Kimiko Ayasugi called Jake Featherston, as Jake was out eating some ribs.

"Jakey boy.....how are you? I see the South has risen again, things are going to plan...."

Jake then said, "Well, great.....What of Benin? I need boots on the ground there...."

Kimiko said, "Leave that to me."

-------------------

Sure enough, a team of Tokko, mainly Beninite expats and one Englishman landed in Benin, thanks to the new bases in Gambia. They landed at the airport, and began to drive into the city.

Their target was the President. They wanted to take him out, and having shipped in a supply of guns and explosives and gas via the port of Cotonou.

They lay in wait in the capital of Porto-Novo. They soon went out on their signature assault run.

They went into the Presidential Palace, disguised as matenance workers. They had lightbulbs filled with VX and a dab of explosive to release the gas. They also had heavy flashlights, to club anyobdy unconcious, and had skills in martial arts, should anything occur.

They went inside, the guards let them in, and they did their dirty work, switching the bulbs with the fake ones. They also had no hassles in doing this, unlike last time, nobody cared about these guys, they seemed like matenance.

Their job done, they walked out, and detonated the gas bulbs when they got in the car. The President and his family were then exposed to the gas, and then succumbed to its effects.

------------------

With the President dead, the country exploded into chaos. And the RALM exploited this, first sending a "Virginian Intellegence" envoy and finding a man, a General Kerekou who wanted to take power, and then parachuting a Tokko-Rikkusentai platoon and Virginian made guns into the area in excahnge for accepting a treaty aligning himself with the Virginians.

The result was a bloody, if brief coup, as Porto Novo fell in hours. Resistance still lingered in the country, as those persons who loved the old President coalesced into a guerilla army and began fighting on. But soon, Tokko mercenaries and the General's forces went to work, as the General declared his alliance with the Virginian Combine, and 300 Virginian Marines soon moved in....

------------------------

Jake Featherston, afterwards, simply said, "Excellent."

The terrorist organization that is the Real ALM knows that we have long been planning to connect Togo and Nigeria. We demand that you grant a portion of the land to Moronyicka so our troops can move from nation to nation.

Failure to comply will result in full scale military action.

SECRET IC:

We will grant a corridor, but on the condition we are paid USD$10,000,000 per year for its use and our claim to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea be recognized. We also reserve the right to monitor traffic through this corridor.

Also, we ask for safe passage of our naval units out as part of the deal, considering they have lost.

That is acceptable. We also request that you grant us access through Cameroon for our forces in Gabon, we are willing to pay the same for that.
