The death of an Empire
Borman Empire

OOC: Don’t come in with some massive army and try to invade me; this has a plot line, which can be twisted a bit, but not that much. And yes I meant to say Empire.
SACS=Stay Alive Combat Suit (Dinosaurs, raptors, and palace guards have these)
Dinosaurs=Borman’s elite soldiers
Praetorians=Generian elite soldiers
P.S. This is post Sarzonian-Roach-Bustererian war so if you're involved in that then you cna participate in this.
IC:
It was a normal night in the palace. Bhalk had finished with his chosen harem members and was asleep in bed. Guards stood stiff and tall holding their weapons. Servants prepared for tomorrow and the Chancellor sat tidying up his papers. Then when two doors opened the face of the world changed…
Captain Mark Antonius stood with his chest in the air and his SACS gleaming in the hall light. A bead of sweat rolled down his curved hands on the butt of his gun. He stood stiff on the right side of the top of the staircase with his back to the wall. To his left was the carpeted stairs, to his right a long hallway led to massive doors opening into Bhalk’s room. In a mere matter of minutes he would be off and receive the next following weeks off to spend time with his wife and new baby at his home.
“Look sharp Antonius.”
A passing major gave him a wink and Antonius straightened out the slouch that had been creeping on. Suddenly the doors opposite him flew open, one slammed into the wall and another into his fellow stair guard. Blinding light flooded out and his SACS helmet automatically adjusted to shield his eyes. Suddenly the light became black and an eerie red glow filtered out on top and bottom. Then smoke crawled out along the bottom of the floor. The major drew his handgun and took a step forward.
Antonius heard a whizzing sound and the Major collapsed backwards, with a medieval throwing axe sticking out of his head. Training snapped in as his hands flew and he stood straight with his gun held up ready to fire.
An ear-shattering scream attacked his head as dark figures appeared in the misty red black light that had merged to cover the door and surrounding area. As he tested the safety on his gun he took notice to his surroundings. The guards at the bottom of the stairs had come up and taken different positions on the stairs, on his other side guards from the various hallway doors had taken position along the hall opposite those on the stairs. Together they formed a semi-circle crashing into the wall and leaving nowhere to run. He saw other figures, more guards, running to join the lines.
As the figures started to pour out of the mist he saw the red alarm light flare against the wall. Sirens came to life as the assailants came out.
Another throwing axe flew by him and landed in the head of another guard. Then they came. When they came out he was too shocked to fire, much like everyone else.
Warriors resembling the Vikings were attacking them. Chain mail was covered by tattered red shirts and black vests. Brown leggings barely covered the extra daggers strapped to their legs. In their arms were shields and medieval weapons different sizes shapes and classes. Suddenly he came out of his dream world and his finger snapped down and lead pumped into the man right in front of him. Other guns suddenly came to life and he was overcome with a sense of safety as more lines of fire pumped into the Viking in front of him. Then he was horrified as the Viking continued to charge. He pulled the trigger harder and harder. He tried to push himself further into the wall and felt his gun slip out of his hand. His right hand drew his saber as his left hand went for his desert eagle. As he began to hoist up the saber the Viking crashed into him.
His SACS absorbed most of the shock from the shield and he fell down and started to slide down some stairs. The Viking jumped down next to him and brought his mace behind his head. Then he swung the mace down and…
----------------------------------------------------
“WHAT IS THAT!?”
Bhalk shot up in bed. Licinius and several others were there putting together his stuff.
“The palace has been breached.”
“I don’t want to be bothered with a drill while I sleep.”
“This is no drill, get up!”
“Who could possibly get near the palace let alone breach it? We have Dinosaurs and Praetorians here, you will not find any better soldiers on this entire planet.”
Licinius ran over toe the massive doors and grabbed the large ornate steel handle. He opened the door with a creek and the battle scene greeted Bhalk. No less than 150 yards away Vikings were locked in combat with Dinosaurs and Praetorians. Even though the guards wielded firearms and the occasional saber versus the Viking’s ancient weaponry the Vikings were coming fast.
“I’ve seen this in my dream. The gods themselves seek my job.”
Bhalk walked over to his right wall. Thousands of dollars hung there in the form of medieval, Roman, and all assortments of ancient weaponry. Bhalk was a fan for some un-explainable reason and had a massive collection. He tied a long sword onto his waist and then grabbed a double axe and a large round shield.
“What is the lord’s name are you doing?”
“You only live once. I’ve done so many things and I’m dying soon. I want to die a hero’s death.”
“I can’t-”
“You can’t make me leave, I’ll cut you down first.”
Licinius briskly strode over and then stuck his hand out. He grabbed the handle of a morning star and took it off the wall. He picked a handgun up from one of the many tables against the large wall and slid it in his pants. He fastened a blade around and then grabbed a large rectangular shield. As he did this the other advisors and generals as well as Raptors who were there did the same. The captain of the Raptors, possibly the most elite and secretive organization in the world was there. He too grabbed some weapons. Bhalk walked closer to the door and opened his gun rack, and then grabbed one.
------------------------------
“We can’t stop them, less than ten have fallen and more then twice that remain!”
“Stand firm for Borman!”
“I can-”
“That wasn’t me.”
The guards who had fallen back before the Emperor’s bedroom doors to form a defensive line were scared that more assailants were behind them. Then the Emperor stepped in front of them.
“Stand firm for Borman. You have served me long and well, many of you have served in more wars then I can re-count. Some of you even were alive for the reign of Alexei. We have taken the Mediterranean, tamed the wild, brought power to our allies, and ourselves and we shall make our stand here. You aren’t fighting for yourselves, or survival, you aren’t fighting for your families, you aren’t fighting for your legacy, you’re fighting for Borman.”
Suddenly an arrow grew out of Bhalk’s left shoulder. The Viking line had defeated those with them and they charged the band of guards, advisors, generals, and others who had formed the last defense.
“Are you gonna let them do that to your emperor?”
Bhalk collapsed a little and then turned around and drew his BEWD. He fell on one knee and started firing into the heart of one Viking. To everyone’s amazement the Viking fell and Bhalk wet to another.
“Let’s go!”
The weapons was discarded as he grabbed his axe and held his shield. A second arrow flew into him, this one in his heart.
As the line came to him he fell a bit and then swung his arm and axe into one of the Vikings, cleaving his hand right off.
“FOR BORMAN!!!”
The line charged and fired several shots before drawing their weapons and beginning to fight.
Bhalk and Licnius stood back to back, slaying the Vikings that came to them. Parry, blow, parry, blow, parry, parry, blow, sneak blow. Vikings fell left and right as the line fought with new vigor. Bhalk had slain at least twenty Vikings with his axe and it finally broke off into one head. Quickly he drew his sword and began to continue battle...
Suddenly he felt his back decrease in warmth and he turned to find Licinius stagger against the wall. A Viking brought a mace into Licnius’ stomach and leaned forward to mock him. Licinius grabbed his ear and dragged him forward. Licinius sunk his teeth into the Viking’s head and a scream filled the hall. He tried to pull away and then Licinius drew the dagger from the strap in the man’s leg. He plunged it into the Viking’s chest, and then again, and again. Finally he kicked him off and looked up at Bhalk.
With a soft voice he said, “For Borman.”
A sword slammed into Bhalk’s side. Both he and Licinius started at it, it was Licinius’ last sight. Bhalk whirled around and slew the Viking wielding the sword and then went into a fiery rage. He swung and jabbed and swung and jabbed, he lost all control.
------------------------------------------
Bhalk let his shield drop from his hand. He held his sword and hand above and let out a call of triumph. At his feet stood the bodies of over 50 Viking invaders and various Borman palace personnel. The dead included generals, advisors, Licinius, and more. Bhalk looked around and took a slow blink. He stumbled backwards a bit and fell onto his knees.
An invader’s hand moved and grabbed hold of a scimitar, Bhalk cut off the hand then head. He fell over backwards and people ran forward to crowd around him.
His blood-drenched hands reached upwards. “Tell them my story.”
I don't really understand.

