OOC: This is the 2nd thread, seeing as the first one became overwhelmingly confusing with almost 300 posts...so I'm starting it over, along with more requirements. Getting an embassy in Euroslavia will be a little harder than before, since we won't just open an embassy for anyone.

IC: Requirements for an Embassy in Euroslavia: In order for a nation to open an embassy within Euroslavia, we must have proof that the nation in question has not supported any terrorist movement within our country. It is also required that a background check be established to determine the nations' political stance (OOC: I'm gonna look through some of your threads).

Euroslavia requires an area that will allow the establishment of a three story house, to fit every task that each trained embassy specialist is required to take care of. We also require a fair amount of yard, along with it, because we take pride in making sure that our nation is best represented.

Diplomats representing their own nations in Euroslavia will be required to follow every law in Euroslavia, as if this were their own nation. Each diplomat will not be exempt from any sort of law-breaking just because they technically are on their own nations' territory within the embassy. Any action of espionage or efforts of terror within Euroslavia will not be permitted, and actions will be taken against the specific diplomat. Depending on the gravity of the plans, actions may be taken against the nation that is being represented. Expulsion of their diplomats, and possibly their citizens is a possibility, though rare, as well as some sort of political freeze between Euroslavia and said nation.

NOTE: There are a few things that foreigners need to know before coming to Euroslavia, or meeting with Euroslavic embassy workers. First of all, not saying a prayer before a meal is considered sacreligious, and is probably the biggest insult. The last person to sit down at the table is the one to say the prayer.

Red= There are no restrictions on your embassy, meaning troops can be hosted in Euroslavia.

The Isles of Wohlstand is interested in 'swapping' embassies. You can establish one in our country if we can establish one in yours, in basic terms.

In response to the post at the end of the last thread, Pterodactylus would like an embassy somewhere near a scenic mountain/lakeside region (pictures would help) but with good acess to a main road.

You can have pride of place between the Parliament House and the Terra Rail West monorail station, PROVIDED that the embasst building (sp?) is pretty. We DO NOT tolerate ugly buildings in our nation.

As long as it doesn't have to be a Christian prayer, Green Sun requests an embassy in Euroslavia.

The Democratic Peoples Republic of Mekugi would be highly interested in exchanging embassies for the general advancement of both countires and to increase international relations. We accept the regulations for represenetive staff and have no inhibitions in agreeing to those terms.

At the current moment we can reserve a four acre plot west of our capital of Carina for construction of your embassy. We appologize for the small size of such a lot but hope it can fit your needs. Though construction will be have to be delayed till the end of our winter season as the ground is currently frozen solid, though the muddy ground of the rainy season (the OTHER half of the year) is not much easier to work with it atleast prevents a foundation from cracking due to thawing permafrost.

OOC: Considering 90% of my nation is plains that is either frozen or muddy for one half of the year its not exactly the most pleasant place to visit, but it is peaceful, and full of very friendly, hard-working, and intellegent people. And the ability to get alarge pot of land is easy enough meaning you could use it as a non-military outpost, or hell a diplomatic hunting lodge... thats up to you.

IC: We can offer you an embassy plot in the city of Pyrynn, which is located quite close to a mountain range, yet it very easily accessable by any means of transportation.

Green Sun: We are willing to exchange embassies with your nation, however, if you plan on eating at any of our natives' houses, the prayer will be Christian, as Euroslavia still maintains its strong Christian roots.

Mekugi: We accept your offer, and are willing to take the property that you have offered. Normally, we do require a larger area, but seeing as your nation isn't exactly the most fertile nation among the world, we will relax such a requirement.

The fact that we do not know much about your nation distresses us (OOC: You're new, but don't worry about it. I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt.), however, we are willing to negotiate an exchange of embassies with your nation, provided that you are willing to agree to the terms that I have given to each nation with an embassy in Euroslavia.

In regards to following Euroslavia law while on Euroslavian soil, the AK ambassador and embassy staff will comply in an effort to improve relations between our two countries.

Although our Embassies are usually situated in Embassy Square, an additional location in Military Row can be alloctaed for your Embassy so that all your needs can be catered to if the Embassy is set up. There are few restrictions to your Embassy being set up in our nation, and these would be supplied if your nation is interested in doing so.

