The Greater the Pride the Greater the Fall (Invite RP)

OOC: This is an Invite only RP, feel free to display your diplomatic feelings however, support pledged to Alan in the form of weapons/supplies (you’re not going to somehow smuggle MBT’s in there). If you want to get involved in a more active way feel free to TG Alan or myself, we will discuss it and let you know ASAP.

This should be a long Vietnamesque RP, with a lot of guerrilla style battles between Guild forces and Alan ‘Revolutionaries’ (as I will refer to them).

IC:

It had been a stressful week for the Guild Military with The True Way of the Alan commitment, the announcement would come soon that the Guilds was to declare Alan a Protectorate and effectively annex it into the Guilder Empire. The military and security institutions of the Guilds were in organised chaos with such a surprise announcement, which indicated massive new responsibilities for the Imperial Guilder Military as well as for the Knights of Saint Peter, who would have millions of Alan citizens to chip and to control furthermore the Inquisition was already preparing massive stocks of wood for the inevitable burnings, which would take place in the Alan homeland as they were forced to serve the Guilds and the Church or die in a myriad of horrible ways.

Heavy Black ‘Doombringer’ Planes and ‘Swirl’ Transport Helicopters had already begun on their way bringing the first few waves of Guild Legionnaire’s to the Alan. A total of 10 Legions had been earmarked for the control of the Alan, 5 Infantry to mop any organised resistance and 5 Security Legions with which to begin the rounding up of the Intellectuals and Leaders of the Alan. They would then be handed over to the Knights of Saint Peter, the Leaders would be slaughtered unless they pledged their loyalty to the Emperor on pain of their entire families deaths, the Intellectuals would simply be given a choice of working for the Guilds or having them and their families tortured horribly to death by the Knights of Saint Peter. Nobody would defy the Church and the Emperor, especially not the Alan, already the creeping arrogance of the Guild forces had started to affect them, after all were they not the chosen of God?

Hundreds of Knights of Saint Peter and Knights Templar were getting ready for the occupation of Alan by the Guild forces; they would bring the iron grip of Imperial rule of the Alan with a vengeance. Master Inquisition Ceres Victoria would head the Inquisitions presence in the Alan, being a protégé of the Grandmaster of the Inquisition, Alucard Dracul, and great things were expected of her.

The campaign as a whole was expected by Guild Military Planners to be short and bloody, they didn’t expect to have to use any heavy troops in this brief campaign, where the anarchic Alan would be brought under total Imperial Domination.

The announcement would be made only after Guild troops had landed in strength, and were ready to launch the whirlwind campaign. In view of this an Airborne Legion had been allocated as a reserve should the troops need it, they weren’t expected to.

Lt. Comdr. Diego Bahr quietly watched on his closed circuit television as the Guilder forces landed. He knew that most of the people would welcome them and all the "Intellectuals" would pledge to obey the new "protectorate gov't". He ordered his men to pack all their belongings and weapons, and to get into their APC's. His men had nothing to leave behind. No wives, no children, no nothing. With ammo and guns boxed up, Lt. Comdr Bahr led the Holy Guard of the Republic of The True Way of Alan into the heavily wooded mountian range of the Alanian Mountains...To the caves and tunnels codenamed 'Guerilla Strike'. The word was put out through all secure lines that the army was to stand down and not incur unneccesary casulties. Bahr decided he needed to go to Sthyxia. Maybe get some allies. Yes that was it. He ordered the fastest plane ready and an hour later he and two guards set out to Sthyxia. Of course in a roundabout way. It would do no good to get caught by the Guilders.

OOC: Note to readers, the Alan post will come after this chronologically.

IC:

Location: The True Way of Alan, Guilder Temporary Headquarters and Main Landing Area.

Huge Black Aircraft thundered in and out of the temporary runway and base from which Guild troops were operating, troops carrying ammunition and weapons jogged out of Aircraft whilst being barked at harshly by their Centurion's and Optio's, Century Standards were held high above the columns and the arriving troops didn't look very tired. Some of the younger troops were raring to go this was their first campaign and they wanted to shoot some Alan before it was all over.

