Mobile, Alabama, North America...
The Fallschirmjäger had already been sent in to cross the border with Georgia. They had been designed well -- perfect for fast-strike operations with frightening efficiency and ability.
The military advisors in Alabama recommended that the Reichswehr be immediately launched to claim the land, and eliminate any militants still loyal to the collapsed government.
It was estimated that of the armed population, 30% were still loyal to the previous government. While not described by Feldmarshal Rehm as a "large and organized military force", precautions were still being taken.
A large number of Infantry Fighting Vehicles, Armoured Personnel Carriers, and a small number of tanks escorted the 7,500 soldiers of the 2nd Fallschirmjäger through the border.
In addition to this task force, a spearhead group was launched prior to their assault: 250 members of the SPK Special Ops Division were air-dropped at night into the capital city of Atlanta, where they secured the airport.
Various attack helicopters scouted the land in front of the ground troops. No losses have been reported; however, hostile encounters with small militant groups has proved that the remaining resistance is light and very unorganized.