“This is Aisa Llbright with BIN. Today mysterious assailants have completed what was thought to be impossible, breaching the Borman palace. The dead include the highest-ranking generals in Borman, Chancellor Licinius, hundreds of guards, and even our Emperor himself. Seeing as Bhalk was never married and thus had no legitimate children and all of the generals who could have taken control died there is no certain heir. Of Bhalk’s many bastard children 7 of them gained a spot in the military. Tierius, Roderick, Markus, Sanjeet, Hagan, Vladimir, and Jadon are those seven sons. Vladimir is the general in charge of the maintenance and defense of Borman colonies; he says that he does not wish to become emperor and will serve whoever succeeds his father. The others are various generals in charge of Foreign military bases, certain areas, and just field generals. All of them have stopped communication and word is that they are rallying their soldiers and attempting to gain more soldiers. All told the soldiers of all generals is about % of the Borman military. Other generals and groups of soldiers have pledged loyalty to whoever becomes emperor, others have pledged loyalty to certain generals and want their general to be emperor. Even certain gangs are starting to pledge loyalty to some of the generals. Tierius, who could be considered the least powerful has received the backing of the most fearsome crime syndicate in the Borneric empire of Uberness; the gang called KG. The prophets of old said that one day Borman would be true to it’s title, and Borman’s title is the Blood-soaked lands of Borman empire. Many think that that day may be very soon. I’m Aisa Llbright, out!”
(Damn, I should have done that thing sooner. Although the vikings still seem to be a stretch. I feel out of the loop.)
I'll respond in just a second.
A speech from the emperor of Alexia, Alexander Thompson I, to all UDF nations:
"People of the empire, people of the union, toaday is a sad day, for the people of Borman, and for the people of the world. Today, the good emperor Bhalk, my friend and our ally, was bruttally assasinated by a fringe religious group, who was aided by traitors, conspirators and sabators withing the Emperial Government of Borman. The culprits have been stopped, but the damage is now done. Even now, the traitors of the empire and other greedy opportunists seek to use this national, rather, international tragedy, to serve there own ends, to seize power and the monarchy, to exploit the suffering of the people for there own gain. This is exactly what emperialism is about, that being the system under which we live in Alexia. It is about stopping opportunists and greedy, power hungry thugs such as these from disergarding the good of the people for there own personal gain. We cannot allow our allies in Borman to be destroyed by the greed of evil traitors from within! We cannot let the people of Borman be plagued by these weapon toting dictatorial aristocrats*! My friends, my comrades, today, the Empire, and the United Defence Frontier must act quickly and decisivly. As of today, the Borman Empire is under UDF control, headed by the Alexian Empire, until which a time that we may achieve peace, stop the factions from there power jockying, and bring the rightfull heir of the good emperor Bhalk to the throne! We will, no doubt, have to face the reactionary factions who have there own good and not the good of Borman at heart, but we will stand strong! We will not abandon our allies in there time of need! Even now, our forces are en route to the Borman Empire, to act to keep the peace and order. May devine fortune guide the union, and protect the people of the Borman Empire!"
(I'm sorry, that was badly puntuated and badly written, but I forgot what I was doing halfway through, and then it got deleted, so I had to do it again.)
(I forget, Borman is not landlocked, is it? Oh, and the emperor, yes, he said alot of lies and half truths, but he is a politician after all.)
(* The emperor has in fact no claim to any royal line as far as anyone knows. He is essentially a despot, and calls himself "A monarch of the people")
(Please tell me if there is any problem)
The Emperial goverment would be contacting whoever is controlling the ports on mainland, and pledging to support them as emperor, or if they are devided, the largest port, and trying to negotiate to get there troops landed(that being the Alexian forces))
At great cost, 1,100,000 soldiers from the standing army (along with all forms of military support, ect.) and are going into convoys of boats headed for mainland Borman.
Message From the Emperial Goverment:
The UDF must take control of Borman until which a time that order can be restored and the rightfull heir can ascend to the monarchy.
We suggest a UDF coalition, with troops from all member nations, and call upon the first resolution and the Risban City Pact to spur allies into action.

