The nation of T.H.L is looking to hone it's warskills, and is asking three other nations(seperated into two sides) to partipate in an Urban War Game. The setting is a Huge, War Torn city full of sky scrapers and the like, the city extends to the suburbs. It is constantly raining and the like, thus the ground is incredbily muddy and dirty.


Who wants to play?

What number of troops ect.. are we allowed?
Also is it a last man standing, attackers vs defenders or what kind of mission.

We like to join.

A minimum of 150,000 and a maximum of 500,000 men are allowed. The objective is to capture at least 70% of the city(Each side starts with fewer then 1%)

EDIT: Although, those numbers are huge. If it was smaller, it'd be far better roleplaying. Say 1,500 - 5,000 troops tops.

Could you provide a general map of the city and do we have to just take the land or take and hold it for a period of time?
Also assuming weapons will be using non lethal ammo.
Also are we permitted tanks, armoured fighting vehicles and choppers?

Yes, tanks and APC's are fine. Choppers are okay to, but no combat jets. And I'll try to make a map of the city later.

OOC: Right-o then. I'll join, but with small numbers of elite troops instead. Tanks are pointless, ditto attack helicopters. Too much firepower in a small space. Not good.

I don't really mind who I'm with. When it comes to wargames (or most things come to think of it) I'm easy.

Actually, I'll work alone. No offence meant to anyone, but I'd rather face a little challenge here. So if its THL + Momanguise vs Theao + Tocrowkia vs Me, that's fine by me.

Very good then. I'll join up with side 2. And there's no need to worry about my "uber troopers" unbalancing the RP - I assure everyone that they'll be properly written up. An RPG, or a mortar, or a high caliber machinegun or sniper rifle, or even just shooting at the head should drop one of my people, heavy armour and all. Infact, a clever opponent might target thier fuel cells with a high power sniper rifle - the resulting explosion would probably kill not only the wearer of that exoskeleton, but probably a few of the people around them as well.

It'll be an interesting fight. Your powered exoskeleton type troops up against my own warriors wearing full body armour with only minor aid from inbuilt servo motors. Full powered suits vs lighter-weight body armour.

The Division consists of approxemetly 1,500 soldiers, all reained and equipped specificly for fighting in an urban envronment.

The Mercenary State of Nation of Fortune wishes to partake in these wargames, if for no other reason than to train the young platoons.

Our troops are equipped with no battle suits. The troops are highly trained in the use of a rifle. We have experience with land vehicles and Helicopters. Most men come equipped with an assult rifle or a sniper rifle, and a pistol side arm.
