Images all of a sudden appear of troops and tanks being beamed up to combat transports waiting in orbit , over 450,000 troops equipment and tanks rushed in to transports .

This just in a reporter started on FNN the federal union DOD today has issues an ultimatum to all pirate planets and smugglers ports : “we will not tolerate any more raids against our shipping other nations ship and allied shipping! , we will also not tolerate any smuggling of contraband goods ! this is a warning to all pirate strong holds and planets we are coming for you!” ,

the reporter started again “ over 500,000 troops! Tanks mechanized infantry ,mechs and runabouts , Including the 7th fleet are on there way to several planets now ,it is not known when they will arrive but it is known for sure the united states will not tolerate any more pirating against its or any other nations shipping .”

Control tower to USS republic you are cleared to depart “ , the quarter master on the republic responded “roger that 7th fleet leader out ,we are engaging warp drive” the 50 (excluding transports )ship fleet gleamed in the star light there nacelles emanated a humming sound and glowing darkish blue there saucer sections and star drives moved towards the light , as a large sound from each ship revved up several moments later each ship jumped to warp in a stream of brilliant bright light , blue partials from each ship whooshing back in to space as they entered trans warp

Troops began landing as a battle raged in the sky above runabouts and fighters poured from the carriers , as pirate ships and federal forces battled in orbit landing craft , plunged down towards the planet , SF-16 circled them protecting the craft until the entered the planets atmosphere , troops plunged out of the transports firing there Phaser rifles towards pirate and mercenary forces .

Tanks and mech rushed up firing torpedoes and large Phaser bursts at enemy amour and installations reducing most every thing to rubble runabouts pounded the instillations from the air taking out building after building in a massive glory of flames and energy fire . massive amounts of troops moved in and shot down enemy solider after enemy solider .

The ground and sky was lit up with massive amounts of crimson blue and orange energy fire in all directions it was a beacon in a cold night for any one to see . the energy from the battle was so intense most any one with in 150 lys would detect it

IC: In the Zanbarka sector, several rouge tanks were being shipped into a pirate port. As soon as they finished delivering the weapons. A huge explosion occured outside the space dock. A capital ship entered the view of the space dock and was beggining its first wave of attack. In desperation the pirates attempted to activate the skywatcher defence missiles but to no avail as the don pachi squadron quickly destroyed the defence system without much damage taken. As soon as the defences were weakened. The Capitol ship readied its ultimate weapon the DBOB. In an instant the space dock was decimated, no remanants of the dock could be found.

Several Corsair vessels tore free from the warp, plummeting towards the Gyrobot vessels; their captains wataching on as they poured upon the enemy with suicidal glee; the roar of engines drowned out by the crackle of weapons fire; Lancer blasts tearing forth against the foe; haloed by a barrage of missles.

~The small planet nation of the Draconic Order was currently undergoing the stresses of supply concerns. They used whatever resources presented themselves to them. Unfortunately for them, their supply transport lay in dock on a disputed planet's serface that was now undergoing a Federation attack. The crew of the unarmed ship decided that they would make a desperate run for it before the area was turned to molten slag. The transport's crude engines flared into life, its small escort of lightspeed capable fighters lifted off the ground and took flanking positions to protect the precious cargo of the frieghter as it began its accent into the upper atmosphere. Hoping to not get any more involved between these two waring factions, having already been supplied by the black markets of the corsairs.~

Tyraelia condemns this attack. Any loss of life is terrible, and, indeed, how do you deem yourselves better than the pirates if you take the same actions as they. Perhaps relocating them to a penitent world for 10 years may prove sufficient. Indeed, your actions have reduced the so-called humanity of your nation to nothing in our eyes.

Forces continued to assault the planet, star fleet ships rushed towards Corsair ships and started firing at them , 2 ships rushed on one of them , an Excelsior class and a Norway class both attacking it with there powerful phasers and torpedoes .

Bolts of crimson orange and beams of orange rushed out of the ships , fallowed by several bolts of blue . mean wile as the fleet homed in on the Corsair no one noticed an odd dingy shuttle leavening , the planet how ever there were several ships in patrol in the outer sections of the system .

Bolts and beams of crimson orange rushed out of the ships, followed by several bolts of blue. Meanwhile as the fleet homed in on the Corsairs, no one noticed an odd dingy shuttle leaving the planet, however there were several ships on patrol in the outer sectors of the system.

