It has come to my attention that the Left Wing of this world is failing to unite themselves once again. Several alliances have made attempts in the past, the Red Bloc Army, the Intertnationale - it lasted, but it failed. This should not happened again. United, victory could swiftly come to the side of Socialism. We must band together for protection or else we will all be destroyed one by one by the united fascist forces.

There was a time when Socialism was dominant. No rightist Nation could move for a swarm of our glorious allies would come down like moths upon a light and destroy the evil menace. However, this time is gone. Many old Communist nations that once where strong and powerful have gone into the mists of time, and few remain to combat Capitalism and Fascism.

As of this, I hereby present to you the CCSN - Coalition of Communist, Socialist Nations! The CCSN aims to defend all Socialist nations and spread the hammer and sickle, and to annihalate race discrimination and the domination of the borgouise. We must stand together comrades. We must unite to destroy Capitalism, Fascism, and anything that stands in the way of an International State. The Union of Soviet Socialist Hogsweatian Republics intends to spearhead Communism into the spotlight of the world, at the turn of 2005, once again by means of this alliance. We shall make the hammer and sickle great again.

As to this day, the CCEP- Council of Communist Elderly Powers is formed as a part of the CCSN. The nations of Hallad, Hogsweat, and Hstrovokia [omfg 3 h's!] will make up the CCEP and other nations may be part of the CCEP as time progresses. Any official alliance move must be approved by the majority of the CCEP.

"With the exception of our comrades in Hallad, the Socialist Empire of Edölia declares its opposition to this alliance and all that it is becoming. The CCSN combines national socialist fascists in Hogsweat, oppressive totalitarians in Kriegorgrad and other pseudo-socialists to create a force of destruction and evil. True socialists -those committed to peace, freedom and democracy- must stand against this alliance of dictators, petty oligarchs and corrupt warlords and redeem the tarnished name of socialism. All liberal democratic socialists with principles would do well to distance themselves from such a corrupt organization immediately. While we respect the opinion of our Edolian comrades, we do not see why you are against spreading revolution. Violence comes in a revolution, and a revolution cannot be done by a very big sit-in. Albeit, Socialism came to Hallad by evolution, rather than Revolution, but it cannot be that way for all nations.

Although, we are not completely supportive of Kriegorgrad, we will try to work with them in this alliance.

Presidential Palace, Freedom Exterminated

The room was almost tasteless, the life- sized portrait of the President 'ruling' over the room, the thick carpets, the white walls, the copies of famous drawings (Dali, Picasso, Rembrand, Giotto... There was no order in this. Modern paintings next to the distant past, all thrown together without sense or sanity, with a bit of gold thrown in between, for good measure), the flies Sule simply couldn't get rid of it, and the pistol on the desk... It looked odd to say the least.

Claude Sule was alone, 'working'. Which meant 'dozing off' with his uniform half- open. Usually. Not right now, though. For now, he sighed, looking over the more recent reports.

"The People's Front of Freedom Exterminated is threatening the Northern Mines... Not good... Not good..." He frowned. Why am I talking? I'm alone. Bah.

"Any-" way. Lesse... Oh, here. This sounds... Neat.

He hesitated. There were a few notes Nicolai Ghali had added to the document.

'The charter cannot legally force us to do anything. Simply because there is no charter. At the same time, we can suckle at their resource tits to eventually end the constant unrest in our nation. While the organisation is... Risky, given their members, as well as their constant tendency of causing international trouble, even among themselves, which we, well, don't, I guess we can at least try it.

Mind you, we will be still be dependent on their good will.'

Once more, President Sule sighed and read over the original document, again.

"Good enough." He muttered. And seeing as the economy was in trouble, the war anything but won... Well, it was an option.

Not to mention that Ghali had failed the hunt for Francis Tawonga and Serena Hazika, which wasn't exactly something Sule liked. Resistance was growing, and while it was doubtlessly not the first time... He should get to work.

He stood up, pondering, looking out of the window. Nearby, the palm trees offered cool spots in the brutal heat of the early afternoon. A few workers rested, covered in the palm tree's shadows.

A bit further away, the business districts. Of course, most of it was state- owned, alternatively, foreign ownership was possible. From nations with the means of defending their interests (Otherwise, Claude would have nationalised them) while pouring in the much needed money, anyway.