Beside the troops walked columns of Knights of Saint Peter, all in their Black uniforms with their jackboots crunching down on the vegitation, they carried their weapons with them. They would soon begin the purification of the Alan by any and all means open to them.

Way beyond the Guild base the first two Legions to arrive had fanned out and were approaching the Capital City of the Alan, were the airfield was based near. They would take the Capital and proclaim Guild rule from there.

There was an almost jovial mood in the Infantry as they approached the suburbs of the city, they were spread out into offensive lines, the eight units of Bright Star Light Vehiciles were spread out in front of the two Legions long formation with their Howitzers and Anti-Tank guns being towed behind by Halftracks. Other halftracks followed a distance behind with additonal supplies in their bellies, just in case. Even the Legates and their Tribunes in the Command Vehicles appeared not too concerned about the prospect of taking an entire city. After all what could a city do against them if it wasn't prepared let alone having the political will to resist them.

Then came the announcement...

A statement was issued by the Imperial Senate and approved by the Emperor:

Due to an unstable political regieme and situation in The Truy Way of Alan, we in God's Mercy will be welcoming the Alan into the Guilder Empire as of Midnight this evening. Any whom resist Guild forces will be deamed to be 'Revolutionaries' and Heretics, they will be treated accordingly.

The Senate Vote on this was 372 For and 29 Against.

We welcome The True Way of Alan to the Empire.

For God and the Emperor,

Criticus Zabic,
Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Emperor,

Now the Alan would know the truth behind the Guilds 'Peacekeepers'...

Quietly the black clothed men slipped through the city. They were waiting for the Guilder's to come downt the road. They had already mined the road and were going to cross fire the troops as they were disabled

In Tru'Alan Capital of the True Way of Alan,

Announcement By Interim Government;

Due to the recent rebellion and lack of political ability to resolve this issue, we hearby order all able-bodied men to use all means at their disposal to eradicate and drive off the invaders. They have come hostile to Alanian territory. Lt. Comdr. Bahr is on his way to negotiate a treaty. we refuse to captulate to the invaders! May they burn in Hell! All civilian are advised to cooperate with the Guilders.

OOC: Give numbers Alan.

IC:

The Guilder troops began fanning out in Tru'Alan capital, they would go carefully through the city. The 11,000 troops of the two Legions expected little organised resistance but wouldn't put it past a few die hard loyalists to attempt to cause mayhem with their troop deployments.

The Guilds adopted the classic Guild way of taking a city, the 100 105 mm Howitzers of the two Legions were unlimbered outside the city and placed in positions ready to fire should any organised resistance suddenly appear. They were guarded by three Centuries of Infantry left behind by the Legions to stop any sallys in case of them occuring. Ammuniton boxes on the halftracks were opened and High Explosive, Cannister and Chemical shells were arrayed in lines ready for specific fire missions. The 'Moranth' supply halftacks waited behind the Artillery, the light machine guns mounted on each manned and ready for any sort of trouble.

The rest of troops bar the Anti-Tank gunners whom waited with the Artillery in that defensive area, advanced into the suburbs of Tru'Alan by Century the lead elements taking some of shelter behind the 'Bright Star' Light Vehicles. The rest of the units were following at evenish distances behind occasionally furrowing into dwellings, shops and offices looking for any resistance. They were on orders to be on their best behaviour so any people they find were not raped, robbed and/or enslaved as was the usual Guild way of dealing with conquered populations.

The Legates far back as they were in the lines of advance were advancing with the Tribunes and their guard Centuries into the City, well behind the spearhead units of course and in their Command Vehicles large tracked vehicles known as 'Cleo's' by the troops with a reasonable amount of armour attached to them.

The objective of the advance was to take the Capital and the Capitol Buildings of the Capital. They would plant the Legions Standards on the roof of the Buildings.

Behind them in the main Guild base, the other Legions, more supplies and clerks and other Governmental personnel were arriving. They would occupy The True way of Alan and run it according to Guild Governmental principles.

