Joint Statement of the Five Finance Ministers of the Emirate of Alexonium
It has come to our attention that speculation on the Alexonium Joint [ALJ] has amounted to market manipulation. Because of this, we are now fixing the Joint to $0.50, or two Joints to the dollar. Anything above this is a black-market rate, and shall be prosecuted to the full extent of our laws.
Keep in mind that everyone is welcome to invest and spend in Alexonium, and these steps were not taken out of political convinience expedience [we are appointed directly by the Emir], but out of the good of the nation.
Plus, the idiots who were calling our system "Byzantine" the other day should shut the f:eek::eek:k up.
