The island nation of Anarcanis has been quiet on the international scene for some time. Widely known because of it's chaotic nature, including daily traffic best described as an 'exercise in urban warfare just to go to the corner pub.' by one citizen, the excesses of this once-impoverished nation have been curbed dramatically by the rise of Coordinator Maximillian Zhukov. Now recovering at a rapid pace, the nation in recent years has made a surprising turnaround, seeming to specialize in looking to the past and adapting odler technologies and updating them for their own use, often with surprising effectiveness for a nation that is not considered an economic powerhouse.
This datafile goes over many of the standard small arms types commonly found in the hands of the Anarcanian Defensive Militia, Internal Security Corps, and civilians alike.
Assault Rifles:
Zhukov Assault Rifle http://world.guns.ru/assault/as66-e.htm : Named both for the famous Soviet General and the Coordinator of Anarcanis, this 7.62X39mm weapon is derived from the A-91 design, rebuilt using lighter weight materials, reducing the weight to slightly above 3kg unloaded. The standard weapon incorporates an integral 40mm grenade launcher capable of firing HE, APHE, Flash/Bang Stun, Beanbags, Gas, Multiple Projectile: Buckshot, or "Hive" Flechette Rounds. The Zhukov is issued to both militia forces and the internal security corps.
Submachine Guns:
Wolverine PDW http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg61-e.htm : Built in 9x19mm Para, this lightweight PDW is issued to Militia and Internal Security Special Task Units, vehicle crews, and the Ambassadorial Guards. Delivering a larger round than most of it's competition while retaining a small size, the Wolverine incorporates an integral laser sight in either visible light, or non-visible IR or UV spectrums.
Sniper Weapons:
Grizzly Tactical Sniper Weapon: http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn19-e.htm A 7.62X54mm bullpup configured sniper rifle, the Grizzly has a shorter range than many of it's contemporaries, but is designed to be more portable in a tactical situation such as a built-up urban combat. The standard optical fit to these weapons includes low-light capability and an integral UV laser sighting system. The Grizzly is issued to both Militia and Internal Security Corps Special Task Units
Kodiak Heavy Sniper Weapon: http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn60-e.htm Firing the 12.7x108mm round, the Kodiak is the latest refinement to the V-94 family, made from lighter weight alloy with improved daylight and nighttime optics, the Kodiak is found only in the Militia. Capable of firing a variety of rounds such as APHE, API, and Tungsten-cored SLAP flechette ammunition.

Kabrinski Assault Shotgun: http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh07-e.htm Named for Jorge Kabrinski, founder of Kabrinski Industries and the weapon's designer: This weapon is found in the hands of Militia Police Units and Internal Security Corps Special Task Units. Incorporated and updated features include a low/high pressure regulation system, allowing the KAS to fire both standard loads and riot control rounds such as rubber pellet, gas rounds, and flash/bang stun explosives. Normal combat rounds include both standard lead buckshot, tungsten buckshot, flechette, and SLAP flechette for engagement of light vehicles and armored targets.
Kabrinski Cougar: http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh12-e.htm When Coordinator Zhukov mandated that all Anarcanian Citizens must own a defensive weapon for their home, those without the means to purchase an approved weapon were offered at steep discounts the pump-action Kabrinski Industries Cougar shotgun. It has since proven to be a reliable weapon for home defense and hunting, easy to fire and learn to operate. In times of war citizens joining the militia are often reissued a KAS shotgun or a Zhukov, although in desperate situations the power of the Cougar in the teeming built-up urban sprawls cannot be underestimated, especially since the Militia supplies the citizenry with deadly tungsten flechette rounds and SLAPs as well as normal buckshot.

Kabrinski Warhound: http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/RGUNUDAR.JPG This five-chamber 12.3mm heavy revolver is the standard sidearm of the Anarcanian Defensive Militia and Internal Security Corps. Rugged and very reliable, it is remarkable for it's ability to fire jacketed lead rounds, armor piercing, rubber and flash/bang stun rounds, shotshell rounds, and tungsten flechette rounds, allowing for almost any situation. The heavy caliber standard jacketed round has phenomenal stopping power.