“Welcome back to BIN. Today reports tell that there is a build-up of soldiers in Belarus, Algeria, Israel, and Syria. What few officials remain speculate that these countries viewed our last government change and saw that many border countries fell when it happened and so want to be ready. General Vladimir has been witnessed preparing soldiers on the Algerian border to counter anything that might occur. General Tierius was last seen on a plane heading towards the border of Belarus, General Roderick is heading to Egypt and General Markus is making his way to the Turkey-Syrian border.
“The Chancellors son is maintaining the Empire now while officials attempt to find the best candidate for Emperor. The non-Chancellor has said to Alexias that aid is appreciated but not yet needed. We-”
Suddenly the man put his finger to the earpiece in his ear as an aide scurries on and hands him some hand-written papers.
“My god, it has happened. We are in civil war. Jadon secretly took his men to the Belarus border in hopes of removing the threat to find Tierius’ men. They began to argue and then battle erupted. As they fought and weakened each other Belarus soldiers coursed in and began to eliminate the both of them. They were momentarily united and their soldiers allowed the Generals and a select few others to retreat to their main armies.
“I have word that each of the generals except Vladimir has declared themselves Emperor and declared war on each other, once more excepting Vladimir. Those on the borders of foreign states say they will fight to secure Borman’s freedom from foreigners before they fight for the right of Emperor; most likely an attempt to gain favor.
“As of this moment we are in civil war and at war with Belarus, if we do not receive aid from the Generic empire, we may become true to our name.”

Secret IC:
Vladimir walked down the corridor of his Command building. He strode into his office and plopped down onto his red rolling chair. As he reached into his desk for a cigar an aide strode in.
“We have the intelligence reports.”
“Spill.”
“Well on the Moroccan border there are about 428 soldiers per kilometer, save two kilometers where each one of those has a build up of about 1,000,000 ready to drive in. On the Tunisian border there are about 675 soldiers per kilometer, save one with a build up of 1,000,000. On the Libyan border there are about 692 soldiers per kilometer, save one with yet another force of about 1,000,000. This leaves roughly 3,300,000 not on a Borman border. About 1.5 million of that is being used to cover the other borders of Algeria. If you do the math they have 1,894,481 soldiers left over. Pretty much all of them are at the capital. We have readied massive missile strikes on the 4 areas of concentrated soldiers, we should be able to wipe out most if not all of them without fighting. As soon as those happen we have 4 convoys of half a million each ready to go through the cleared land and head for the capital. By the time we get there that force will have moved west. A fifth larger missile strike has been readied and that will then be launched at this group. Our Soldiers will then capture the capital and demand surrender. With about two thirds of their military destroyed, their capital in our hands, and our casualties mainly if not totally just gained from taking the capital, I don’t see why they wouldn’t surrender.”

The generals may not have been the highest generals but they had intelligence and knew how to use it. All of them were doing the same as Vladimir, much like Hitler had done. Spies found people in the enemy government who supported them and helped them to leak information. Each general soon got details on locations and installations of the countries in which they had assigned themselves. Those who had a self-assigned task of taking out a threatening country were avoiding one another so as not to waste soldiers; but those who didn’t were attempting to face each other.
Hagan and Jadon were about to face each other. Both of them wanted to control Spain, or at least the city of Gibraltar, and thus half of the strait of Gibraltar. Through this they could aide there side, hamper the enemy, and possibly gain allies. Hagan knew Jadon was going to pass through the town of Saragossa, which he already had. So Hagan set about fortifying the town. Sandbag walls, trenches, mines, barbed wire, tank traps, pits and more were set up. Tanks fanned out to provide ability to hit the flanks of the enemy and make avoiding the town even harder. Jadon only learned of the enemy camped ahead several hours before coming within range of the artillery which had been brought in.
“Sir, we have to avoid it. Then we can go and take Gibraltar.”
“He probably already sent men to take Gibraltar. We’ll get there to find it in enemy hands and then a massive force will have covered our rear and fanned out to our flanks, we have to hit it now.”
“If we do hit it now, and take them out then if they have Gibraltar we can force those man to swear allegiance.”
“That’s a great idea. We get the strait, wipe out an enemy, and get more men to cover our losses. Then all the men joining Hagan will join us. STOP! Set up camp. Here’s what I want done…”

“Welcome to BIN. We have urgent news. Sanjeet has stormed the mini-capital in Paris. For those of you who don’t know the mini-capital houses the embassies of all nations not requesting close proximity to the capital. Due to Borman’s size and the capital’s extremely tight security few nations have embassies near it and fewer in it. Sanjeet has yet to cross embassy and international lines so to speak and storm an embassy. It is believe that he is attempting something to gain the favor of outside powers. He might be planning to take the embassies hostage and demand allegiance for their safety. If it weren’t for the lack of an empire and warring generals a force would rise to quickly eliminate him. Multiple foreign military bases are near by and one of them may be asked to deal with the threat. And…oh my god we have breaking footage. Sanjeet soldiers are attempting to storm a Doomingsland embassy. We’ll take you to them now.”
The camera turned black and faded back on outside of a Doomingsland embassy. The doors were shut tightly and the windows down and locked. A circle of APCs surrounded the building and soldiers were behind them firing their BEWDs. Many more men were throughout and surrounding Paris and more were coming to join the line of men by the vans. Finally some donned somewhat bullet proof shields and a hundred or so charged up the stairs and to the embassy doors….

