Various problems have begun surfacing in regard to how this country is running. At the moment, our waters are very lightly defended by a lackluster navy, all of our food is brought in via cargo ship, and we have fewer allies then a Mussolini follower. To remedy these, we will make the following changes:
First and foremost, we will begin construction on a set of seven "sea bases", which are pretty much giant platforms about 50 miles out to sea. Each base would sit on eight large pylons, but would actually float on the water, only being loosely connected to the pylons to allow movement during rough seas. Each base would contain several hundred missile launchers (both SAM and ASM), although I cannot say how many due to security concerns, and they will all be able to dock every kind of ship, from a dingy to a Nimitz class carrier. Under the waterline, there will be secret docks which would launch and retrieve submersibles. Each base could, in a pinch, house 100,000 persons (not including space aboard the boats), but usually only houses 36,000. The cost will be somewhere near $30 trillion, to be paid in increments ove the next 13 years.
Second: All our militaries will get a complete overhaul, mostly by tripling their numbers and providing new equipment, although there will be some restructuring to.
Third: To rectify the whole "all our food coming via sea" problem, we will be constructing five underground farms, each with water and air filters and artificial sunlight. Each farm would contain approximately 50,000 acres of tendable land, and if all five worked together at the same time, they could support nearly 78.0923% of the population.
Lastly, we will begin aggressively seeking alliances with such powerful nations as: Sarzonia, Hogsweat, Kriegorad, Paetonia, Santa Barbara, and the Resi Corporation, to name a few.
