encountered hostilities with them in the past. Thus, Risban will offer funding and troops to this mission if it is needed. Our navy, while no where near as powerful as that of the mighty British Empire, is a substantial force to be reckoned with.
Should you need our help, we will send it.

Kaiser Rüdolf had been sent a Video recording of what the British Empire had to say about the Taiwanese. With forces amassing in Helsinki, Finland, to prepare defences against the Taiwanese, the Kaiser thought it was fit to get involved with the British Empire's actions. He wrote a letter that would be sent to the leader of the Britsh Empire.

Not so long ago, my nation sat out on a fine expedition to annex parts of Finland. Finland, being a neutral nation with out no real government ( OOC: Real Government = NS Player ). As we declared this, we were responded by the Taiwanese in a quite hostile way. They apparently want all of Finland, and we only want the Southern Coast. So we tried to talk to them, but its to apparent that they are still going to try to take as much of Finland before we can get a strong foothold. We do not know there full intentions, so we have not declared war. We accepted the fact that they want to possess a perfect scandinavian world under there control. We tried to inform them that we want atleast the southern coast. So, if things get heated between us and the Taiwanese, well lets hope they don't, we will be in full support of you. I will be sending another Telegram in the near future if we decide to enter on your side or to stay neutral.

Statement from The Kingdom of The Champion:

Although The Champion is a small nation at the moment, it will support the British Empire in any way possible.

Palpatine smiled as he recived the reply from King George. Turning to his brother, who he had summoned several minuates ago, he smiled and spoke softly. "Unleash the legions, I want another coloney at least."

William nodded and strode out of the throne room, making for the War Room at the palaces base. He looked at the forces that where currently avalable to Aust, knowing full well that he had one taskforce and fleet on high alert which where rady to go immidetly.

He looked at the 7 Austian Task forces around the world and decided on which to send He would send the 1st, and 4th task force to attack Laos supported by the 4th and 5th fleets. The 7th and 8th Air wings(Fighter) would join themalong with the 20th (bomber) wing.

He also ordered 50 ASS Deaths head to join the attack group and 1 full legion of ASS. (the 19th) With this done he worked out how soon his forces could be mobalised. From the Austian Millitary base in Australlier he could have ASS Deaths Head opritives inside the country within 24 hours, supported by the 19th 24 hours later.

The main Austian force, the fleet and landign craft would take 48 hours to fully mobalise and set off, though the 1st could be away immidetly. He decided to wait and to attack once all the legions and fleets where together.

He ordered the 7th, 8th and 20th to attack immidetly, refuling in Australlia.

That done he turned to the matter of the Austian forces in the mediterianian, the fortress Island of Barillias and Scili Austini was not yet strong enough to attack, though he ordered the 3rd task force and the 7th Airwing to join the Austian forces there.

The Empire sets its entire weight behind the British and will continue to do so in the future. The Empire also wishes to wish the British the best of luck and although our glorious armed forces are already facing the Taiwanese in Holland we will allow the British access to all our naval reserve depots and bases.

To the Taiwanese we say; give up, lay down your weapons in Holland and your armed forces will be allowed to leave unharmed, resist and you will all perish.

The Imperial Senate & The Imperial Council.

The night one, and just as well for the Enermy as there was less chance of the Austian bombers being accurate. Thousand upon thousand of fighters and bombers sweapt through the sky, over 1,500 Austian planes, 1,000 fighters, all the latest version of the Hound' type and 500 bombers made there way towards Lagos, and the capital in particular.

This entire raid would be aimed at the capital and thousands of bombs would be dropped.

First the High Explosive bombs would fall, blasting buildings and shelters appart, in a rain of rightous fiury, coupled with the remaining missiles from the hounds.

Then the second wave of bombers would hit, dropping firebombs upon the ruined city, there was a strong wind that would carry the fire and the destroyed buildings would show there dry timbers. The Capital would burn tonight.

As the bombs began falling, the emporer sent a message to the enermy leaders.

Sir, it is with great regrets that I ordered the assult upon your city, and I know that you shall wish for no further bloodshed to be envisiged upon your nation at this time, thus I ask you to surrender Laos to my forces, if you do not the I warn you that I have forces withing 24 hours of your coastlines and I shall orders that at least one city shall burn like the first every night.

I hope you shall be sensable in your choice.

The Emporer groups together his personal belongings as he walks toward the Grand Hall of the Captial Building. As he prepares to enter the hall, he is flanked by 10 personal security guards. They escort him the remaining 200 feet toward the door.

The Emporer makes his enterance and walks to the podium in the center of the stage. Behind him is the Imperial Seal of the Holy Empire of Shazbotdom.

"My Fellow Shazbotdonians, and viewers around the world. I am hearby declaring that all vessels in and around Europe that are currently engauged in hostilities with the Nazi Regimes in Europe are to be recalled. We are not declaring defeat, we are stating that the current nations in the region can handle the Nazi scum from now on. We regret that we were not able to help those nations that much, as we did not reach the region in time to do some major help.

We are though decreeing that our forces will be redeployed to the Asian Theater where the Taiwanese Islands are attacking the Brittish Empires Colonies due to their King's Ban on Anime. The 1st through 5th Fleets are to be deployed near the Brittish Empire's holdings to help defend them. They will, if needed, launch Super-Sonic Cruise Missiles to military targets within the Taiwanese Islands to help weaken the defences of that nation for the Brittish. This will only be a Naval Exercise till i decide to bring the newly formed Marines into this conflict.

I ask that the families of the Naval Officers that are being redeployed say a prayer for their loved ones as they take on the SCUM that threatens the national soverignty of the Brittish Empire. Thank you for your time, and God Bless."

The Emporer then walks off the stage and back out the door he came in from.