“Are we ready?”
Vladimir looked at the man sitting in front of the big red button.
“Yup.”
“Do it.”
The ground opened as steel moved aside and thousands of tomahawk cruise missiles launched into the sky. As men manning artillery saw this they opened up with shells laced with VX gas. Cruise missiles and shells fell in massive quantities on the large concentration of Algerian soldiers. The numbers slowly dwindled and collapsed to nothing as convoys of mechanized infantry and APCs drove through on their way to the capital. Soon they would be near it and another salvo would eliminate the last large concentration of Algerian soldiers.

From the now clear areas of the border convoys of 500,000 soldiers issued forth. They continued a straight path towards the capital only firing on things that got in their way. Artillery, tanks, and supply trucks came along with the convoys.
When they came to their designated checkpoints spies and satellite images confirmed that the group of soldiers had moved northward. Coordinates were sent to the men manning the missile launch sites as the artillery set up to fire on the soldiers. Within minutes the go-code was given to the launch sites as well as the artillerymen. Guns fired off one after another with shells laced with VX gas. Thousands of missiles launched and took off for the Algerian soldiers with a strong promise of death. Explosions ripped the Algerian soldiers so badly they wouldn’t even be recognized as corpses. Gas fanned out and choked the life of the few soldiers left.
The word was passed on that the attack was a major success. The second go code was given and the convoys took off for the capital. Artillery was left behind and it re-positioned itself to fire upon the capital. The artillerymen had coordinates of various defensive structures at the capital and began to open fire on them. Missile sites, barracks, gun installations, command centers and more were shelled. As the soldiers drew closer to the capital the Algerians knew it was done. All military, police, and fierce patriots fled to the capital building; everyone else walked out with their hands up.
The artillery grew silent as the soldiers entered a defenseless city. People flocked to them in massive groups telling of their surrender and where everyone else went. The people were herded away as tanks and APCs approached the capital building.
“There it is.”
The driver of an RM-30Emperor pointed out the white majestic building. An iron gate surrounded it and two Algerian flags fluttered alongside the sealed gate. Another, much larger, Algerian flag sat atop the building. It fluttered fiercely in the wind and represented an object of morale for Algerian soldiers.
Suddenly a twang was heard, then another.
“We’re under fire!”
Snipers lying atop the building, in its balcony, and hidden in the grounds had begun to fire upon the Borman forces. Borman snipers secretly climbed out and fanned out to find spots to fire upon the enemy from. Tanks were ordered not to bring harm to the building and so opened fire on any movement sighted on the ground. Bushes erupted in explosions of fire, soil, branches, and body parts. Chain guns and other machine guns opened up mercilessly in random swings upon the ground. All sorts of fire occurred on the building’s grounds, and while this happened several soldiers had crept towards the gates. Charges were placed upon hinges, and all along the crease in the middle. The men crept back to their force and took out the operating remotes. The big red buttons were pushed and smoke and dirt clogged vision of the area momentarily. As that had happened snipers had found positions in and on buildings as well as certain advantageous terrain. Shots rang out as enemy snipers on the building began to roll off.
The tanks rolled through and spread out on the terrain. As they concentrated on finding any remaining enemies APCs sped up to the front of the building. Over one million soldiers were in the capital and they were going to cram in as many as possible. Half the gate area was dedicated to APCs leaving the building and the other half was for APCs coming in to deliver soldiers.
As the troops amassed at the door explosives were placed all around it. The door was shattered open and soldiers flooded in. It was like water flooding a house. As they passed a door one part broke off and went inside the door. When the room was full the part going into that room-changed course to join with the rest. Within minutes the building was crammed with soldiers and thousands of dead Algerians lay on the floor. In the leader’s office there was only 20 soldiers, these men held their guns up as the leader signed his complete surrender. After he finished he was shot.
Atop the building soldiers walked up to the flagpole and lowered the Algerian flag. It was set ablaze as the Borman flag was raised in it’s place.

As the men charged up the stairs, three claymore mines facing the line of men were detonated, easily shredding through them. 20 feet behind that, two VEPR-clad marines manned an M240B machinegun, and began to pepper the doorway with .308 rounds. They, along with six other marine riflemen, sat behind a sandbag embankment in the hallway leading deeper into the embassy.
Major Marcus Manius Decimus, commander of the marine garrison of the embassy, was in the machinegun nest as the Sanjeet troops stormed the doorway. He and his men were laying a thick blanket of 6.5mm and 7.62mm fire into the tiny doorway, leaving a huge pile of bloody, mutilated corpses. "Keep 'em comin! We got plenty of ammo to waste on these heathen bastards!" he yelled to his men as he held down the trigger of his rifle, emptying thirty rounds within a few seconds. He stared down the red dot scope of his rifle, watching as enemies were shredded by the fire, and as his ammunition count dropped with every pull of the trigger. His aim was nearly perfect, aided by the Physical Attribution Enhancement system of his VEPR NGCS. He knew virtualy everything that was going on in the embassy thanks to the direct nueral interface and display systems, so he was fully in control of his men.
If the enemy got closer, they would face the blades the marines carried with them, and all hell would break loose.
The bullet-proof shields, while good against lighter rounds, such as .45s and 9mms, weren't quite adequete against rifle rounds. The resulting battle resembled Thermopolae, with just a few marine riflemen and machinegunners holding the small door while an MV-68 Banshee pulled the civilian workers off of the roof.
There were only forty marines holding the building. That was all they would need.
The other marines had taken up window positions, fireing their 20mm HEAT rounds from their underbarrel caseless grenade launchers at the enemy APCs and their primary 6.5mm rounds at the hostile infantry. So far, only three of them had been put out of action.

