Onward to Asia: RB Launches Incursions into Myanmar and East Timor (Earth RB)

Unlike the African countries- which had toppled like dominoes, with very little effort- Myanmar would prove far more difficult to control. Though poor, it was governed by a military regime, and the scope and strength of its military were top-notch. East Timor, on the other hand, was quite possibly the world's poorest and most backward nation; conquering it would be almost frighteningly simple. The RB coalition decided to launch both incursions simultaneously; 125,000 Roach-Busterians, 50,000 Liberians, and 260,000 Filipinos would invade East Timor, and 300,000 Roach-Busterians, 7,500,000 Thai, 430,000 Filipinos, 25,000 Nicaraguans, 20,000 Cote d'Ivoireans, 30,000 Ghanans, and 15,000 Sierra Leonens would invade Myanmar, backed up by over 40 battleships, with nearly 4,000 jets and over 5,000 helicopters providing air support.
The game was afoot.

Battleships sailed up and down along the coast of the Myanmar peninsula, bombarding it with heavy artillery, as cannons blasted at Myanmar from across the Thai border. In the harbor, hundreds of passenger ships pulled in, and millions of troops disembarked, running amok chanting the RB national anthem while firing tranquilizer darts indiscriminately in every direction. Helicopters sprayed knock-out gas in every direction. Jets strafed, bombed, rocketed, and dismantled military bases, factories, power plants, communications facilities, and other strategic areas from the air. Of course, they met heavy resistance. Hundreds of thousands- perhaps millions- of enemy soldiers charged into the invaders, hacking and slashing with machetes, and shooting ceaselessly and mercilessly with machine-guns. Myanmar helicopters napalmed the invading troops, as their jets and RB jets engaged in spectacular dogfights in the air. Thousands more Thai troops charged across the Myanmar-Thai border, firing at will. Blood flew everywhere, as the entire country became a killing field.

Antiaircraft artillery pounded away at the jets and helicopters which were strafing the cities, causing them to burst into flames, as fiery debris hammered the hapless, screaming civilians. Realizing that lethal force was the only way to go from here, the RB soldiers brought out the heavy artillery. Tanks rolled across the border and blasted Burmese soldiers to smithereens, drenching the foliage in sticky gore. Missiles soared, grenades were lobbed, bullets whizzed and darted about, and high-pitched screams of fear, confusion, anger, and sorrow echoed in the dark night. Thick smoke immersed the sky, distorting everything above them almost to the point of invisibility. Thousands of bloody corpses from both sides lay everywhere, as mutilated, wounded men wallowed in their own blood. The malodorous stench of death and decay lingered in the air.

Thousands perished, devoured in a rapidly spreading sea of flames, that crackled and scorched all it beheld. Buildings, bombarded by explosives and artillery, unable to withstand the stress, crumbled to dust, burying hundreds alive. RB troops used garden hoses to spray gasoline everywhere, dousing the Burmese soldiers from head-to-toe; when the jets delivered their next round of napalm, the soldiers fried to a crisp, their burnt bodies crumpling apart in a heap of smoky, smoldering ashes.

The ground was soaked in blood. By the millions, bullets darted about, shattering windows, spraying blood, and wreaking utter havoc. The entire city of Yangon was afflicted; literally every street erupted in combat. Civilians and soldiers fought to death, as RB and Burmese soldiers engaged in bloody and brutal street fights, tearing each under asunder with endless streams of bullets.

The battleships sailed north, to Yangon, to provide much-needed back-up. They blasted away at the city, leveling entire buildings and liquidating thousands.

More helicopters and jets flew overhead, bombing every street. Unfortunately, Burmese antiaircraft guns successfully downed many of the aircraft. Many of the aircraft, upon being hit, spiraled out of control, crashed into the streets, and generated huge explosions which inflicted dozens of casualties.
Seventeen hours later, the battle still raged on, with millions of civilians dead, and hundreds of thousands of soldiers dead on both sides...

37 days later, nearly 9/10s of the invaders were dead, wounded, or captured. The Myanmar military ceased to exist. Myanmar was now an RB territory.

OOC: Please, stop. The restrictions that are going to be placed upon you by the Four Occupying Powers will mean that this will be overturned. Your government has restored sovereignty, but it can't do what it likes.
