Managua, Nicaragua

Governor-General Paul Remital, head of the government-in-exile, peered over the map of the African continent with a bemused look on his face. With the Generalissimo gone, and our great homeland occupied, we must regain our former glory, he thought. Though the vast majority of RB's armed forces were either incarcerated or disarmed, there were a few hundred thousand of them in Nicaragua (an RB territory), in addition to tens of thousands of members of Nicaragua's Guardia Nacional. If the calculations were correct, that would be more than enough to seize Ghana; and with Ghana under control, the military (with Ghana's own armed forces under control), would seize the Ivory Coast; and then Liberia; Sierra Leone; and finally, Mali. Henceforth, the RB African Empire would be complete. Then, RB's forces in Thailand and the Philippines would invade Myanmar; and then Iran. Finally, Nicaragua's armed forces would invade Honduras to the north, Costa Rica to the south, and the vast RB Empire would be complete. It would be time-consuming. It would cost millions of lives. But it would all be worth it.

Governor-General Remital called the RB-Nicaraguan Department of Defense to discuss the deployment...

Across the vast stretch of untamed ocean, the vessels sailed, carrying aboard the afore-listed vehicles and soldiers. Each vessel proudly waved and flaunted a flag bearing a picture of the Generalissimo, as each man chanted simultaneously, "For RB! For the Generalissimo! For God!" (or in the Thai soldiers' cases, "For RB! For the Generalissimo! For Buddha!")

Accra, Ghana

President John Kufuor gripped his desk with tense hands upon hearing the news that the Roach-Busterians were on their way. Struggling to retain his composure, he said in a shaky voice, "M-Mobilize the fleet at once. I want the entire coast blockaded, so nothing gets in. We lost our sovereignty once to the British, and we shall not lose it again!"

Soon, hundreds of SC-7 Skyvan 3Ms ascended into the air and sped off in the direction of the Pacific Ocean, to attack the impending invasion head-on. Hundreds of Ghanian soldiers distributed crudely-constructed, somewhat obsolete weapons to all males between the ages of 15 and 49. Tanks, police cars, and army vehicles drove toward the shore, where they all assembled in a long, thin line which stretched all the way down the coast, where they would make their stand.

The ill-equipped but intensely loyal and infinitely brave Ghanian soldiers, spurred on by undying patriotism, loaded their weapons, set up antiaircraft artillery and cannons, and braced themselves to begin shooting once the enemy was in range.

"Shit, I've been hit!"

Upon being struck, one of the SZ-4 'Warbird' Long-Range Strategic Bombers spiralled crazily about in the air, swerving out of control, and plunged beneath the waves of the ocean, generating a small tidal wave. However, most of the Ghanians were not as lucky; the vast majority of their shots either missed, or failed to reach their targets. The RB planes began firing missiles, decimating the forces on the coast and generating huge explosions, which doused the hapless soldiers in a sea of hot flames. Machine-gun fire pummeled and slew scores of the soldiers, as they turned around and attempted to retreat. However, many of them fought on to the death. The Ghanian planes retaliated with fire of their own, downing several RB jets, a few of which crashed into the RB ships, causing massive damage and killing hundreds- in some cases, thousands- of soldiers.

The tide was turning in RB's favor, but they would not achieve victory unscathed.

The air force decided upon a 'pincer attack;' while about half of the jets engaged the Ghanian Air Force in a dog fight, stalling them, one quarter of the jets flew toward the left and the other quarter flew toward the right; they swerved around, charging toward the Ghanians from behind, surrounding them on all sides. Within minutes, each of the planes had sunk into the ocean.

(OOC: If this seems too easy, it's because it is: check www.wikipedia.org, look up 'Ghana' and check out 'Military of Ghana,' and you'll see why this is so easy.)

The ships finally landed, and all the RB, Nicaraguan, Thai, and Filipino troops disembarked, and charged into the cities.

Everywhere they went, soldiers and police officers immediately dropped their weapons, signalling that they surrendered.

General Brooks, the commander of the operation, telephoned Ghana's President to ask if he surrendered:

"Yes."

I, President Kufuor do hereby unconditionally surrender to the government-in-exile of the Pest Control Company of Roach-Busters. The Republic of Ghana is to become a permanent but self-governing territory of the aforesaid nation. I will remain President, and Ghanians will enjoy all the liberties they did prior to the invasion. However, our military is subject to complete RB control. I do hereby give permission for RB to construct five army bases, two naval bases, and three air force bases, as well as factories for mining gold. Henceforth, on this date, March sixth, two-thousand five, in the Year of our Lord, Ghana is under the dominion of the Pest Control Company of Roach-Busters.

Signed,
President John Agyekum Kufuor ,
