President Werheimer Unveils Fourth Republic

Following the suppression of the recent uprising against the Party, President Werheimer has initiated the constitution of the Fourth Republic of Lasatania. The new Republic is based on the founding principles of Revolutionary Socialist and shall follow the True Path detailed by the founder of Revolutionary Socialism, Ilyich Yagarin.

The Party has pledged to lead Lasatania to international greatness, while at the same time spreading the message of Revolutionary Socialism by any means necessary. Lasatania has also pledged to defend the flame of Revolutionary Socialism wherever it may burn.

With immediate effect citizens of the New Republic now find themselves compelled by both fervour and the rule of the law to re-arm Lasatania and make the nation mighty again.

Speaking at the Hall of Martyrs, President Werheimer said that only through courage and determination could Lasatania rise from the ashes and make itself great once again. A task that he considered well within the reach of the people of the nation, guided by the Party.

To whomever it may concern,

Comrades, brothers, friends to our ground. We welcome your return to our sights, and wish you the brightest of futures. The Grand Ideocracy has ever been impressed with your vision and steel nerves, and would be interested in formalising both a trade and a military pact of allegiance which would be bound by proper convention and heraldry.

Telefax message from Lasatanian Foreign Ministry to Madam Calymath

Madam,

We express our gratitude in your swift reply to our announcement. At this moment Lasatania would be interested in the formation of a military and economic pact, though the military pact would most likely only be to the extent of a defensive treaty at this point in time.

We therefore extend an invite for representatives of your state to make a formal visit to our capital, Korova, for formal talks regarding the prospect of such a treaty being drawn up.
