OOC: I really don't have a lot of time, but since I'm assuming I won't encounter a lot of resistance in Antartica...I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.

It's a cold, baren, wasteland. Save for a few dozen ports and science facilities, and a couple thousand penguin, Antartica is almost completely bereft of life. Nothing lives there...

He didn't even get to complete the sentance before a loud, resonancing voice came forth from the ship.
"I am Baal (http://www.stargate-sg1.nu/stargate/Goa'uld/bilder/baal_004.jpg)! Your Lord and God!" the voice said, it echoed over the tundra, reflected by the many sheats of ice, "Submit to me now, or be destroyed!"
He didn't even wait for an answer.
The ship began to fire huge bursts of yellow energy at the science facility. In a matter of seconds, all that was left was a smouldering crater.
