President Duncann strode in with a big smile. He was just in time for the daily military briefing.

"Good day gentlemen. Its a beautifull day isn't it? *nods in agreement* What are todays points Field Marshall?"

Field Marshall Fu Jong San stood up and began to speak:

"Gentlemen, if you open your files you wil see the following points that must be discussed:
1-The last remains of the old gouvernments
2-Indonesia
3-Improving our military
4-Operation Desa
You must wonder what point four is, it will come later. First point one. According to intelligence, most of the old gouvernments and quite a number of soldiers have fled into Indonesia. Some of our glorious forces have entered Indonesia, but I have halted them, fo..."

Duncann's good mood had vanished:

"WHAT! I ordered them into Indonesia, and you think you have the power to stop them?!?!?!?"
"I am Chief of Staff and I thought we had to stop. Listen to point two. Intelligence has spotted unrest in Indonesia. The country is on the brink of revolution. We may intervene then. And we need all possible forces for Operation Desa."
"You're right. You're absolutly right."

Admiral Cranach stood up and said':

"How long will this take?"
"Two RL days. At a most. We need to hurry, for we have a very important operation coming up."
"Operation Desa?"
"Yes. Under my personal care, our project officers have made advanced plans to attack India, Bangladesh and Myanmar (Burma): Operation Desa. The plan contains fast attacks along the coast to advance as quickly as possible. We must advance with great speed once in India to capture New Delhi and effectivly control the country. We will make use of armoured units to advance with great speed. You will get the detailed plans later."
"Have preparation begun?"
"Yes they have. We will be victorious. But victory is only possible with good preparations."
"Everybodies' dismissed."
"Yes comrade.

The advanced plans were finished, the men trained for assault. A new meeting was called. President Duncann began to speak:

"Gentlemen, the plans are ready, the men are ready. Let me take the plans through with you. We have four invasion beaches: One near Yangoon, another near Sittwe (along Myanmar's western coast), near Chittagong and near Calcutta. All of the armoured forces, Red Honor Guards and the Red Guards will be used in this operation. The force near Calcutta must be th greatest, for that one must advance as quickly as possible to New Delhi to capture the city. Almost the entire navy (except some vessels which will patrol) will support this operation. The Air force will bombard cities and defences. Once we hold enough air ports, we will send enough fighters to give support. Any Questions? Good. I formally start the operation now. We wish the units good luck."

At 0100 hours, bombers took off. The attack had begun. The invasion fleets had already left port a few days ago. They were now in the Bay of Bengals. The men were nervous and curious at the same time. Would the attack succeed?

0230 hours- Heavy bombardments on Yangoon, Calcutta, air ports, coastal defences and other hot spots. The fleets were now 25 miles out of the coast. The large cannons of the battleships and battlecruisers started firing. The missile ships fired load upon load of tomahawk cruise missiles at tagerts further inland.

0530-As the day bagan, the sailors and assault troops saw smoke rise from the beaches. F15IC's and F16IC's flew over and fired their missiles on the fortifications. then they flew inland and straved everything that moved. The assault troops manned the landing craft. They would be supported by 325 PT79 at every beach. The boats left the troop transports and headed for shore, 4 miles away. The ships continued to attack the defences and cities.

"Damn, sir! I feel sorry for those fellows, they're absolutly moulded!"
"Better for us, son. Listen men, we will storm that beach and capture it. Once under control, we will move inland. Bring the men who surrender to the beach, they will be imprisoned. How company will give support from the beach with mortars and heavy machine guns. Any question?"
"No sir!"
"Then check your gear, lock and load!"
"Yes sir!"

The ramp was lowered and the men ran out of the boats towards the burning fortifications. Some hwever weren't destroyed and rsisted like hell. This would be a heavy battle...

War is hell. Sgt. Duncann had fought the entire day. First on the beach, then in the dunes and the fortifications behind the beach and for the last couple of hours, he and his unit had anvanced along the main road towards Yangoon. He didn't knew how many men he had killed. He onlu knew that he was tired, so tired. They would halt and dig in for the night any moment now.

"OK, men, dig in! 3rd Platoon first watch, rest take a nap and eat something. Tommorow we're in Yangoon!"
"Hurrah! Long live the revolution!"

The men dug in and some took a rest. Within an hour the entire camp was silent. The tired men of the third platoon had a extra ration of coffee to stay awake. This would be a long night. In the distance they saw the flashes and heared the noises of battle. A few F16IC's flew over on their way to attack the enemy positions a few miles ahead. Artillery kept firing on those positions and so did the mortar companee's. The shelling continued the entire night. When morning broke, the men saw smoke rising in front of them. They quickly packed camp and moved on. They were undr attack a few times untill they reached Yangoon...

"Fuck it! There, third window from the left, RPG!"
"Got him!"

"Ok, move on!"

Yangoon was almost in Warta Endorean hands. A small pocket of resistence was still active in downtown Yangoon. Of the coast of Bangladesh, a ship with a radiostation was almost in position. When they are in position, the following message will be broadcasted:

Greetings civillians of Bangladesh/Burma!

The glorious Revolution has reached your homecountries! No longer will your corrupt governments rule. Yangoon is already in our hands. Chittagong and Dhaka just a matter of time. Mandalay is bombed into submission. Surrender and war will cease ruining your lands. Force your government to surrender and the war will stop. You will become Warta Endoreans!