OOC: Whoops! Numbers were 8 for the ambushers in the house.

IC: Grenz watched out the palace window as troops approched. He looked at his six guards around him. "Give me one of your pistols," Grenz ordered. "We don't go down with out a fight."

Somewhere in the Alanian Mountians:

The Holy Guard has set up defensive perimeters and were razing trees to create killing grounds and booby-trapped roads. Men from the city were arriving bit by bit and were taking down into the lower carverns to be outfitted and trained. At the moment there were only about 2,100 men there. Only half army trained. There was no earthly way that the Alanian army could defeat the Guilders head on. This would be a war of sniper attacks, car bombs, and terror tactics.
The Merchant Guilds

OOC: Your defending against around 9,000-10,000 troops with 8 men?

IC:

The Forward units advanced reasonably slowly with the troops making sure that each building looked clear and leaving the following units to actually perform the business of clearing the buildings for explosives and any fighters.

The Doomingsland designed weapons the Guilders carryed loaded with Agent Injection ammunition, were extremely deadly and even when they hit a wall would leak poison out of the bullethole. Guilder soldiers also carried magazines of High Explosive and Standard Hollowpoint bullets, in their webbing. This was part of the reason the Imperial Guilder Military was so feared, it used Chemicals gallore and all sorts of werid and wonderful anti-personnel weapons.

The Black Vehicles advanced further on getting closer to the Imperial Palace, the century of Infantry behind them scuttling from behind the vehicles to cover ever chance they got. They didn't trust this vissage of peace... despite the Legates assurances...

Many of the Troopers hadn't seen action before but had been put through the brutal training camps the Guild's operated meaning they were at least a little inured to warfare as a whole. They were certainly jitterly and liable to fire at anything, which looked suspicious...

The spire of the Imperial Palace loomed even closer...

OOC: Ok, the eight men were a small group of soldiers going to ambush you. In the mountians, men are gathering to resist. The Pres. ordered the army to stand down. So at last count the restance force measured 4,100 and rising.
Got it??

IC: As the Guilder forces rolled past, the men in the building slid up to the window and waited for the signal. One ma pulled a grenade pin and tossed it down. With that all eight opened fire into the Guilder forces. They knew they would die, but at least some of the infernal Guilder's would die also. "For The True Way of Alan" one yelled.

A rain of small arms fire rained down on a spearhead unit near the palace, 7 personnel fell to the ground with injuries ranging from a bullet through the neck to a finger shot off... the bleeding to death included the Century's Centurion.

The Century's Clerk ducked and dived over between the now firing Guilders, when he reached the Centurion he began fumbling in one of his webbing pouches for his first aid kit and scissors to try and get the bullet out.

Others in the Century began without orders to open up on the openings where the fire was coming from, plastering the openings with bursts of rounds... where the bullets hit the walls poison oozed menacingly out of them... a sure sign of things to come.

The 'Bright Star' Light Vehicles began cranking their turrets round, and began pumping higher calibre rounds from their machine guns and the occasional round from their light guns, with a loud crump.

The hail of fire was only intensifying and if you had looked down the street you would have seen several centuries heading towards the Spearhead to relieve it and deal with the attackers...

The hail of fire was only intensifying and if you had looked down the street you would have seen several centuries heading towards the Spearhead to relieve it and deal with the attackers...

The men in the building had no intention of being captured. Two had fallen to the Guilder fire already, but had been put of their pain by their comrades.
The men slowly began to retreat back down the stairs, but heard step coming up. The leader looked around, and as everyone nodder, he set down his backpack and attached the necessary wires to activate the bomb. The lights blinked...10..9..8..7..6..5.. "Good-bye Comrades"..2..1..

As the supporting Century's arrived on the scene proper, a large explosion blew out the windows of the building... well what was left of the windows after having been raked by Guild bullets...

The explosion showered the street with rubble injuring 5 more Guild troopers, one seriously. Guild troops began quickly picking themselves up from the dust and rubble, some were slower than others and looked a little dazed.