Shabby buildings, but as long as they stayed reasonably profitable... He showed a thin smile as he thought about the money currently changing its owners, over there.

In Freedom Exterminated, Corruption wasn't a problem. It was a lifestyle.

"Perhaps I should-" Argh. I really have to find a way to end this habit. Perhaps I should give it a try...

He shrugged, wondering if his secretary was giggling, again, or if she was currently busy with the doorman. In the end, he decided that he didn't care enough. Besides, Jahzara liked the antics in the house, anyway.

Even further away, he could see the real side of his nation. The shanty towns. Full of beggars, diseases, prostitution, crime and unemployment. Claude would have loved to be unable to see this part of his nation, alas, this wasn't entirely possible. It reminded him that he wanted his bureau facing seaside, though.

But then, well, if the people didn't want to see the beauty of his socialist paradise, if they were unable to grasp his genius, accepting the great plan, faithfully, then they had earned what they got.

Eventually, he sat down, writing the message.

If you're interested in more detailed negotiations or discussions regarding the future of this, that is, your, valuable alliance, I would be glad to visit Hogsweat, in order to clear up necessary businesses."

It took him until after he had sent the message to realise that he hadn't even mentioned this newest idea of his to the parliament. On the other hand, the parliament hadn't had a session since... Nine months ago.

Oh well. I think one can expect me to know the will of my people, anyway. After all, I am their lead- He stopped, amazed. "It worked! I'm not talking to myself anym- Damn."

Outside his office, he could hear Farisa, giggling.

"Doorman's busy," Huh?

The giggling stopped. He could hear the muttered reply through the door. "Yes. With Rachida."

Ghali sighed upon reading the more recent statements by various CCSN members. Not good. Absoultely not good. 'Contempt'. Wonderful. I just hope they can get their things together. Infighting would be a... Bad idea. A very bad idea.

Unlike the President, Ghali didn't talk to himself. Yet, his victim would have preferred it, o reassure her, a little, as odd as this seemed. But the silence was... Painful. Nicolai Ghali looked down at her. "You know, if your brother hadn't joined People's front of Freedom Exterminated, I wouldn't need to do this. I'm sorry."

She didn't answer, gagged as she was. Ghali just smiled, seeing her eyes, scared, flickering around, nervously. "I will give you a break once you lose consciousness."

The Northern Jungle

Francis Tawonga cursed. Finally, finally he had managed to come back from Nanakaland. A pointless trip, a needless expense, that much he knew.

But once he had been back, things had looked god. Quite good. Exceptionally good, with the mines being almost in their hands.

And now this.

He cursed, firing another burst, watching it miss. Then he cursed again. His beloved People's Front of Freedom Exterminated assaulted by Freedom Exterminated's People's Front! And worst of all, apparently, the woman leading the operation had been in Nanakaland, too. So close, so easy to take out... 'Serena Hazika'. Of course, she wasn't present. She was further back, somewhere. Leading. Organising. For now, anyway.

He cursed again. Fighting between us, leaving the bastards in Nimunde time to breath. Damnit! Another burst. He could hear one of his comrades, Shomari, screaming. He had joined them no more than three weeks ago. Dear god... His poor sister. I wonder if she will learn of this.

The Emperor of the Holy Empire of Shazbotdom has decreed the following:

1. We neither Condemn nor Condone this alliance. Even though this nation is slightly leaning left, we do have a democratic governing body set in place that looks over, then if they are good enough, enacts laws that I, the Emperor, write myself.

2. We do like the fact that a group of national leaders are trying to join together to protect themselves from warmongering nations.

3. We do have 25 Parliament Members who are Communist and they appreciate what type of government we are. We listen to them and enact certain laws that co-inside with their views.

Could I join, because I keep getting shit from nations who think I'm Socalist just because I joined a Socialist club and have Communist and socialist allies. Freedom Exterminated, Nimunde

"It's a pleasure to do business with you." President Sule forced a smile as he shaked the hand of the Hack woman, neko to be specific, Yuri Shirow. He hated dealing with those... Pigs, this hyperlibertarian... Freaks, but he couldn't change it. And more to the point, he needed their money to pay the mercenaries currently in the jungle, fighting the war. Sure, he had 'conscripts', but their combat capacities were laughable at best, and as such, he couldn't really help it.