~The small shuttle made its way to the outer edge of the system. They sighed in relief, as they believed that since they have been ignored so far they would be able to get away unscathed. In less than twenty minutes they would be out far enough from the planet to safely jump to lightspeed.~

Action : the gun shipped rushed in to position, detecting the strange old ship it was a kanta class gun ship its commanding officer was a middle aged yet experience captain by the name of Trent hesting. The ship opened a channel directly to the old vessel Trent came on screen his crew working quietly and effectively around the bridge , he said “un known vassal this is the federal ship USS Milwaukee you have trespassed in to a combat zone , please respond to what you were doing on the planet and what you are doing here “

As the Ship came under fire, the commander ordered a local corvette squadron to attempt to intercept the fighters. Back at the task at hand the captain had two choices to attempt to fire another beam or stay on the defence. With little options he order the shields to raised up and hope they could last

Action: Detecting a strange old ship, a gunship rushed into position. It was a Kanta Class Gunship, its commanding officer was a middle aged yet experience captain by the name of Trent Hesting. The ship opened a channel directly to the old vessel. Trent came on screen, his crew working quietly and effectively around the bridge, he said "Unknown vessal, this is the Federal ship USS Milwaukee. You have trespassed into a combat zone, please respond to what you were doing on the planet and what you are doing here."

~The ship continued on its course, moving further from the battle that raged above the planet's skies, the fighter wing continuing to form a protective cocoon around the transport. It maintained the same speed, not slowing down. A signal was transfered from the direction of the freighter to the Federation ship. The signal came through with some static, but it was only text.~

~The Milwaukee's database began decription protocols, trying to decifer yet another alien language. The computer came up with a similar language and fed the information into the communication processor, although broken in context.~

Abord a pirate base of operations
The sensor operator shouted to the unofficial 'head' of the station, "Sir, we have multiple ships inbound from all sides."
The commander said aloud, "What? We dont have any shipments scheduled today"
Then to the communications officer "Hail those ships, I want identification and access codes"
"I already took the liberty sir, and they aren't responding" the CO replied
"Blast it all, warn all the ships docked here that we have incoming and signal that they should get out of here and then activate the defence system and launch my ship, I have to protect my investment" the commander said to the command crew
Attention all ships, we have inbound forces and suggest that you leave and we will rendevouz in 24 hours at You Know Where

Pirate ships began fleeing from the station, using their FTL drives to flee.
"They are unimportant" thought the Emporer, "they will be found soon enough"
The Protectorate ships had split up in order to approach the station from all sides, the six ships coming from every 3-D direction.

Waves of Nano-fighters emerged from the Ships, like bees coming out of a hive. One ship and its fighters went after the defending pirate ship while the rest of the ships focused on the station.

On board the Pirate Ship
"Blast, what are those things" the commander/captain said, "Status report!". The XO reported, "They seem to be targeting our shields, they're down to 10% sir and they mightl collapse any minute now, our weapons seem to be having little affect on the enemy ships, if any"
A minute later...
"We've lost shields sir! Their targeting our weapons and engines!" The XO reported

The nano-fighters then began puncturing the hull of the ship, in order to gain access to the inside where they could begin Integration.

Meanwhile the battle between the station and the other ships was going much the same. Their defences were no match for the superior Protectorate technology and were quickly overwhelmed.

After the fighters gained access to the interior the ship, they converted themselves into gound-based nanobots and began consuming the ship, turning the metal into more nanobots and spreading exponentially, taking control of the ship as they go.

Onboard the Pirate ship
"Sir they are INSIDE the ship and seem to be attempting to gain control of the computer system," the XO said to the captain.
"Very well, erase all data from the computer and send all defence teams to try and stop them" the captain ordered the XO, the captain then started praying.

The defence teams could do little to slow the spread of the nanobots and were quickly killed. The main computer was accessed and all data downloaded to a temporary storage file in the Protectorate database to be checked for any viruses and other destructive programs. They spread until they had complete control of the ship except for the bridge.

Onboard the Bridge of the Pirate ship
"Sir, maybe we should try to surrender" the XO said to the Captain
The Comm Officer jumped in "What the you think I've been TRYING to do, they wont respond to my surrender messages". The captain was silent, thinking back to the days where he was on top of the galaxy, he had a successful station and enough money inflow to live very comfortably, "Its just a bad dream, its just a bad dream, its just a bad dream..." he kept saying to himself over and over. He didnt even notice as the nanobots broke into the bridge and incapacitated his entire bridge crew, and finally himself.

