The might that was the Moronyicka Royal Military was mobilized tonight. The mission was to annex the small nation of Gabon. The order had been given for the Tango Assault Fleet to head towards the coastal African country. The fleet had more then enough power to overwhelm the Gabon military, which was only about 165,000 strong.

The Admirals behind the operation had overestimated the power of the Gabon navy. All that was deployed around the coast was a few destroyers and an air craft carrier, all soviet ships.

As soon as the Gabon ships were within range, they were bombarded by the AGM-84 Harpoon missiles that were fire from the cruisers. Below the surface, the Seawolfes fired MK-48 Torpedoes at the AC.

Brilliant balls of fire erupted from the outnumbered ships. Not long after the assault began, the Gabon ships were sinking. Only a few fighters were able to get off the soviet AC before it sank. The fighter were quickly dealt with by Moronyickan F18s

The Gabon Navy had been defeated.

Tango’ would now move on and prepare for the beach invasion.

As the fleet drew closer, the cruisers began to fire ships-to-land missiles to take out some of the beach defenses. By the time two AAS made it to the beach, the Gabons had suffered many losses.

As soon as the two Harpers Fairy class AASes hit the beach, the tanks, MLRS, ACPs and artillery cannons, poured out onto the beach. Some of the Moronyickan soldiers were cut down by machine gun turrets at the top of the beach.

The Gabons also had tanks and cannons that were firing at the forces being deployed from the AAS. A few seconds later a small group of the F18s began to fire air-to-surface missiles at Gabons heavy weapons.

As the missiles impacted, Gabon tanks and cannons were blown sky-high. More and more Moronyickan forces poured out onto the beach, M1A2s worked on cleaning up the rest of the enemy forces. Soon the Gabon forces were overwhelmed and the beach was taken.

A few hours later a death toll had come in, a total of 864 causalities. Sad, yes, but it was the price that had to be paid for the betterment of the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the squad that had set out from Togo was now to the mainland. They moved straight to the first target, an airbase. Once they got there, the F18s protected against enemy fighters as the bombers got to work. They lost two F18s and a B1.

Once the job was done they moved on, taking out air bases and anti-air systems. When the mission was complete there was 6 F18s, 5 B2s and 1 B1

The planes headed back to Togo.