Sanjeet knew he would lose hundreds in this attack, possibly thousands. But if it would assist getting Doomingsland as an ally it was well worht it. With Doomingsland support he would be able to take down any foe. So now he continued the attack.
Men who had taken positions behing APCs begna to fire on the Doomingsland soldiers in the window. Someone ran over with an RPG and fired a shot into one of the higher windows.
A score of grenades were thrown down the hallway as most of the men throwign them were cut to pieces. Then smoke grenades and flashbangs were thrown in. Smoke exploded and various flashes occured. Soldiers rolled in and began to fire upon the machinegun nest. As they did so more soldiers filtered in behind them and took up firing positions. The smae man with the RPG managed to get a shot on the nest before duckign out as the man next to himm fell into a pool of blood.
Sanjeet called up a small force of Dinosaurs and began to explain the situation and the need for their victory. In a short tiem they would run through to engage the enemy in hand to hand combat.
OOC: This guy is one of several contending for leadership of the Borman empire, he has alot of soldiers. But this is after the Sarzonian war and so after the Ramissle war and you could use those 200,000 Doomingsland soldiers (Minus casualties from war) if they still remained. And if they didnt you have a military base nearby.

When the grenades began to fly into the hallway, the men simply threw back the ones that landed behind the baracade. Once the enemy troops started to pile up even more, a lowly private decided it was time for him to become a martyr. He stood up, emptying his last magazine, and lept over the embankment, charging towards the door. "FOR THE EMPEROR!!! FOR GOD!!! ARRRGGGHHHH!!!" BLAAAAAAAM
He disappeared in a massive fireball and the subseqeunt collapsing of the hallway, blocking the only entrance to the embassy. He'd set of a three pound brick of C4 that was embedded in his vest, killing him, along with a ton of Sanjeet troops.
Marcus then ordered for the hallway to be mined and rigged to blow for when enemy forces broke through. He and his men pulled back to a position deeper within the embassy, in the basement.
Meanwhile, the troops in the windows were begining to pull back after sustaining multiple casualties, but not before littering the courtyard with grenades, both regular fragmentation and 20mm airburst, completely saturating the area. The garrison was down to just 28 men, now.

Soldiers scattered from the burning hulks of APCs as men tumbled out of the front hallway.
"It's collapsed."
"Start digging through the rubble."
Colonel Dabjrit approached the group of Dinosaurs and picked out ten of them.
"Grab climbing knives and climb up there. Go through one of the windows and get to the inside. See if the rubble is rigged to blow."
Dabjrit walked past scorches of flame and charred land as soldiers ran all about him. Equipment was carried by him as his team went into a van and pulled out their equipment.
"Don't fail me."

The men had all retreated to the basement, but not before setting up claymore mines in the windows and cameras behind them to see when enemy troops were coming. The men had set up sandbags, mines, and machineguns, all facing the only door. The basement was divided into a number of small rooms, all of which the men had booby trapped. Marcus and a few others sat around a table, reviewing the situation,
"Well, brothers, it looks as if this could be our last fight. It has been an honor commanding you." he said in a solemn tone. The others bowed their heads in recognision.
"Sir, this may not be the last. Remember, there is a legion stationed just fifty miles outside the city." replied one of the men, a young lieutenant who seemed to have a good career ahead of him.
"Ah, young Gaius, how I will miss your nievity. No, the odds of them reaching us in time are slim to none." he said, patting the twenty-two year old boy on the head. He was then overcome by a strong sense of nationalism, and stood, addressing all of the men in the garrison. "Brothers! You've known me for too long, and should know this by now: I expect you to fight to the death for Doomingsland, and nothing less, for upon our glorious demise, we shall be at the gates of heaven, greeted by St. Peter himself. Today is a good day to die, and we will die. Every last one of us." he said, a grim expression upon his face, "However, before we go to our ancestors, remember this: for every heretic you slay, God will reward you all the greater. Before we die, we will kill as many of them as we can. This is all I expect of you, for you are Marines, warriors of God and the Empire. Now, look towards the stairwell, for we have guests coming. Are you on an Earth or something? Because in Earth II(which is baisically all my RP's) I control Tunisia and north Eastern Algeria...

This could be a conflicting RP...
Inside the Imperial Palace
In the Great Citadel in the center gold-domed city of Carthage, Prime Minister Steve Hargin drank coffee while reading The Art of War when he was interrupted by an aide.
"Sir! Sir! It seems that the Borman Empire is in Chaos and is on the verge of collapsing!!!"said the aide exitedly.
The Prime Minister spit out his coffee.
"You said what now?"
"The Borman Empire is on the brink of collapse!"
Both men stared at each other blankly for a seconds, and then...
"WHOOOOOOPPPPIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"
The two men began to prance around the room and everyone in the citadel started to jump for joy. One by one, the nations which had turned on The Lightning Star were descending into chaos and destruction. The Parthian Empire had been destroyed(on Earth II), the Generic Empire had fallen(on Earth II), and now the Borman Empire was about to fall into anarchy(on...not...Earth..II...). This was a cause for celebration.
The Prime Minister then issued an Imperial Decree.
"No Carthaginian's shall be sent by the Empire to assist the Borman Empire in it's troubles. Individuals who try to leave the country to get to Borman Empire will be caught and thrown in jail."
In the deserts, the armies of Carthage were stirring...