STATUS: Command staff captured, beginning download of all memory and knowledge to temporary storage file... Download complete, terminating subjects.

A similar scene happened on board the station, with the command staff being taken and their knowledge downloaded, and finally killed via the severing of key neural pathways needed to keep the heart beating.

Results of Battle:
Enough resources gained to construct new Protectorate mothership with partial complement of nano-fighters.
Coordinates of various pirate-strongholds and pirate-trade routes.
Coordinates of rendevouz of pirate ships that left this base
Organic material to fertilize crops back on Protectorate worlds.

Alpha fleet then set a course to the next Pirate stronghold on the list...

~The scans showed a large supply of medical supplies and equipment. One corner of the storage bay was jamming the sensors, so there was a hole in the scans.~

The news of the Nanotech victory went threw the fleet . it was good news not only that federal forces were winning battles against pirates all over the place the min battle how ever was undecided , ships continued to pound pirate ships troops rushed on the planets surface shooting and being shot down ,amour flew over trenches and knocked down walls in crashes of noise runabouts and bombers started riding colonies all over the planet .

~As Captain Trent finished his sentence, there was a massive discharge from the jammed area, blinding their sensors momentarily. During this fleeting moment as the startled Federation ship's crew looked on, the hulls of the unidentified ships flickered and faded, the small fleet dissapearing into the void. Trent saw this type of technology before, a cloaking device.~

With the battle against pirates raging across the galaxy, the Star Empire joined in on the fun.

The battleship Sword of the Emperor launched a small probe with a warp drive. This probe activated its drive and set a course for...nowhere, really. The course took it through the system in which TFU was operating. In the system a small box--only 1m by 1 m--dropped out of the probe. Inside this box was a vacuum. And inside the vacuum was a single wormhole, not even as big as a single electron. An antenae was positioned just outside the vacuum partition and recieved its instructions from the other side of the worm hole. A small, yet powerful, array of passive sensors monitered the TFU activity and sent them through the wormhole.

The other side of the wormhole led back to the Sword, where the opening was just in front of the ship, still located in the Tri-Systems. The purpose of the mission was to test the new communications device and the stealthyness of it. The battleship would then, in an hour, enter the wormhole--after enlargening it, of course--and aid TFU in operations. But for now, the ship monitered activity in the region of space.

The Protectorate engages in more battles, all with much the same results. A few times the command crew managed to die before having their knowledge downloaded and other times the ships self-destructed resulting in a few temporary losses, but all in all the campaign was going acording to plan

Aboard System Assault Fleet Command Ship
This is Grand Admiral Tristan. All personal report to your posts and prepare for a space jump. We have orders to go to a Star System designated "Omega System" and destroy all pirate and criminal strong holds and ships. Also we must located and fortify a human inhabitable planet large enough to sustain many military bases. That is all.

The Grand Admiral flipped off the intercom switch and sat down in a luxurious chair overlooking the control room.

"Pilots set course for a Space Jump to the Omega System. The co-ordinates are pre programmed"

"So be it!" they replied in unison.

The System Assault fleet then entered hyperspace.

The System Assault Fleet came out of hyperspace to a scene of fighting before them. 2 forces, it seemed, were attacking each other relentlessly.

The Grand Admiral leaned back into his chair rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"Ok. All ships are cleared to engage both forces. Leave no survivors."

"For the Emperor!" came back through the fleet wide intercom.

Troops continued to move in full swing already 75 % of the planet had been taken but the battle was raging tough troops being gunned down on both sides tanks and artillery being blown to smithereens the fleets were still fighting a mighty , battle the 2 fleets losing ships each way Phaser fire covering the sky torpedoes rushing out

~As Captain Trent finished his sentence, there was a massive discharge from the jammed area, blinding their sensors momentarily. During this fleeting moment as the startled Federation ship's crew looked on, the hulls of the unidentified ships flickered and faded, the small fleet dissapearing into the void. Trent saw this type of technology before, a cloaking device.~

~The Milwaukee's sensor blackout cleared a second before they detected the ships jumping system, scans showed that they entered hyperspace. Trent thought for a moment, hyperspace was slower than warp speed and so if they pursued, they would easily be able to overtake the freighter and its escort. Although doing so might damage relations with other planet-nations for picking on civilian transports, as well as trying to dealing with the cloak. Trent didn't worry about that detail, as in hyperspace or warp, the ships would be wrapped in something similar to a warpspace bubble, thereby easily detectable even when cloaked.~

Cheers rose up from the Maldathian Fleet as they found their mark on the pirate ships.

