Dryniar embarks upon expansionistic policy
In the past few days Dryniar has begun to expand its borders. This decision was based upon President Darkaxe's realization that to the west lay a large deserted area of land, stretching to the sea. With this addition of land President Darkaxe has made a note of the fact that he will be soon looking into aquiring the requirements to start a Navy.
News today on the continued expansion of Dryniar. After apparently opening its eyes to the world at large, Dryniar noticed that their was a lovely peninsula located just south of their borders. However, unlike its last annexation, this area is inhabited. A small, un-unified nation of roaming tribes lived there. At this time, we hear that the expansion goes well and there have not been many casualties. Approximately 12 tribal members have died, and one infantryman of Dryniar died from falling off of a cliff. The annexation is expected to be complete by the end of the month.

Official Imperial Statement
As to all nations of similar foreign interest, the Empire wishes you well in your expansion, and offers her assistence if the need arises. On an unrelated note, we report that construction on the Dryniaran embassy in Generia City has recently concluded, and is ready for occupation at the leisure of the Dryniaran government.
The embassy employees are currently boarding a C-130J Hercules bound for your capital. They should arrive in a day or two, depending on fuel availability. We have a KC-130 following them in the event of lack of fuel or emergency in air refuling being required. Also, your embassy is completed and we eagerly await the arrival of your representatives, the guards currently stationed there are awaiting transfer, they continue to bitch about guarding an empty building.
We recognize your offer, but as of currently do not need assistance in our efforts. After this peninsula is secured, we must refocus our attention on the crisis in Certe. After that we may again look to expanding our borders.

The Colonial Government urges you to follow the rules of war regarding military conduct, civilian treatment and prisoner treatment during the course of this annexation. The international community, generally speaking, tends to frown upon atrocities of most types that may be commited during military offensives.

You may put your fears to rest, we are treating the natives with the upmost hospitality, unless they resist, and then we still are generally kind. We have no prisoners, and only the ones that refuse to submit are killed, only after extreme talks with our advisors. We do not wish to incite war in our effort to expand. We merely need to provide more habital area for our citizens, the tribes will be allowed to keep areas of importance as reserves, so that we do not encroach to much on their beliefs. We will even teach them how to build casinos.

Very well then. The Colonial Government wishes both you and the native tribes as peaceful of an annexation as possible. Should either side require medical assistance, the Democratic Colonies is available to help in that manner.

As of yet we do not need medical help, but if you could help us come up with a way to prevent the less intelligent of our soldiers from falling off of cliffs it would be much appreciated, we were thinking anti-grav boots but, well that technology is years maybe decades out of our reach. (OOC: plus I dont want em...)

A bit out of our reach as well, I'm afraid - you'll have to find your own solution to that problem. Surely though, this isn't a commonly encountered issue in your military?

We have our few geniuses, but for the most part no. I guess we could transfer the ones with lower asvab scores to the plains, but then they may trip on a prarie dog hole and shoot themselves or a comrade...