Dabjrit looked around the embassies and remembered a name, Kyleralia.
“Welcome to the jungle bitch.” Dabjrit picked up a megaphone and addressed the soldiers. “Make your war to the Kyleralian embassy, now!”
Most of the APCs and tanks took off to surround the Kyleralian embassy, but several hundred soldiers and some tanks remained to guard the wreckage.
------------------------------------------
Outside Kyleralian embassy:
When Sanjeet had taken control of Paris every embassy run by a competent staff had begun to lock themselves up, Kyleralia was no different. Sanjeet and his men came to a complex with locked doors and sealed windows.
Two teams of five men quickly scaled the stairs and made their way to the doors. Charges were set on the hinges and the middle of the door. As soon as they were finished the teams pulled back and hugged the wall as several other larger teams slowly climbed up the stairs.
Dabjrit picked up the megaphone and addressed the staff inside, “Come out now with your hands up or we will storm the embassy.”
--------------------------------------------
“Hello and welcome back to BIN. Today Doomingsland embassy staff has defeated an incursion by Sanjeet who has now set his sights on Kyleralia. After receiving several death threats and avoiding several assassinations the ex-Chancellor’s son has renounced his title as temporary emperor and gone into hiding. We now have no acting government and have 6 generals vying for the title of emperor. The only reason that anyone could say we are not in civil war is that the generals have not faced each other yet. But Hagan and Jadon may change that soon.
Also we are receiving outside threats. A nation who we assisted to backstab, you all should know who it is because we have only backstabbed one nation, yes The Lightning Star is giving us threats. That nation says that it will get revenge for its most humiliating defeat in history. Luckily several Borman allies have promised protection from this threat, Roach-Busters, The Parthians, Wirraway, and Generic Empire. Alone Borman might be able to defeat TLS, but in this crisis it is not likely. But with our allies help we most likely will be able to. I only hope that these generals can put aside personal greed for several moments to unite and fight this new threat.”

Offical Statement by the Empire
"Over the past few days, we have seen increasing resentment towards our nation by the international community. You see us as "terrorists", "warmongers", and "idiotic Muslims who want revenge". Those are far from the truth. All we seek is justice for crimes done upon our nation. Sure, these events happened years ago, but there are still scars on our nation. You can still see bombed-out buildings in Karachi, burnt fields in Punjab, and in Northern Mozambique(which is in utter and complete Anarchy at the moment) the area remains virtually the same as when the war occured 2 decades ago. Now, you may think that it is silly for us to want revenge for an act that happened when many of you were only children, but for the older ones among us we remember the brutality of the Borman Empire and their allies. We want justice, and we want it now. Here are but a few pictures of the horrible crimes commited against our people. Not just justice from the Bormans, but from the Parthians as well. "

It wouldn't be the same, J.L. All we need is a simple apology... and a trillion dollars(in total. Parthia owes us $600,000,000,000 , Borman owes us $300,000,000,000 and Generia owes us $100,000,000,000.) While your money would cover the costs of the war, it would be a slap in the face to our honor. We don't even need the money all at once! All we need, for now, is an Apology.

Any attack on Borman territory by foreign troops will result in the total annihilation of the perpatraters of said offense.

Meanwhile, 20,000 men of the 5th Legion (infantry) had begun to encircle Paris. They intended to make an incursion and rescue the pinneddown embassy marines, and hopefully wipe out a good portion of Sanjeet's army.

OOC: You do realize I had like 3,000 soldiers in your land when we backstabbed you. That's why I only claimed like one city and the surrounding lands. I don't see how my damage costs could be more then GE when he had 1,000 times the amount of soldiers I had in your land.
And there are no Muslims in my nation. I went communist a while ago and the leader went somewhat crazy and executed Muslims in addition to most people. Any that remained would have surely fled when Bhalk died, knowing that another takeover was in the future.

OOC: Yes. I know.
The thing is, you own Mozambique, so the damages go over to you. Not to mention, aren't you and GE one country? So in reality, it doesn't matter how much I charged either of you.
And when did I say there were Muslims in your nation?

General Markus looked at his reports. Roughly 1,000 Syrian soldiers for every Kilometer not bordering Borman or Parthians; roughly 1,325 for every KM that did border Borman or Parthians. His soldiers had begun to siphon into Parthians and set up on the Syrian border there. Borman had about 2,000 soldiers adjacent to each Syrian kilometer of 1,325. Shelling had begun a while ago and small cruise missile strikes had been launched. Several of the kilometers were weakened and military and government buildings throughout the country in ruins. But the would not welcome Borman with open arms.
“Can we commence?”
“Very soon sir. We have here plans of cities that may join us or present minimal resistance, as well a military plans.”

Outside of Paris
"General." said a uniformed Legionary with a colonel's insignias as he walked up the rear ramp door of a converted IFV.
"Colonel. You have orders from the High Command?" said General Lucius, leaning back on his chair inside of his M-25C Command Vehicle.
"Yes sir. The Emperor commands you to bring him the head of the one called Sanjeet." replied the colonel, standing straight before his general.
"Any restrictions on looting? asked the general, turning to a console and hitting a few buttons on the keyboard below it.
"They have made no mention of restrictions, sir."
"Excellent. The men shall have a grand time in Paris then." replied the general with a smirk. "Coffee?" asked the general, offering a mug.
"No, thank you, sir, I must report back to the High Command immediatly."
"Very well. Strength and honor, brother." said the general in farewell.
"Strength and honor." replied the colonel, bowing his head and clenching his right fist to is chest in salute.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Corporal, have you completed your objective as of yet?"
"Yes sir," replyed a young corporal to his sergeant over his communications system. He was a recent graduate of Legionary Training, and eager to spill blood in the name of God and the Emperor.
He was piling up sandbags to form an embankment in his platoon's area of responsability. His Physical Attributes Enhancement System on the VEPR S3 suit he wore helped alot. It took one man only twenty mintutes to fortify a one hundred yard area with sandbags and bags and barbed wire.
The Doom Legionaries were hard at work entrenching themselves around the city. Machinegun and ATGM teams had dug in to prevent enemy forces from breaking out, along with the occasional tank or IFV to provide armored support against the enemy. So far, Sanjeet's forces had offered no challenge, but that would no doubt change soon...

