OOC: Need a resistance.
Kimiko Ayasugi's plan to take over Africa was now in motion. Interlopers had messed things up, and she was going to fix that...NOW!
She began to plot the assasination of the Presidents of Senegal and Gambia. Then, using RALM agents disguised as Muslim agents, she would incite chaos, leading to Virginian intervention.

The President of Senegal was going on a morning jog in the city of Dakar. Guarded by several bodyguards, he often took these daily runs in order to get his mind off of his job......which was hard. Senegal was stable, but politics was politics anywhere.
He didn't notice the man sitting at the nearby cafe. The man was an RALM agent who had been sent to Dakar in order to kill off the President, as part of the plan by the Shogun. He had a MAC-10, and several hand grenades. His comrades were also in the rafters of nearby buildings, armed with SAW's and M16A1's. They would ensure that the President didn;t make it past this point.
And sure enough, the President came almost on cue. Jogging by, he waved to the people and said, "Hey, how's it going!?" and things like that.
The man acted. He got up, and ran towards the bodyguards, firing MAC-10 shots at the entourage.
The party got down, and people began to flee. Meanwhile, the other agents, on cue, fired upon the President and his entourage, filling them full of bullets and taking many of them down in a matter of minutes. The agent at the cafe then ran up to the President, and then emptied the rest of the clip at the injured President, finishing him off.

The next day, Senegal was in mourning. Their beloved leader had been killed. Now, the country was looking for solace, and those who did this crime. The RALM provided them with more suffering, and an alibi, which was discovered by Senegalese police and broadcast on the news:
"Today, a series of explosions rocked Dakar City today, as the main port of Dakar was razed by a sudden blast, beleieved to have originiated from a shipping truck in the harbor. Forensic experts called in from abroad have determined that the truck had SEMTEX in it, tied to a detonator. A group called the Muslim Army of Senegal has claimed responsibility for this heinous crime....as well as the murder of our President.
In response, the Acting President has declared martial law, and the army has been called out to find these killers."
But that was not all. RALM Agents soon began committing numerous acts of terror, blowing up factories, assasinating more government officials, and creating more fear and terror.

The resulting chaos and climate of fear was what the RALM was looking for.
Jake Featherston soon declared:
"Ladies and Gentlemen:
The people of Senegal are now suffering. Moslem insurgents tear the people apart, they bring fear and chaos. I have decided to authorize an intervention to stop the insugency."
"Enlightened Guardian units, some 75,000, a Marine Expeditionary Force, some 25,000, and several Virginian Army Divisions, totalling 80,000 will be sent to Senegal, along with the aircraft carrier Jeb Stuart. God Bless them, and God Bless Virginia."
Of course, he did not say he was going to annex them. But meh......

Several Hours Later
The aforementioned forces assembled at Praia. They soon made preparations for the attack, and later began to move offshore.......
They soon announced their presence by assaulting the Senegalese defenses with F-35's, and Tomahawks. Before long, a steel rain appeared over Dakar, courtesy of the Jeb Stuart and the Marines.
