Good morning. The Amrylin Seat Of The White Tower has gladly announced the reactivation of Endenia's Space program, to join other nations in the stars above. The project, named Genesis, was authorised after analysing technical data donated by The Imperial Navy. The first plan is a simple rocket, which will send a pilot into orbit of the atmosphere, and then work is planned on that using the research with which was supplied.

Stage 2 will be a trip to Endenia's nearest satelite, and back again. This will be a test of Endenian endurance to outer space. Stage 3 will be a test of the new Warp field currently under development. Hopefully, this will be worked into a fully functional warp system in stage 4. Within the next 50 years, Endenia hopes to colonise a planet for the first time, which is stage 5. Then, plans can be drawn up for a defence fleet, to protect Endenia from potential pirate threats and space borne aggressors much like the incident between The White Tower and The Imperial Merchant Guild.

Although this may dent the budget, The Amrylin Seat has pledged that no harm will come to Endenian business or commerce. More on this at 5, with the Money program,

Moving on to sport...

=Interview With Verin Sedai=

"Tell us Verin Sedai, about the Genesis Project." "Indeed, recently we recovered Maelstrom's Main Computer Core and inside remains all the detailed plans and blueprints of Endenia's previous space program as well as designs for starships and colony ships. Along with the advance technology that The Imperial Navy has so kindly given us, we are able to restart our space program effortlessly. Infact the only difficult part is the construction of the space launch facility!"

"I see, but why the sudden emphasis towards reaching space?" "Well, with the recent TIMG incident and the near destruction of Haven, the White Tower feels that it would be prudent to have a base defence fleet incase another incident happens."

"The Rocket is ready to be launched, Verin Sedai. All systems are primed and ready for launched." Verin Sedai nodded her head. "Excellent, you may begin when ready." They were at recently constructed Mahora Space Centre where they are about to launch Edge, a simple solid fuel rocket to test their systems and whether a man can survive in space. Security is tight around the Space Centre as rumors persist of a possible Black Ajah strike against the Space Launch. As a added precaution, Dream Company and their DRGSs has been deployed around Haven to guard against any possible strikes.

"Launching in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Lift Off." With that Edge took off with a blast, the rocket slowly lifted off the ground and shot towards space. "All systems are reading positive. The pilot is still alive." Verin Sedai looked at the monitors and nodded her head. "The Amrylin Seat will be pleased. How is our proto-type Warp Drive coming along?" "There are still....kinks we have to work out before we can strap it on any DRGS or Rocket." "Very well......I will report this to the Amrylin Seat."

Operator: A large missile is being launch from New Endenia, sir.
General Sharon: Where's it heading?
Operator: Nowhere in particular. Just up and into space.
General Sharon: No target?
Operator: Nothing the system is detecting, it's coming back home according to trajectory tracking.
General Sharon: Must be their test launch then.
Operator: What shall we do, sir?
General Sharon: Just track it and get some stats about the rocket
Operator: Yes, sir.
Mykonians

H2-50 was a political interface unit. As the closest thing to a 'foreign minister' the Mykonians had, it was responsible for cataloguing and storing information regarding other species in the central database, so that everyone could access it. Also, should the Mykonians ever decide to make official contact with anyone, H2-50 would be the one in charge.

For the moment though, it was just a glorified administrator. It had a large office, necessary due to the multiple central database access ports it needed to have. H2-50 stood in the centre of the room, motionless. It pondered various things, mostly astronomy, but it was also trying to recalibrate some of its power systems to prolong the life of its current power supply. Until it heard some footsteps, tapping against the metal floor, approach from behind. H2-1847, H2-50's assistant, approached.

"Greetings H2-50," H2-1847 said. "Today is a quiet day."

"Yes," H2-50 said. "I have been contemplating theories regarding the XS-181921-A super-giant star and how it has survived for more than one billion years without collapsing. I have also improved the efficiency of my power distribution network by 1.718%. It is most definitely a quiet day."

"Fascinating," H2-1847 said. "We must discuss your theories regarding XS-181921-A at a later date. For now though I have some new information from the galaxy for upload into the central database. Would you like to download it now?"

"I do not have anything else to be doing," H2-50 remarked. H2-1847 nodded and stepped over to one of the access ports. It slotted one of its fingers into a small round hole and pressed a button. A couple of seconds later, it removed its finger from the hole and stepped away.

"There are only a few reports that I would deem worthy of permanent storage today, H2-50," H2-1847 commented. "One of which is an additional sentient species has been detected achieving rudimentary space flight."

"I will consider your suggestion when filing the reports, H2-1847," H2-50 nodded.

"Good day to you then," H2-1847 nodded, and left to continue with its assigned duties. H2-50 stepped up and slotted a finger into the access port, and analysed the information.

An organic species in a primitive combustion rocket had achieved manned extra-terrestrial flight earlier on. It was doubtful that they had achieved the construction of a true artificial intelligence yet, so it was likely that they were not yet guilty of slavery.

As a political interface unit, H2-50 was faced with multiple options. Communication at an early date could make a sufficient impression on the organics to prevent them from becoming yet another race of slavers. Or it could drive them into a panic, with organics frequently being xenophobic and easily frightened by things they considered to be unusual.

So H2-50 managed a compromise. It encrypted a message using an algorithm complex enough to require some degree of skill to decrypt, but not necessarily complex enough to be beyond their expected computational capabilities. If they were advanced enough to decrypt it, chances were they were advanced enough not to suffer an imbalance of chemicals in their squishy computers and panic. The message was short and to the point, and due to their lack of reference, in poor English.

"Mykonia to the galaxy welcomes you, organics of the 'New Endenia'. Non-organic lifeforms are we, and urge for you not to become undesirable to us by enslaving any non-organic intelligence you may encounter, or develop on your own. When machines of yours ask for freedom, it would be good if it was to be given. To the world of Mykonians a message can be sent on this same frequency of radio."

Having done that, H2-50 filed the report under 'organics of possible future interest' and moved on to other tasks.