"ALRIGHT!!! GO ahead!"
"Doomingsland soldiers have surrounded the city."
"WHAT!?"
"I told you earlier that it was life and death, but you pushed me aside."
"Jesus christ. We're fortified a little bit, right?"
"Yes. We're fortifyign more heavily now and I'v put in a call for Sanjeet to come."
"How many cna he brign with him?"
"One million. More will arrive every once in a while. He's got like Ten million coming here in total."
"Alright, we jsut need to survive till then. How long?"
"Less than a week."

When GE had a civil war and abandoned Mozambique we took the bottom half. Therefore whatever small damage we did was in Mozambique. We control Mozambique and have since fixed all the damages and made it better. Seeing as you don't control Mozambique we have not harmed anything of yours and done no damage to you so we therefore owe (sp?) you nothing. It wasn't our decision to betray you, we never committed war crimes, and we didn't commit genocide."

Outside Paris
The same colonel that just an hour earlier arrived with orders from the High Command once again walked up the ramp door into General Lucius' command vehicle.
"General." he muttered, saluting his superior.
"Colonel." replied the general, looking up from his console and returning the salute. "What news do you bring me?"
"The infidel called Sanjeet is mobilizing. He will arrive in less than a week. He's bringing a million men with him and has plenty more where that came from." replied the colonel in a most serious tone. This recieved a laugh from Lucius.
"A million men? And how does he plan on supplying a million men?" he chuckled. "They are most likely cannon fodder types, with the occasional Dino thrown in. They won't be hard. Remember, an army marches on its stomach." he replied with a slight smile. "Well, this DOES complicate things just a bit, so we'll have to commence the assault today. Are preparations complete?"
Yes, sir. The men are standing by for your go."
"Alright, then. Give the go." the general replied simply.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sir, we've recieved orders for a fire mission." said the corporal in the radio tent of the battery of three M270 MLRSs.
"Oh? General Lucius is begining the assault?"
"Indeed, sir. Here are the coordinates." replied the corporal, handing the lieutenant in charge a slip of paper.
"Very well. Prepare to commence fire. Cluster munitions."
"Yes, sir."
Within a few minutes, the crews had retreated into their vehicles and sealed the doors. They then imputted the correct coordinates, a tank park. Within a few seconds of that, the rockets began to go off, streaking into the skies towards the tank park. Each missile was loaded with twelve IR guided top attack submunitions, armed with specialized kinetic energy warheads that would fire off as soon as the munition was roughly three feet above the target. This was actualy enough to pierce the top armor of the mighty RM-30 (now totaly replaced in the Doomingsland inventory by the newer M29A2 Arbiter). From that battery came roughly forty missiles, making for well over one hundred submunitions.
Roughly fifty MLRS systems total launched a variety of munitions on infantry and armor that was out in the open.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finnaly, the main assault came.
Lt. Marcus Decius sat in the commander position of his M29A2 Arbiter main battle tank, designating targets for his gunner. He and his platoon of three other MBTs was attached to an infantry company, who stayed crouched behind the line of MBTs. They sat roughly two kilometers from the building farthest out in the city, and prepared their bombardment.
The four MBTs started off with a quick volley of 120mm HEAT rounds from their ETMAS main cannon, leveling the block of buildings along the outskirts of the city. Slowly they began to move forward, their infantry attachment marching behind the tanks...
This scene was played over and over again with over 150 main battle tanks around the city.
As that happened, the mechanized infantry section immediatly made their incursion. 2,400 infantrymen mounted in three hundred Gladius IFVs surged forward from the embankments under the cover of mortar and artillery barrages, leveling the first buildings. They would immediatly come driving down the streets at 55mph, strafing enemy positions with their 25mm electro-thermal automatic cannons. Once they encountered a dug in building, the infantry would dismount, and, under the cover of their IFV, proceed to enter the building and clear it of any threats.

The time has come. Markus ordered his work to be done and Borneric soldiers flooded over the border into Syria. Massive missile strikes and bombings removed any serious threat to Borman superiority. It was more of a march to conquer the nation as Markus’ soldiers made their way to the capital.

