Newsflash
The Empire of Certe tested it's Hammer Mark 1 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. The test was, according to one Certe military specialist, "A complete success."
The Hammer Mark 1 is a long-rang missile, with a range of 1,200 kilometers. Currently it is designed to carry a 10-ton high explosive charge to it's target. As of yet Certe does not have nuclear weapons, but is reported to be working on them.
The test firing was conducted from an unidentified missle site somewhere in central Certe. THe target was an unused bunker complex on a small island about 1,000 km away. An observation ship, carrying several high-ranking military staff, as well as President-for-Life Bestron. The missile reportedly came down within a kilometer of the target, causing a large explosion.
Bestron hailed the test as Certe's chance to advance further into the modern world and establish itself as a majo player on the world stage.