Even though it meant sacrificing the purity of his worker's paradise. But then, a paradise he couldn't keep wasn't really a paradise, was it?

Nonetheless, he would have preferred Ghali doing the deal. Ghali was far less scrupled when it came to such things. A practical man, so to speak, while he, Sule, was more a, yes, a prophet. And a prophet had to retain his purity.

As much as possible, anyway.

"Same." He could hear the Yuri saying. "I'm sure this is the begin of a fairly profitable economic relationship." Yuri's answer was a bit of purring, either because she had just signed a rather profitable deal or because she liked the weather. FE was, after all, more than just slightly warmer than the Hack.

What an ugly person. Not even a human. Bah. Although her purring is kinda cute. "Oh, certainly. You're welcome, and I'm sure my people will be honoured by your presence, should you ever wish to come back." I will make certain you don't corrupt them, though. He did, of course, not mean the normal corruption. After all, this corruption made up a major part of the economy, second only to the local, semi- loyal warlords (Which, in a sense, were a part of the greater corruption, anyway). What he did mean was a change of the system, his paradise being overrun by The Hack's libertarians, the capitalist, imperialist threat.

Eventually, he left the building, still chatting with Yuri, watching her leave the country with a rather smallish, though exquisite business jet, property of The Hack.

"What a pain." Sule told himself. "Oh well." A few minutes later, he was back at the Presidential Palace. Girlish giggling awaited him. "Rehema, is that you?"

Three seconds later, the answer had her arms wrapped around his neck. "Dad! There you are!"

For once, Claude Sule, President of Freedom Exterminated, could smile without forcing it upon his lips.

"I have work to..." Seeing her pouty lips, he stopped. "But it can wait." Coming back to me, huh? Well, if they can wait, so can I. He thought, remembering the CCSN issue. Indeed, he had time.

Elsewhere

"I see... well, thank you, Nosine..." Ghali looked at the quivering mass of flesh strapped to the table in front of him. For a moment, he wondered if he should just shoot her. Her eyes certainly begged for it, and she would never be able to regain her health, anyway. And without it... Well, she would starve to death. But then, she was a chance to get her brother, and perhaps a few other rebels...

Ghali closed his eyes, thinking about the President. And, more to the point, his daughter. He would hardly approve of such a move, Sule's soft heart be damned.

"You were very helpful. I will thus make it easy for you." Speaking this words, he raised his gun, looking straight into the girl's eyes. The moment before he pulled the trigger, he actually thought he saw something like approval, a last 'Thank you' in them, reflecting back at him.

For the next move, he would have to talk to the Minister of Defence, Amin Nassor.

A few hours later, Northern Jungle

Captain Nizai Mugabe sighed as he adjusted his course. Missiles? Check. Machineguns? Check.

The flapping of the rotor blades reassured him. All he could hope for was that the rebels didn't have too much anti- air equipment. Well, given that they were busy shooting each other, he hoped they would be too busy to fire back, anyway.

"And there we are... Everyone be ready." The target was right in front of him and the three other helicopters, an island of a few buildings and a few hundred squaremeters of open land in the middle of the green ocean that was the jungle.

The formation broke apart, and he could see the men on the ground running, trying to find cover. He had it easier, all he had to do was to press a few buttons. Moments later, 12.7mm rounds ripped through human bodies, small missiles ended up in pickups and trucks, one hit an APC, apparently the prey of an earlier rebel raid on a government- held base.

The others were shooting as well, equally successful. He chuckled a little as he saw a few men, lying flat on the ground, his copilot was already aiming... Firing... He couldn't actually see the blood, he was to fast for that, but he knew that a few more corpses were lying there, now.

Another missile salvo, a rather poorly build, wooden building burned, and he could see a few women trying to get out of it. Social services, or something like that. Nizai didn't really care about it. He knew that despite their intentions, the rebels weren't too different from the government. Everyone needed some means to relax. This women were one of this means, be it forced or in exchange for food.

Two fell down, and he cursed silently. A waste of ammunition, this was. But then, target practise. Oh well.

And then he saw the cloud, expanding, coming closer... Not directly towards him, but...

"SHIT!"

He heard the explosion, could see the third helicopter going down, its entire front blasted apart, the pilot, Hiji, a good friend of him, dead, falling out of it before it even hit the grund, just to be engulfed in flames as the helicopter exploded on the ground.