All around units linked in asking for an update, they were told to keep advancing and to take anyone suspicious into custody for the murder and assault on Guild Forces.

Guild forces began picking up the injured and the dead, while most of the personnel were advancing towards the Palace... they would be looking to capture these insurgents and to ask questions of those in the Palace...

Grenz looked one last time at his guards. "This is your last chance to leave if you want. I don't expect any of you to stay."
The guards just looked down at thier guns and made sure that they were loaded.

Alanian Mountains:

The ARF (Alanian Resistance Force) was prepareing for their first strike against the Guilder Forces.
"All right, since Lt. Comdr. Bahr is gone at the moment, I'm in charge." Richard Willis was a career soldier who had been in the Holy Guard longer than any other. "What we want to do is hit the Guilder forces in the city. Now, I want you all to remember that if someone near you is hit by a Guilder bullet, that you should shoot them right away. Guilder bullets are poison. All, right lets go."

OOC: As of the moment, the ARF number about, 31,000. They are seperating into what are called AMPs. (Alternitive Movement Personnal). They (the AMPs) are going back to homes and cities and keeping tabs on Guilder Forces to plan attacks from the Alanian Mountians.

Besides, it will give you more motive...

IC:

The crisp morning air felt stiff and unmoving far more than normal, this pall atmosphere had dominated the nation of The True Way of Alan ever since that fateful day a month ago. It rolled over the grassy fields and the rolling hills leading up to the mountain range, where active resistance was growing. The Guilders had hardly noticed it as yet it seemed, their troops and personnel were carrying out the usual tasks that the Emperor and the Imperial Senate commanded that they perform in the Emperor’s and the Church’s name.

Fear hung over the Alan, ever since their leaders had invited the Guilds, a nation they had just met in Sythxia to send peacekeepers and they had arrived. The Guilders, those Devils in Black had conquered and swept all before them, rumours abounded in the populace of growing resistance groups in the mountains. Many of the more patriotic members of the population had slunk off to join the resistance… some homes had been deserted over night, in reality you couldn’t tell who had been taken by the Knights of Saint Peter or the Inquisition or was fighting for the freedom of the Alan people.

The Palace looked dark and foreboding it was the Headquarters of all Guild Operations in Alan, ever since the Guilders had come the killings and the disappearances had begun. Often friends and relatives disappeared only to end up dying slowly on a cross on the Imperial Palace’s walls or burnt alive by the Inquisitors in the Central Square for Pagan beliefs…

That was another thing, a week after the Guilders had come, they had enforced Mass every Sunday to be taken by every member of the population (as well as mass Baptisms), this was overseen by the Guild Legions under the supervision of the Inquisitors, who tortured or burned those who did not attend. Only Guild certified doctors could issue a reprieve from the compulsory attendance. There had been tens of large Auto’s De Fe as the Guilders called them, mass public burning to most people, horrific indeed… there was already large scale attempts to tell the world about what the Guilders were up to.

A week ago a further decree had come from the Emperor and the Imperial Senate dictating that the Alan had three choices, they would make them by their actions.

A) Be loyal to the Emperor and Church, work hard for the Guilders and when rewards were shared out you would not be forgotten and given a piece of land for your troubles on which you could start a reasonably commercially viable farm.

B) Be disloyal to the Emperor and be enslaved for transportation back to the Guilds to be sold as a slave (this also applied to your entire family as well (one of the member of the family was disloyal the entire family would be transported).

C) Serve the Emperor in the newly created ‘Alan Free Legions’, you would be granted pardon for any previous offences (as well as your family, but not from future offences) and be eligible for all the benefits allocated to all members of the Guilder Military.

The Guilders had even offered C to the prisoners in Alan’s prisons and penal facilities, many of them had immediately taken this up one time offer, taken the oaths of loyalty to the Emperor and had been transported to facilities in the Guilder Homeland to begin their training. It was rumoured around 30,000 Alan had joined in this recruitment drive from the prisons. Of course, Guilder reasoning was simple; criminals tend to make good soldiers simply by being quite savvy in normal life and un-moralistic.

