Kriegorgrad

Thomas stood, unconcernedly fidgeting with his gloved hands by the terminal, the large black trench coat made Thomas seem slightly larger, adding a bit of strength to his meagre frame, the airport was a very official affair, very clean-cut with scarlet banners depicting the Kriegos flag (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/Kriegorgrad/easternblocklogo.jpg) lining the clean white walls, the cheap carpet was without a pattern, breaking the unwritten law that airports should have a cheap pattern forced into the dull carpet to give the illusion of grandeur.

The diplomat stood by the terminal, Thomas’s shadowed hazel eyes and oiled hair gave him a particularly dark appearance, his pale skin contrasted the black coat and trousers he was wearing, not to mention it stood out like a sore thumb among the scarlet banners adorning the walls, his COMSEC retinue looked sinister along with Thomas, he hoped his Sanctaphraxian counterpart wasn’t intimidated by the security Kriegorgrad gave its guests.

The screech of a commercial liner landing brought Thomas out of his daydream in which he thought about how to handle the diplomat’s arrival, he had several scenarios planned out in his head. The plane pulled up to the terminal bridge, a scanner (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/Kriegorgrad/scanners.jpg) darted past taking snapshots and before Thomas knew it, the door between the plane and the bridge opened with a thunk, disgorging the Sanctaphraxian emissaries.

Garulus Pentephraxis stepped off the plane and looked around, his two bodyguards shortly after him. He spotted a man and headed for him, clasping his hand and shaking it.
"Hi, I'm Garulus Pentephraxis, son of PM Cowlquape Pentephraxis, I was sent here to open up relations between our nations. I work for the government when I'm not studying, I'm doing a course in politics, so this sort of thing is good practice." He stood there, his bodyguards were standing immobile behind him, both of them typical trained gorillas, six feet tall and the kind of body which would make a blind man think they were tree trunks.
They stood and talked for a few more minutes, then got into a car to take them to the conference room.