"Score one for us!" yelled a young officer from behind the Grand Admiral.

The Admiral turned on his chair to face the talker.

"No. The battle is far from over."

Tristan turned back to the pilots.

"Send orders to the Milennia. Full Speed ahead. Have half of them enagage the capitol ships. Use the harpoons. Continue fire with all other ships. Provide cover."

"Yes sir! But the pirates have turned and are directing their force onto our fleet."

"Send out the fighters and brace for impact!"

"Roger that Admiral. CODE-XX7-349-184 launch fighters at the Pirate Force closing in. Justice Class Destroyers are set to attack all incoming fighters. Put up a wall of missiles and if you can launch the lasers at Battleships."

IC: The regional Ork pirates have been uncharistically inactive during the Federal offensive. Experts speculate that they are either cowed by the show of force, or simply biding their time.

The USS Maldaathi shook from a direct hit from a rather large blast.

"Shield report."

"Shields at 47% sir. We suffered minor to little losses and took some of those pirate bastards out."

"Language Petty Officer. Our fighters are to change course to the destroyers. Keep the Milennias on course and have the rest of the fleet on target."

"Roger that sir. The order has been sent."

The Admiral watched in the distance as fighters began to engage a singular destroyer. A small amount of explosions erupted but within moments the destroyer went up in silent flames.

"HURRAH!"

A pilot changed his view to the right where he saw a milennia appear beside a battleship.

"Everyone watch the Battleship on the right. Wait for the Milennia's."

The crew hushed as they watched another 4 milennia's surround the battleship.

"Here we go..." the Admiral muttered.

The Milennia's glowed and rope like harpoons shot out and into the battleship. 10 harpoons stuck in the battleship holding it in place like a powerful tractor beam while pulsing positive energy through one rope and negative through another. For anyone in between the electrified area it was lights out....

SETTING COURSE TO NEXT PIRATE STRONGHOLD

The Protectorate Battle Group had been wiping out pirates left and right, but now whenever they showed up at a base there was nobody there. The pirates seem to have left, wiping the computer memory cores and setting the base on automatic defence mode. In short, the Protectorate was running out of known pirate locations, although the Pirates were losing valuable bases that they used to trade their "merchandise."

At Secret Pirate Gathering Abord the most powerful pirate ship in the area:
"We must do something about these attacks," the captains said to each other. "They are destroying our business and killing our collegues, they need to be stopped!"
The captain of the ship they were abord raised his hand, and all conversation ceased, "Very well, we know where they are going and when they will get there and what they will do once they get there, this time however..." he paused, "there will be a little surprise waiting for them, we will send every ship here and anyone else who will help us to attack them, so they will have to face a base in front of them and a fleet behind them"
A captain spoke up "Um... doesn't that seem kinda dangerous. I mean, I want to stop this but I don't want to risk my own skin"

The head captain merely looked at him and he shriveled into his chair like a small animal trying to ecape the attention of a wolf, "This is the only way that might work, everyone in favor say Aye"

After a few seconds, the captains, even the hesitant one, unanimously shouted "Aye!" The plan was formulated, and the ships prepared for battle, mounting weapons that they believed would be the most effective: railguns, chainguns, pulse weapons, and finally EMPs. Then they took up position in a nebulae near a the most powerful station that they knew the Protectorate would attack, and waited.
A few days and several stations later...

The Protectorate ships reached the station and commenced the now standard procedure for penetrating station defences, targeting shield generators and generally ignoring weapons.

"So much for that" the Pirate commander thought to himself, then to the Fleet "Open fire"

The pirate ships started with a barrage from their pulse cannons, hoping to simply shatter the ships.

ENERGY WEAPONS DISCHARGE DETECTED, TAKE NO ACTION

The energy weapons impacted the sides of the ships, where the energy was simply absorbed by the ships and converted into energy usable by the ships.

"Blast, they're immune to energy" the commander communicated to the fleet "Commence railgun bombardment, lets see them get by that unaffected"

The projectiles neared the Protectorate ships
NONENERGY WEAPONS DETECTED, ACTIVATE SHIELDS

As the projectiles were about to impact, the blocks directly in their path began generating shields for a few moments, just long enough to take the impact and then deactivate again.

