Now before you say any thing , the craft just uses the FRAME of a mod tech air craft the specs are totally different ,and its has trek based technology any way )

IC: Because of new threats and the desire for a more versatile advanced fighter , the federal union introduces the SF-35 join tactical fighter . the estimated project cost will be about 20.8 Trillion federal dollars , and each fighter will cost 60 Billion each .. because of there advanced technology (btw the SFB variant is the tactical fighter it carries extra weps and is slower)

You should come up with a better design. Space fighters don't really need wings and stabilizers. Also, take it easy on the Star Trek specs, as they aren't commonly used anymore. Aside from that, it's rather decent. You've got very good stats.

They don't really need air intakes either, I'd suspect.

Actually, it probably should keep the intakes. Depending on your fighter bays, it may have to power up in the hangar, so why waste rocket fuel? Use standard jet fuel for takeoff, landing, and manuvering in the hangar.

Space fighters don't really need wings and stabilizers.

They do if they're going to attack ground targets. The whole atmosphere thing you know.

That is what makes it a good versatile fighter, the ability to be used in atmoshpere and in space. If my country had the cash on hand, or was future tech I would be interested.

Very nice specs TFU, cept 4 trillion is alot for anything that isn't like..super-capital class :P I could understand something like 60 billion, you should tone down the price, that way you'll be able to produce more, even with space tech. :-) Just some friendly advice, you can do with it what you wish. o,..,o