As for our nations Embassy in your nation, our Ambassadors and staff are required to go through an extensive training and familiarisation program on each new country before being sent there, with information provided by the host nation. My government has expressed a deep interest in enacting an embassy exhange between the states of Novikov and Euroslavia. We feel that the possible opening of diplomatic relations, trade, and even alliances will serve to strengthen both nations involved. We prepose the following terms for an embassy exchange regarding any Euroslavic (sp?) Embassy or Diplomats to be hosted in Novikov, and formally accept all like terms a Novikovian Diplomat or Embassy would be subject to within Euroslavia:

1) All diplomats will be required to abide by all laws governing the people of Novikov, and no diplomatic immunity shall exsist to exempt a said diplomat from the punishment for any crime comitted within Novikov. The Government of Novikov reserves the right at any time to expell any diplomat or citizen of Euroslavia, provided just cause can be found.

2) Euroslavic Diplomats will be housed in the common embassy building located in Poldi'sk, and will be subject to the following requirements of that building:

a) Euroslavia's embassy space will be the same as all other nations within the building, a single 30m x 30m office, with a simmilar lounge area attached. This space is provided free of charge.

b) The communial embassy building will, as always, have extra-territorial rights, seperate from the laws and sanctions of both Novikov and Euroslavia.

c) Defense of the embassy building and all personell inside will be provided by NPM-A troops specially assigned to the task. Private bodyguards will also be allowed, two per diplomat, but weapons sanctions will be placed upon them and all other visiting personell to insure that no weapon may leave the office area of the diplomat it is assigned to protect. We stress that this procedure is only in place to provide security to each nation's diplomats, who are housed under simmilar requirements.

d) All renovation of this embassy building must be carried out under the supervision of Novikov Government contractors, and must be paid for by those governments responsable for the renovation.

3) Euroslavic citizens and diplomats will not be subject to any regulation regarding the practic of cultural traditions or religion while in Novikov.

We also allert you to the specifics of our nation:

Our primary language is Slavic, with a major regional language, Russian, being spoken in the Poldi'sk area. All diplomats, however, are taught to carry out business in English, as it is the primary language of the international community.

Our currency is the Novikovian Euro, or simply the Euro, with an exchange rate of 1 Euro = $0,30.

Ethnicity is mixed and diverse, principally White/European (66%) with a large majority of Slavic, Czech, Russian, or Polish heritage. Other groups include Asian/Pacific Isalnders (18%), Africans (15%), and a small Latino population (1%). Our nation does not tolerate any racial discrimination, preferences, or remarks, and any visible sign of racial preferencing will be dealt with via fines and possible incarceration.

Provided these are acceptable standards, we would be honored to play host to a Euroslavic representitive, and would be more than happy to provide a Novikovian equivalent as well. We await your response.

Despite the cordial relations currently existing between the Dominion and Euroslavia, His Omniferocity's government will not establish an Embassy in Euroslavia under the terms listed. The Empire of Xeraph would be honored to be numbered as an ally of Euroslavia. We would further like to exchange embassies with Euroslavia.
Our embassies are located in the capitol of Xeraphia, and are a minimum of 1 acre of land. We have several larger compounds reserved for nations of the stature of Euroslavia that are 3-4 acres in size, with servants quarters, gym, and a 3-story Italianate Embassy building, with the capacity to house 75 staff. A seperate security barracks is also on the property. Extensive formal gardens are also part of the compound.

The Free State of Phriykui'linoy'li'esis is a small sub-tropical nation of 36 million on the coast of the Atlantis region. The Dominion is willing to permit Euroslavia to establish an Embassy on Amida Island, assuming Euroslavia agrees to abide by the terms of the EOE Diplomatic Agreement. However, no EOE diplomatic personnel will be sent to Euroslavia, since Euroslavia does not recognize the concepts of Diplomatic Immunity and Extraterritoriality.

I'm sorry to post this here, but the link that says "Euroslavia" appears to be broken. Also the link to Apollina on the country list looks to be broken as well.

The United Republic would like to establish embassorial (is that an actual word, or did I make it up) with Euroslavia. Our Premier, Humzad Ahmad asks if he may come and see Euroslavia, as he has never been outside Buristan, and has grown quite interested in the outside world.

Hello, Chorwock would like create an embassy in our nation with Euroslavia. As a just starting nation we are interested in establishing an embassy because we have no actualy political ties, and would like to establish a few.
As for a good location, we have just the place. A large amount of our country is beach and sometimes hilly, grassy lands.
