The United States of WyattLand signed into law today, unexpectedly, a bill that would ban all testing and use of nuclear weapons. This new law also bans the use of ICBM's. In a statement to the press today, President Williams told the media. "It is long overdue for WyattLand to do the right thing, and disarm it's nuclear weapons program."
[Official Iuthian Communique to President Williams of the United States of WyattLand*]
After a short investigtion into the incident we are now dubbing the WyattLand Nuclear Attrocities we feel that we have no choice but to Blacklist your nation until we feel that reparations have been made in full as well as lessons learnt, though the latter will require many years of observation.
We recognised the change in leadership and measures taken against the possibilities of future nuclear attrocities and because of such measures we have deemed that your Embassy staff will not be ejected from Iuthia, but instead be offered a new probationary status in which they will encounter increased security measures taken to ensure our populaces safety.
Our Embassy in Wyattland has been order to withdraw and will be preparing to do so within the next 48 hours, concider this our grace period in order to allow organisation from your side as we understand that these matters cannot be rushed.
The fact our embassies had minor bomb threats were of little concern to us due to the swift action from your own forces, and our own security measured assured our diplomats safety... these matters are not contributing to this descision, however as we feel it's more important to take our moral stand when it comes to matters involving atomics, a strong issue which has much sway within Iuthia...
In anycase we hope that with time your nations displays more wisdom then you have recently, I'm sure the change of leadership will help towards this to some degree,
Thanks,
Foriegn Minister Mick Lakely, Iuthian Diplomatic Corps
* Note that the communique isn't really encoded for the presidents eyes only, any professionals monitoring transmissions will be able to pick it up with easy, meaning this communication is pretty much public domain, clearly the IDC felt that they don't mind others listening in...
