Kagan Viktor Dokhturov, in a bid to solidify the nation's territorial claims in North America, has agreed to sell the Soviet Bloc-held areas of Indiana to the nation's close ally, Layarteb, for over $1.07 Trillion United States Dollars. In a statement released prior to the sale, Kagan Dokhturov stated that "the sale is essential, solidifying our holdings and ridding ourselves of territory which provides little to no benefits to the nation as a whole, while strengthening relations with our closest allies."


The sale was made official in a ceremony in the national capital, where Kagan Dokhturov signed the papers confirming the sale of Indiana (most of it) to Layarteb. A delegation from the Layartebian government was also present. We hope this move strengthens relations between our two nations while stabilizing the region.

"It is great our two nations can work through such peaceful and mature levels." The chief delegator said, before clearing his throat. "This sale will help us with the growing population of our country and allow us more resources and capabilities. We thank the government of Soviet Bloc once again." He stepped down and signed the papers, as did the rest of them. That deal was done!