The people of Alan were not to know the suitable mentally unstable cases from their own prisons and mental illness facilities had even been absorbed by the Guild Military for ‘mental re-programming’ into a side branch of ‘The Sword of Christ’, the Guilder Special Forces, while others had simply either been enslaved or were being transported for use in Medical and Biological experiments in the Guilds vast labs.

There were rumours of Guild soldiers shooting mercilessly several hundred patients in Tru’Alan’s main hospital, whom they considered so degraded that they were worthless individuals… there were also growing rumours of cleansing happening in the myriad of villages and small market towns of the Alan plains from ‘survivors’ coming from the countryside. Apparently they were being totally demolished and their inhabitants being enslaved and being forced to work the land to produce for the Guilder civilization those hundreds of miles away. Of course, there was always some truth to the rumour, these happened to be correct rumours but the Alan wouldn’t have known the difference…

It didn’t help that a 21:00 to 6:00 Curfew was in place all across Alan… the common citizens were yearning to have their old leaders back… many cursed the Intellectuals and other high up’s most of whom worked for the Guilders without questions, hoping to favoured in the only foreseeable outcome… Guilder colonisation of the True Way of Alan.

Only the Black marketeers dared trying to get around in those hours, due to the huge market opportunities for a savvy merchant in these terrible times, a huge black-market had sprung up all across the nation…

All in all, there was simmering fear bordered on terror… what manner of civilisation could produce such monsters…

There were questions too… Why hadn’t the World done something..? Did the World know what was going on or what these bastards were capable of..?

The silent questions proposed by the city’s silence were broken by the increasing growl of engines, which signified Guilder Half-tracks, it was around 6:05 AM and some of the Alan were stirring out of doors, the smell of dawn and of burnt wood in their nostrils…

The half tracks edged into view, they were typically all black… but something was different… there were lines of what looked like people following them… well one would say people… these looked more like relics from some other times, bedraggled and unshaven as they were. As they shambled into view behind the slow moving vehicles, whose crews looked satisfactorily bemused by their charges…

As they came into a clearer point of view, the Alan could no longer mistake what these were… slaves and they weren’t Alan… they came in all colours and creeds… but they shared their degraded appearance if anything else, often with little more than sandals and a dirty loin cloth they walked on (most women wore an dirty piece of sacking) amongst the slaves walked a separate line of children some as young as 3-4, all had the same two lengths of chain linking to their hands and collars around their necks. They were lead by young Guilder’s sharply dressed in Blue and Red overalls bearing the insignia of the Greater Britannia Corporation (renowned as one the greatest legal people trafficking institutions around the globe), they sometimes yanked their chains slightly taking obvious pleasure in the discomfort of their charges.

Behind this long line of degraded humanity came flatbed partly covered trucks carrying packed but well dressed and fed people, who all were attached via cuffs to their seats… Household slaves…

Carrying up the rear came a column of Guild troops on foot flanked by half-tracks…

Alan who had realised what was going on lined the streets silently… watching this macabre parade… some would have felt almost physically sick at this had they not been under the boot for the last month…

The procession proceeded on its way to the Palace gates, where if the Alan had looked there stood centuries of Guild troops lazing on the walls just in case something happened., watching lazily as the procession rolled through the diamond hardened steel gates on the front side of which were two attached cages, with two terrified occupants in each… They were suffering because they had been caught selling Black market goods… but that was another matter. They would soon be beheaded for their crimes… and they knew it…

OOC: Excellent post. I am honored to be RP'ing with you. Mines around a month after too.

IC: The citizens were quiet as night fell. The majority of Alanians had converted from the religion of their fathers to Guilder Christianity. As fathers and relations disappered, many of the Alanians went to find the ARF in the mountains. Already several terror attacks had hit Guilder Barracks and posts, but no major damage had been done. The main goal had been to let the Guilders know that the Alanians would not take this lying down. Richard Grenz, Interim Vice-President had been executed at dawn the day after the invasion had reached the palace. With his death, the population lost most will to fight. People just wanted to be left alone.

