CANADIAN GRENADIERS ACTIVATED

OTTAWA- Today, in a military parade commerating Republic Day, the 1st Division of the newly formed Canadian Grenadiers marched in the parade. These new elite troops, trained in the wilds of Northern Quebec and Labrador for months on end, will form the crack units of the East Canadian Army. Prime Minister Graves lauded their creation, stating it is a great example of what Canadians can do.

The Prime Minister's wife is pregnant.

OTTAWA- At a press conference today, Prime Minister Graves announced that his wife Mai is pregnant. He said he and his wife are proud that they will be parents, and that they would seek to raise their child "as damn well as we can," said the PM. Prime Minister Graves also announced that he would be taking time off as needed to support his wife.

Sitting in his office after a long day of work, President Darkaxe was flipping channels mindlessly. Then on the international channel it showed a clip from the East Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It announced the creation of an elite corps of troops in their military. The camera showed a military parade.

Smiling softly to himself he called it a night and retired. Knowing that someday he would get to see these elite troops in action, he slept peacefully although filled with anticipation.