"FUCK! They didn't tell us that! Lets go, Now!"

And they turned, quickly. Apparently, they were lucky, no more missiles were fired. Still, the loss was significant. Very significant. Nizai had trouble keeping himself from crying, thinking of Hiji.

Bastards.

On the ground, Francis didn't cry. He was kind of used to this, by now. His entire reaction, with regards to his emotional state, was a quick nod at the soldier/ rebel who had fired the missile. Francis didn't even know the soldier's name.

The damage was significant, and the next assault by Freedom Exterminated's People's Front could happen any minute, now.

Time to retreat.

Northeastern Jungle

Serena Hazika looked at the messenger, stunned. "You're certain?"

The messenger, a rather young man, or rather, boy, perhaps fourteen, fifteen years old, with an AK hanging from his shoulder, nodded. "Yes. Our source is fairly close to the President."

"I see... Well, ok. You may go now."

The boy nodded, leaving quickly, holding his AK, tightly. Serena sighed, looking at him. Just like my boys... I hope he will live a little longer than they did. For her, new problems were arising. If the news were true... Well, first of all, she would have to inform her leaders. They could make the next decisions. What this decisions would be like, she didn't know. She just knew that the possibility of foreign forces backing the government was there. And if it happened... She didn't want to think about the implications. What she thought about were ways to disrupt FE's potential CCSN membership.

Perhaps the command can give me some information about Hogsweat... Perhaps we get a chance.

He faxed it through to the diplomatic unit and let them do the rest of the work.

He skipped a few of the reports, they were regarding issues like humanitarian aid, a few plagues in rebel held territory and starvation in the southern desert (It was understandable, though, seeing as he had just moved to his new (And equally tasteless) office, the windows facing seaside. And if he didn't have to see the misery in Nimunde, why should he have to read reports about the misery elsewhere in his nation? It would defeat the very point of him moving offices.), until he came across the message from Hogsweat.

"Powerf-" ul? I agree with the rest of it, but... He shrugged. "Oh well, if they think so, why not? At least we aren't invaded by some murderous imperialists like they are."

"Yes, I do." Serena answered, politely. She knew this one, Adisa Kusani. 'Adisa'... 'One who will teach us'... She thought. The name was quite correct, Adisa was one of their most valuable members, keeping them together, ordered, allowing them to develop, yet, he was a little unsuitable for the kind of war they were in. He would have been a perfect minister, but here, he was somewhat missplaced, as shown in the (Few) cases when he had been in the fire, helpless.

Still, she liked the roughly fifty years old man. "But it is still a potential threat. Especially if Sule's men push the agenda. Most of them are puppets, true, but..."

"Yes. We will have to find out more."

Asked another one of them, the only woman in the group, Baderinwa Beauvais, her last name hinting at Freedom Exterminated's colonial past, like so many of the 'local' names. Serena wasn't sure of this woman... A part of her was scared by the ice-cold atmosphere Baderinwa carried with her.

"Yes. See how to disrupt... Whatever Sule might plan."

"And your plan is...?" asked Adisa.

"I will see about that when I'm there. Our... source in the palace should be able to give us the necessary information, no?"

The four men and the woman in front of Serena hesitated. And Serena was used enough to this kind of discussion to know that it was her time to leave. She would be informed of the revolutionary council's decision when it was done. And she was quite certain that the decision would be a positive one, seeing as she had successfully defeated the People's Front of Freedom Exterminated. The People's Front (The popular one) was fleeing.

Her wishes should have some weight.

Waiting, watching the (For once) peaceful jungle, she watched a few children, perhaps around ten years old, and almost naked, playing. Now that they had risked this assault in the jungle, despite all the risks... They were gaining resources. Perhaps they could even begin pouring the meager resources they had into the mountains. Getting back what was theirs. Returning home, together with the children who had just now regained their strength, after they had fled the mountains. Many had suffered... Some hadn't made it... But still... They had been successful. Partially.

"Auntie! Here!"

Serena looked around, catching the ball. She giggled, seeing the children. They suffered just like the adults did, yet, a bit of their innocent souls was remaining. She just hoped that it would stay like this... Perhaps even get better.

"That's yours, no?" She tossed the ball back to the boy, laughing cheerfully. Just for one moment, she could actually forget about all this. Just for a moment...