In the Alanian Mountains:

Meanwhile, the Resistance forces were not idle. Calls for weapons, bombs, and men went out daily. Anyone who wanted to could find the hideout. But the question was if you would live to reach it. The ARF was not much better then the Guilders in allowing people they didn't trust to live. Plans were being made. Bombs set. A massive attack would come within the week.

OOC: Thank you for your comments, I am not that good to be honest there are far better than me on here. Anyway, I shall get on with the next installment;

I think, now would be pertinent time for the others to get involved in the Mountain areas. Dump and Doom (if they still want in) will fight the main guerilla war in the mountains with yourself, I will cover the Guild actions in the cities and plains. You can sort your allies (Novacom and Red Tide if anyone wishes to know), I suggest one concentrates on my area, while the other two do Spec Ops and Commando RP’s with Dump and Doom. For the person, who will be Rping against me I would suggest doing a Warsaw style uprising sometime… (I.e. most of the civvies won’t be armed with anything than household implements the odd shotgun and Molotov cocktails).

IC:

The two people in the cages on the gates were taken out several days later starved and bruised, they were lead to the Central Square in the City and had their heads severed with a blunt axe by a huge brute of a Guilder Soldier... they screams of agony had silenced a lot of the city for the day... life under the Guilders was terrible indeed.

The high palace walls were pottered with the occasional scratch repair and re-fortification work performed by Guild Military Engineers. On their top sandbagged machine gun nests, anti-aircraft guns/rockets and the standard Guild 120mm Anti-tank guns had been placed. Their barrels and sighting systems sticking out into the crisp air that characterised the True Way of Alan at this time of the year, the strange thing was the Guilders seemed to be lapping it up, in T-shirts and summer uniforms. This was strange to the Alan but they worked out pretty quickly that the Guilders came from a nation of ice and snow.

Guilder troops often-stalked Guilder sanctioned bars and places of the night, looking for easy prey among the local Alan women and many drunken bouts had been caused by Guilder troops fighting with some woman’s husband or relatives. This had more often than not ended in the Guild troopers either disappearing into the night after beating some of the locals senseless or them being caught by the Knights of Saint Peter round up squads, which promptly earned them 50 lashes at the whipping post in the courtyard of the Palace, with the aggrieved locals being let in under guard to see the sentence being carried out. Despite the Guilder troops being lax in their discipline in this respect their Commanders and the Inquisition overlooked this flagrant breach of religion on that aspect, since in the Authorities eyes these man and women were on Crusade against the Heathen… Well they certainly believed they were, thus their excesses could be excused on Religious grounds. Anyway, what were a few dead Alan they were lower beings, not part of God’s chosen nations like Guffingford, The Guilders, Farmina, Doomingsland, Belem and others of God’s Temporal Armies, thus they were scum and the Guild troops and officials treated them as such.

Many an arrogant Guilder soldier or Official had told a local that;

Alan belongs to us now and always, get used to it. Just wait till we get through with you.

In many ways this was true, since the Guilders were wanting to implement Guilder style security measures in the local population as soon as possible, already all new babies, their mothers and any hospital patients when given injections were given a tiny Identity chip into their blood stream, which would allow the Guilder ‘Hand of God’ system to track them at all times and thus ultimately control them.

This system would allow them to the locate any rebels hiding in some of the more rugged countryside as well as profile any rebellious citizens and thus terrorise their families and friends as retribution. The Alan were feeling a pale imitation of internal security, Guilder style…

What’s more the Guilders were stepping up their campaign in the countryside, entire villages were being razed and their populace forced into servitude if they would not agree to give 75% of their crop of the Guilder Authorities at rock bottom rates. They were assured this was entirely temporary and that they would in the end be able to sell their crops at high prices to Guild Corporations and direct consumers. The Guilders of course lied, their farms would be taken over by the Guilder Corporations and they would work for those Corporations or be killed/enslaved, simple as that.

