Old Age Thinking Returns
The Commonwealth of Jagada, is a collection of various tribes who, centuries ago, were united by a man name Jagada, or better known as 'Lord Jagada'. He was a very powerful man, he left the tribal lands during the Tribal Wars and brought back with him a new religion, a true religion, Chirstainity. The religion spread across Jagada like a wildfire, and it further increased the bond between the tribes. Though, threw circumstances, Lord Jagada was forced to unify the tribes after the 3rd Imperial Wars. His conquest of the tribes was swift and was called the Unification War. It was after the Unification War that Jagada, offically called the united tribes the 'Unified Peoples', after his death however and threw a series of revolts the name was changed to 'The Commonwealth of Jagada'.
The Commonwealth had always been centered around the religion of Christianity and the principles it sponsered. The Commonwealth still permitted other religions such as Islam, Bhuddism, and a number of other religions.
It was only in the recent years that the Commonwealth began to see cracks in its society. Rumors of an underground society known a the 'Tribes' began to spread to even the highest ranking members of both Jagada' religious and political orders. This group, from the rumors, appearntly believed that the Commonwealth had failed, that its embracing the ideals of Christianity was the biggest mistake it had made, they advocated a more Liberal form of government, one who seeked change at all costs, even violence. This group was, at first, simply an assembly of people, and by the laws set in placed in the Commonwealth, the government could not interfer in peaceful assembly.
Violence began to increase in Jagada, it started simply as a few arsoning of churchs and mosques in Jagada. No one took notice of this, there had always been tension between Christians and Muslims and occasionally small outbreaks of violence occured, which the government quickly resolved. The government and even the people began to take notice when high-ranking religious figures of Chrisitianity began to be killed. It was at this time that the government began to inspect the society of the 'Tribes'. Intelligance reports quickly came and it was known that the Tribes had at least five thousand people willing to support in, in terms of violence, and another ten thousand people were willing to support it in terms of finances. The 'Tribes' became the government's top suspect in the killings, with both the personel and the finances required to carrying out their operations. Thus the government began a crackdown on the 'Tribes', trying to dismantle their group. This provoked more violence, and now even religious leaders of Islam were being killed, along with some arsoning of Bhuddist Temples. These operations by the Tribes began to unite the various religiously divided peoples together.
This violence soon degraded into a revolt. In the city of Honderta, a city that is known for being the homebase for several radical religious groups throughout the years, violence broke out. The Tribes has strong influences in the city, and manage to violently take control of it and force the police forces out of the city.
Despite having siezed the city, the Tribes knew that their five thousand man militia would be overwhelmed by the Jagadian Army. They needed more allies. Thus, in a most unusal turn of events, the Tribes struck an alliance with the recently banned radical religious party 'Spirituality For All'. The Spirituality Party was known for not choosing any religion and denying all religions gods, and instead telling people that they themselves were gods. While this radical party was small, it poses a great threat. Within it's ranks were nearly ten thousand people, primarily immigrants from countries who banned or frowned upon religion.
The situation still remains very sensitive, it is unclear on how the government will appoarch this matter.
