This is Cindy Lockhorne for PNN. As of 10 AM this morning, Comrade Hayden has officially resigned from office and given up the title of Premier. He stated that "I am a remnant of what little fascism remains. I was a fascist and committed crimes. I request amnesty. By doin this, I formally resign from office." End quote. He also stated that he and his family will be moving to the central Siberian wilderness to live out the remainder of their lives.

As of 1 PM, a new Premier had been elected. The Political Bureau stayed in deliberations for roughly three hours before finally electing Comrade Vladimir Ivanovich Troskin as the new Premier. Comrade Troskin was the General Secretary of The Central Soviet and CPAU. Comrade Kroskin was also, due to being Premier, elected as General Secretary of The Politburo. Upon election, Comrade Kroskin made made the following speech:

"I feel it is an honor to serve the People of The Armed Union. Too many years has fascism and state sanctioned racism inslaved my people. Too long have police state terrorism been legal. Today is the beging of a new era for the People. Today is the begining of a great enlightenment.

But before that begins, I would like to request that The Central Soviet of the Azech Communist Party (CPAU) elected Robert Pacitania as the new General Secretary. Now, I'am afraid I must depart and handle this shock with my wife: Natalia. Good day Comrades!"

In honour of the new Premier, The Central Soviet did elected Robert Pacitania as the new General Secretary. Comrade Troskin also wished to thank the international community for its support. Now, onto the Peru conflict...