Where the Guilders had struck it was if the settlements had never existed, even mention of them was eliminated from public and newly printed maps, and a systematic campaign to alter Alan’s history to glorify the Guilder conquest had begun. The victims of these atrocities were sent back via the Greater Britannia Corporation to the slave markets of the Subterranean Guilder Cities, some would go to the mines, the more attractive ones would become concubines for wealthy Guilders and one or two lucky ones might even find themselves in the Imperial Slave Corps, directly serving the Emperor and his family.

There was more news for the Alan, because of the True Way of Alan was deemed safe enough to start the Guilder Ten-Point Program, which had been devised by the Imperial Senate and put before the Emperor, where it was duly approved., the program had various sub-text and jargon but it essentially meant the Knights of Saint Peter, the Inquisition and the Imperial Guilder Legions were ordered to eliminate all ‘undesirable’ elements within Alan Society and that Alan’s fertile plains should become the breadbasket of the Guilds. The Senate and Emperor envisioned tens of millions of slaves toiling in Alan producing food and other products for their Imperial Guilder Masters, of course part of the plan was enslaving most of the Alan and turning those useful Alan into Guilders.

The Free Alan Government was to be re-christened the Imperial Allania Government and was to be ruled by a Governor and a series of Pro-Consults selected from the Imperial Diplomatic Corps and the Imperial Administration. The True Way of the Alan was also given a more fitting Guilder name, Allania and the ‘Free Allania Legions’ would wear the shields with the Provincial Flag with the Legion’s Honour name on the cuff band of their imposing black uniforms being manufactured in Guild factories by slaves.

A further appointment was the news that the Heir to the Imperial Throne along with a small contingent from the elite 1st ‘Bridgeburners’ and 2nd ‘Augusta’ , (from whom the ‘Corpus Christi’ the Imperial Bodyguard were handpicked from) would arrive to oversee things there and protect the heir. There were rumours that a very small number of Monks of St. Michael would accompany the Prince as well, even the Knights of Saint Peter with their storm squads and Elimination Units, it was rumoured feared the Monks, which spoke volumes about them. There were rumours that Septimus Augusta despite being regarded Internationally as the only sane one in his family had some interesting plans of his own as regards Allania. But hell if his family was anything to judge the entire of Alan might be wiped out in the aim of testing some new bio-weapon the Guilds had developed on slave and prisoner guinea pigs in the labs.

Besides that the Governor post was being awarded to a retiring Guild General by the name of Marcus Macro, a known Xenophobe as well as a staunch supporter of the ‘Spread the Faith’ Party in the Imperial Senate.

Military Command would be handed to one of the bright sparks and a friend of General Vespasian and General Paran, Quintus Cato probably the youngest General ever in the Imperial Guilder Army (at 24) and keen to impress his worth upon the Emperor and his Heir, here in Allania, especially alongside his old Commander Macro.

Accordingly Guild troop concentrations were increasing

The coming weeks would be interesting, as more slaves and more Military units including 10 full Infantry Legions, 2 Armoured Legions, 1 Commando Legion, Several ‘Sword of Christ’ Units, an Air Legion and two Helicopter Legions were going to arriving in the next weeks… the insurgency would also be smashed by the 2nd Bomber Legion and ‘Special Bomber’ Unit 01, who would attack from their underground bases in the Guilds. The rebellious Alan would be smashed in a large-scale show of Guild Imperial Military Might.

OOC: I've got something in mind but a map of the country would come in handy.

OOC: Yes, it would. Mind knocking something up in Paint, Alan. I am currently working off assumption. All we know is that there's lot of plains, a big mountain range and a few cities.

OOC:OK, here's a map (click) A real world equivalent of the mountain ranges would be the Rockies in USA or the Alps in Europe. Large, rocky, you know. If the map doesn't show up email me and i'll email it to you.

Plans and cells are set for Operation GS. The target is chosen. The men are excited and morale is high. We hope for a glorious death in Alan. For Alan, comrade.

OOC: The ARF is becoming increasingly communistic. My plan is for the True Way of Alan to get out of this battle and become a Communistic Theocracy.