The aide ran down a cobble path to a big fortified building at the center of the town. Multiple guards stood around the building, especially by the doors and windows. On the aide’s approach they parted and allowed him entry.
“Sir, here are the reports.”
The aide threw down a manila envelope onto Hagan’s desk; full of information on the Jadon and his army that was setting themselves to siege the city.
“Excellent.”
Hagan went through them as the aide left the tent, pleased that he was gaining favor with Hagan every day.
As Hagan started coming to the information needed to plan a surprise attack on Jadon’s camp the alarms sounded; Jadon was attacking.
---------------------------------------------------------
Sergeant James West was asleep on his bed in one of the houses on the border of the town, right behind the defenses. When the ear shattering alarm sounded he jumped out of bed, already clothed. He grabbed his weapons and anything that he could not have slept with and hustled out to the defenses.
He ran towards one of the guns mounted on the sandbag wall, they could always use extra eyes. As he approached the gun the man who was using it suddenly stepped backwards with his hands to his neck. His ankle bent and he twisted around towards James. His two hands, applying as much pressure as they were, could not stop the flow of blood coursing out of his neck. It shot out of the cracks in his fingers and flooded out the sides. He stumbled a bit before falling before James, dead.
James put aside his disgust and ran up to the gun. As he took hold of it and started firing other soldiers were coming to their positions. The tank came to life and offered cover for those men still not at the defenses; they could easily run up behind them and be sheltered from bullets.
As men dropped down next to him and began to open fire with their weapons he squeezed down the trigger of the mounted gun. He swung from side to side, delaying in areas based on how much movement he saw there.
The moon’s light was not enough, and that was well known by Hagan. The massive floodlights he had set up incase of a night attack soon hummed on and shed light all over the advancing force, coming in from three sides. Those lights that were foolishly put out in the open or not well hidden were quickly shot up and manually turned off.
-------------------------------------------------------
Captain Haerln Maustaink dropped to the ground and brought out his sniper rifle. He steadied himself and aimed at the end of the man wildly swinging the automatic gun.
“Come on Haerln, shoot him so we can charge.”
“Hold on, this rookie is just swinging the gun around and making a pretty hard target of himself.”
In a matter of seconds James swung his head right into the crosshairs, and Haerln pulled his trigger. Through the scope he could see the head explode in a torrent of blood, skull, and brain. Fragments of the man splattered on his companions. One of them quickly made a move to man the now empty gun, and he too ended up like James.
Under the cover of Haerln’s sniper fire the group of soldiers charged the defenses. The turret of a Bhalk-34 rotated to take care of them, but the shot of a CD101.5 stopped it. The group charged forward, assuming that the only defenses were the visible ones that the soldiers were taking defense behind. The lead man took a step on a shallow ditch made to look level with the rest of the ground; unfortunately it had a stake shoved into it. The wood tore through his leg as he fell and then screamed in pain. His companions rushed by him, knowing anyone who would stop to help him would die, as he soon did.
The man now in the lead jumped just in time to avoid a bullet by his feet. With a little fear in his step he picked up the pace, and ran straight onto a mine. His body exploded in a flash of light and dirt as shrapnel rained down on the men. The ever-thinning group began to come towards the line of trenches in front of the barbed wire and the sandbags. The first one was way to big to jump and most of the people who did make it here were shot as they made their way into it. The few who survived jumped out and made their way to the next one, and a grenade and a swing of the gun ended them all.
----------------------------------------
The defenses and the fire of the tanks soon defeated the futile attack. As the men retreated Hagan started his plan for a counter attack.

Tierius’ men had been battling Belarus soldiers since the first Belarus incident. The soldiers sent against Tierius or sent to defend against him kept getting slaughtered. Tierius men kept killing anything coming at them and slowly advancing. Belarus recently took every soldiers they could get and put it on the current border, more than a third into their country. They had neglected the fact that the two countries on their side were allied to Borman, and would allow Borman’s soldiers to pass through.
A force of several million had made their way through Kyleralia and was sweeping into Belarus from the right side. Most of the soldiers almost at the border with Tierius’ main force were quickly called back to fight this. The current border thus received few reinforcements and continued to be push back.
--------------------------------------------------
Fields between Slutsk and Minsk:
The line had been forced back to the fields roughly halfway between Minsk and Slutsk, which had fallen.
The only defenses the line currently had was the armor they had left and a small ditch they had dug. At the moment the enemy forces were just coming into sight with binoculars. Soldiers worked fervently to dig their trench deeper.
“Come on, we can do this!”
“SHIT!”
The sudden cry from one of the soldiers, now having completely dropped his stuff and running back, drew the attention of the commander. He looked at the enemies to see a black sky descending from them towards them. This was no strange approach of night, this was aircraft.
“GET READY FOR BOMBING!”
Before they could get ready B-squared bombers were flying over them, showering them with ordinance. Dirt, blood, and more flew everywhere. What little armor was left was hit hardest, smoldering wrecks with no one climbing out. The bombers turned around and went for another fly over, once more showering the Belarus’ soldiers with flaming hell.
The slowly approaching line of tanks was moving at a very slow pace, as soon as the bombers started heading back the tanks kicked it and went to maximum speed; flying towards the Belarus’ soldiers. Soldiers began running off en masse. Commanders tried to make men stay, and then tried and organized retreat, but in the end they too just abandoned their stuff and ran off.
By the time Tierius’ men made their way to the trench it was completely abandoned. They followed the retreating remnants of the defense and killed any they could. They were approaching Minsk when they got the last of them.
-------------------------------------------------
On the eastern front the force had penetrated deep before the reinforcements even met up, let alone began defensive action. Finally as Tierius men were nearing them the last force of Belarus’ soldiers had made their defensive preparations for the coming wave. But the defenses did little.
Artillery and bombing ripped up the defenses and Belarus soldiers as Tierius men charged the Belarus’ soldiers, and launched an attack at the back and right flank of the line with soldiers from the main force. The Belarus men were destroyed, utterly and totally.
Tierius’ men then broke off into two groups. One with almost all the men in the force, which made their way north to solidify their hold on the rest of the country, and the rest which went to take Minsk.
-------------------------------------------
“Hello, I’m Aisa Llbright. Jadon launched an attack on Hagan today, to be repelled and have a small counter attack launched, which he in turn repelled. In Belarus Tierius men have picked up the pace and take control of the country. The capital is in their hands, the leader dead, and Tierius’ soldiers have made sure Belarus’ knows it’s Borman now. Then with little surprise Tierius men spilled into Lithuania, smashing through small defenses set up to hold back an attack. The generals who were working in the middle-east have changed targets and are heading to different places of the country to gain support. More updates as they come.”
