OOC: Due to fluid time, I'll RP invading the Guineas....anybody want to RP the resisting Army can do so. Its crappy, but I have to RP them somehow.
IC:
The Virginians and RALM men taken their initial objectives, now, they would go deeper.
The existing RALM/Virginian forces launched a massive air offensive over both Guinea and Guineas-Bissau, thanks to the huge naval presence off West Africa. TSF-28B and TSA-12B aircraft, plus Tomahawk missiles, rained upon defenses in both countries. Anti air units and vital installations in both areas were razed to little bits.
Then, the existing RALM Tokko Militia and Virginian Armed Units, some 80,000-150,000 troops, Marines and regular Army constituted as the "Africa Corps," invaded Guinea proper. The blitzkrieg was orchestrated with violent force, and despite fierce resistance, the Guinean Army was beaten back within hours.
In addition, Guinea-Bissau was invaded as well, and its army was crushed in hours. Guerilla units still existed, but they were fast scattered and pushed aside by the juggernaut.
There was still resistance in Guinea, however. But it was most likely going to fall soon.......
