Due to the success of the Crusader Space Stations and because of Grand Admiral Alabars insistent requests of the Emperor a new and gigantic space station is to be constructed. Since the completion of the Mais System Installation, three entire moons converted to ship factories, it has been chosen as the site for its construction. It has been given the name Epion(Ep-e-on). It is to become the headquarters of the Thrashian Fleet.

The Epion itself will be the size of some moons, with a crew numbering in the millions. Thanks to the thirty year old clone program, all fighter pilots and gunners for the defenses will be clones. However a large compliment of Fleet personnel is still needed. The project is projected to take no longer than two years of heavy construction by clones, droids, and by the hard working work force of Thrashian citizens.

Besides having the most advanced in sensory arrays and equipment, the Epion will also be the location for the second MAGI super computer system which has already been installed aboard Admiral Alabar’s flagship. With the MAGI system the Epion will be in constant contact with the Thrashian Fleets.

The inspiration for the project began several years ago when young Janna Maxim was taken to the movies by her father for the movie Star Wars. Such was her impression by it that she became the best space/weapons engineer in all Thrashian history, surpassing even her father. However the Epion has no idiotic super laser. This being because it in itself is not a weapon, merely a larger than normal space station, meant to be the headquarters of the Thrashian Fleet.

The funding for this project has been provided by a Swiss bank account established by Emperor Shaduam III over 70 years before. The account, which held estimated trillions, has since grown larger with Emperor Shadaum IV taking all proceeds from the Ship Export Program and putting it into this account. The estimated cost at this moment is 2,000,876,500,000 credits. Already 2,000,000,000,00 has been set aside by the Emperor from his bank account (most likely nearly draining it) and gaining the rest by cutting the road building program in the Thrashian country side and taxes, as well as from raising the tariffs on Thrashia’s large auto industry exports.

Admiral Alabar has ordered Thrashia’s first three Fleets to oversee the construction of the Epion. From his flagship the Corsica, he will be able to give daily reports to the Emperor Shadaum.

The Epion is able to move through space, however due to its size it can move at only the barest minimum of speeds. What would normaly take a Shadaum-class one crusier several hours of travel, it would take several days for the Epion.

And I operate a 500 kilometer long Super Star Destroyer, so size tisn't totally impressive to moi. =^^= No offense... ))

OOC: I might mention that your population/economy cant possiblely have such a big ship...your economy would collapse or you wouldn't have any other military ships...one ship...isn't very big compared to my armada of smaller ships which can number in the hundreds(about 700-900). I might offer you the advice of using smaller ships with smaller crews but with weapons to make them affective.

We'd be interested to build a chain of our fine dining resturants on board the ship, as well as movie theatures, shopping malls, and other general facilities to provide the crew with an increase in morale. We can even make synthetic parks and animals to give the station a healthy environment. To give you a taste of our architectural prowess, we've even at one point created an artificial beach and sea aboard a space station for tourism purposes. If you'd like, we could add that to your station as well, but for some reason we have the feeling that you'd like to stick to something a bit smaller than that.

The fast food will range from your standard hamburger joints to seafood, fried chicken, tacos, and synthetic yeast-based food ((OOC: See I, Robot the book.)), and will only require employees at the cash register for the consumer's sake, as production of food will be fully automated. We find people generally trust food more when they order it from other people, otherwise we'd automate the ordering process too.
As for the Officer's Club, we're thinking of a classical Greco-Roman theme, complete with marble statues, decorative shallow pools and collumns, assorted flora, and a gigantic tempured Carbon-60 superdiamond window opening up to a view of the space outside. The staff of this resturant will be entirely human, although machines will play a small part (monitoring burner heat, etc). We'll be sending one of our own experienced chefs on his own request up to train your people, and serve as the head chef of the resturant until he sees it fit to leave.

Also, we will be sending up a mechanic on very much the same deal as the chef. She'll train your people to maintian the Resian robotics and assorted systems, then leave after a bit of observation.

We assume your people in the fast food service can figure out how to operate a cash register on their own.

But in return for finances I would be willing to have a several small stations (compared to the Epion) to be built at a future point in orbit around Planet Thrashia. Perhaps this would sufice?

The Epion Space Station Epion is now complete. Test runs of its operating systems are underway and Admiral Alabar has begun transfering his staff and Fleet for operations around the new Fleet HQ.