POWERING FIGHTERS, LAUNCHING: Target Pirate Fleet
While this was happening, the Protectorate Motherships had been continuing firing on the station, finally taking out its power core. They then began moving toward the pirate fleet...

A few minutes later...
"Dang it, we can't beat them this way." He then told the fleet to activate their EMPS, which would unfortunately severly disable their own ships but hopefully it would completely take out the enemy, which they had discovered was completely mechanical. The XO told the captain "All remaining ships report EMP's ready. Firing in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... NOW"

WARNING EMP DETECTED

The shockwaves hit the Protectorate ships, layer after layer after layer of blocks, which had been specially designed so that one layer would absorb the waves while the layer beneath would reflect more waves back to the absobing layer and then another absorbing layer and then another reflective layer. Eventually the waves were stopped, leaving much of each ship disabled. The nano-fighters were hit and could not tolerate the shock and were disabled.

"It seems to have worked sir, though weve lost communications and our upper technology" the XO told the commander. "Very good XO" said the commander "tell the gunners to man the chainguns manually and start firing on those ships at will"

EMP DISCHARGED, INITIATING REACTIVATION

The first unaffected layer began reestablishing contact and initiating repairs on the layer above it, which then did the same to the layer above it and so forth until the entire ship was reactivated. All other ships followed suite except the fighters

REACTIVATING FIGHTERS

The ships fired deionizing energy from their firing points at the fighters in a wide spread, reactivating some of them which were then able to reactivate the others. A few pirate ships were also reactivated.

RESUME INTEGRATION PROCEDURES

Now without shields, the pirate ships could not prevent the nanofighters from boarding and taking control, once again capturing the command crew and downloading their knowledge before dispatching them and then setting the ship to attack the other pirate ships until the ship was completely Integrated.

"Weve lost this battle" the commaner said the XO "Focus on getting those engines fixed and then get us out of here. Set a course for the fallback position."

The flagship, along with a handful of ships remaining that had not yet been boarded, fled from the battle to a planet on which they had 'friends' in the government who would give them sanctuary. In other words they had bribed enough people that they might help them.

The Protectorate ships stayed at the battle which had become a massacre, consuming all the plentiful resources to construct new ships.

"Fire the Cannons!"

The weapon ordanance operator nodded and turned to the panel in front of him.

"The 4 GC-5000 Cannons are being launched." he called through the intercom.

The Admiral closed his eyes.

"For the Emperor, the Empire and our people we shall destroy her enemies!"

At that the cannons were launched. In seconds the pirate fleet was surrounded in a electric blue aura and were quickly devoured by the ensuing, eerily quiet explosion. Rings of the explosion grew out beautifully into space.

"Damage report!"

The Fleet then entered hyperspace.

The Protectorate Ships launched their fighters,
TARGETING ORBITAL WEAPONS PLATFORMS
IGNORE PLANET

"Open fire!" the commander shouted
The Orbital Platforms commenced firing on the Protectorate ships using missles and large railguns (they had been forwarned by the pirates that energy weapons didnt seem to work). The projectiles impacted the ships shields, draining power from the ships. Nano-fighters that were hit were dispersed into small groups of blocks.

The fighters began firing on the platforms, focusing on one at a time accross the entire surface area of the shields, while the mothership fired concentrated bursts of laser energy targeted at the power cores of the platforms.

FIGHTERS DAMAGED, INITIATING REPAIRS
The blocks from the destroyed fighters slowly began repairing themselves and collecting back together, reforming the fighters

The battle raged on between the ships and the orbital defences, many fighters were temporarily destroyed and energy was being drained. The fleet had to begin transfering power from one mothership to another mothership to maintain the shielding ability and continue the assault.
Slowly the Protectorate ships began to gain the upper hand as the platforms shields were penetrated and their power cores destroyed, leaving nothing left but obiting junkyards.

WARNING LOW POWER
One of the Protectorate mothership's shields failed, and it began taking damage to its structure.

TRANSFERING POWER FROM WEAPONS TO SHIELDS
The ship lessened the intensity of its attack in order to reraise shields.

This scene began repeating itself with the other ships until there was simply not enough power being generated to maintain the shields.

The ships allowed themselves to start taking damage, as they were very large and dense they could hold out for a significant amount of time and each layer had the ability to take over for the layer above it when it was destroyed.

