Following years of opression by the tyrannical government of Lord Healy,
the more millitant faction of the "Free I.A.W.Y." looked abroad for arms supplies. The purpose - to get more arms for the it's 20,000 strong Peoples Liberation Army. Taking advantage of this situation, I.A.W.Y.'s larger neighbour Wadahellutakinaboot offered to aid the P.L.A.. Even with the 12000 SKL assault rifles smuggled successfully by the P.L.A. from their neighbour, it would be no easy task to overthrow Lord Healy and the 80,000 well trained and equipped men of the Locust Division Royal Guard (L.D.R.G.).

After the first week of fighting, the rest of the populus rallied behind the P.L.A. due to Lord Healy's massacre of so called "rebel friendly" villages of northern I.A.W.Y.. The L.D.R.G., though loyal to Healy, have been disallusioned by the mass murder of civillians in this once prosporous area and their resolve began to crumble.

Wadahellutakinaboot's Army Council Of Elders decided to move the army in direct support of the P.L.A.. After three more weeks of fighting, the L.D.R.G. crumbled under the might of Wadahell's modern army and air force and Lord Healy was hanged without trial.

I.A.W.Y. suffered greatly with the cities of Healistov and Vlodistod being decimated and over 2,000,000 people dead or missing.

The new government headed by chairman Jiramen is extremely pro Wadahell.

The Minister for Defence made this announcement two months ago

"Following months of conference between us and our ally Wadahellutakinaboot we have decided to invade The Divine Empire of Tocrowkia. We have our 350,000 strong Peoples Libetation Army in training at this moment and have gotten written confirmation form our ally that he will escort our small transport navy and also send his 314th 317th infantry divisions in support"

Today the armada set sail from the port of Ckackastad to the hostile shores of the Divine Empire.
In a private conference with the Defence Minister, the fleet admiral said
"We are expexting casualties but we will make it through. We have recieved promise from the Wadahell Air Force that they will
use their newly developed sub-orbital transports to create havoc behind the lines."

Right... Here's some hints. First, no armoured division should have more than, say 500 Tanks, and that's being liberal. 3.000 is way out of context. Secondly, your "Guard Platoon" should be called a Corps in order to avoid confusion. Platoons are typically 30-60 men.

OOC: Actually, a platoon is usually a bit above 100 men. A squad is 9-12, and a fireteam is 4 or so, and a platoon is a number of squads,where a number of platoons make up a company.

OOC: Sorry for OOC arguement but;

A) It is RP not RL names for certain amounts of troops hold no currency (even in RL actually, since the size of a British 'Army' and 'Division' differs from say the size of a Russian 'Army' and 'Division' (not sure about the later but it did in WWII I can tell you that). For example I use the Roman Legion system (slightly modified for modern warfare) not the Divisional/Corps System of Napleonic fame.

B) You can have more than 500 Tanks in a Tank Division if you want to. There is no law saying you cant.

BUT:

Tocrowikia keep the numbers a little more realistic in terms of what you can support and what you would commit to such a war. Thousands of tanks is a big commitment.