Eventually the last of the platforms was crippled, but there was not enough power to Integrate them

The ships were regaining their power and using metals from the asteriod belt to repair their damage.

Back on the planet they were scrambling their anti-space interceptors and preparing for the next attack.

The ships began a focused attack, only using as much power as they could generate, on one point on the planetary shields, hoping to cause a temporary hole in the shields just long enough to allow nano-fighters inside the shield perimeter. They were ready to continue this assault indefinitely until the shileds failed.

"Dang it, we cant fire at them with the shields up, and if we lower the shields then they will get through to the planets surface," the commander said. "All we can do is get ready and prepare for the onslaught."

The siege continued, with the planetary shield nearing collapse.
The commander watched the guage drop "1%, .5%, 0%!"
The shields collapsed and most of the nanofighters swarmed down to the planets surface as quickly as possible while the rest engaged the interceptors. The motherships began targeting ground-based defences and clusters of interceptors.

"launch the EMP bombs!" shouted the commander. Silos opened up and missles with EMP warheads popped up.

EMP WEAPONS DETECTED: Targeting and firing
The Ships began firing on the silos before they could launch, hitting many which set them off disabling nearby silos. A few missles managed to launch, however, and took out large groups of nano-fighters. Few actually made it to the motherships before being taken out, although the shockwaves partly hit them, disabling portions of the ship nearest the planet.

Many of the nano-fighters managed to make it to the surface where they reformed themselves into ground-based nanobots and began Integrating the planet, multiplying exponentially as they go...

---------------------------Several Hours Later----------------------------
The planet was in pieces, the majority of its surface Integrated with the rest being only a matter of time. The nanobots reached the command bunker where the Defence Commander was and penetrated it.
As the commander watched his men being massacred by the nanobots which were slowly working their way towards him, he said quietly "What have I done..." He was then incapacitated, his knowledge downloaded, and then his central nervous system severed in such a way that his heart stopped, with death following soon after.
DATA OBTAINED: Pirate hiding location found, pirates are hiding in underground structure.

The Pirates were not complete fools, they had boobytrapped their ships and set them on automatic and had sealed the entrance to the underground bunker, using explosives to cause a cavein on the tunnel going down to it.

The nanobots continued to spread, getting ready for the next phase where they needed to penetrate underground.

The Imperial ships pulled out of hyperspace to find a system enriched with many planets. From the 'Piledriver' Capitol Ship the Grand Admiral could see some would not be suitable for a base for the Imperial Military and Research Bases.

The Admiral rubbed his chin thoughtfully like he often did when he was making a decition.

"Power up the GC-5000 Cannons. We are going to eradicate all life on every single planet in this system until those bastards show their faces."

"Yes sir!"

The 4 'Piledriver' Cannons reached maximum power and began to flash with undescribable power.

"Sir the cannons have powered up and we have set aim for 2 of the planets."

The Grand Admiral nodded.

"Are we sure of WHERE the pirate fleets are stationed?"

"No Admiral, sir."

He sighed un-happily.

"Fire anyway."

"Yes sir!"

The operator entered the firing code and the power charged out of the cannons into the deep core of the 2 random planets. The destruction ensued could not be described. Chunks of planet debris flew through space noiselessly as the 2 beams per planet found their mark.

"Direct hit sir. The fleets were NOT on that planet."

"Ok recharge them..."

This is Dictator of Lumens, we have detected ships flying past our planetary system. We have detected that these ships are hunting "pirates". Our entire planet only exist because of pirates, we were a drop off planet for prisoners who were left here to die. Well now, 500 years later, we have made new technologies that have to do with bending and amplifying light. We declare war on whoever the source of order is, because they make people like us suffer. All ships, to your battle positions!

OOC: Nano id say he is bitching to me as im currently destroying a number of planets trying to draw a pirate fleet out of hiding.

CONCLUSION:
The planets surface had been taken and Integration was well under way. When the Protectorate forces had reached the remaining pirate ships they had set off EMP's and then explosives went off, destroying most of the ships.

Meanwhile, directly above the underground bunker where the remaining pirates were the nanobots were preparing to infiltrate. Many of them grouped together and reconfigured themselves into a digging apparatus shaped like a hoop, with laser cutting beams ready to bore into the surface.

ACTIVATING DIGGING APPARATUS

The hoop began to rotate, firing the cutting beams as it went creating at circle in the ground which the hoop then moved into. It repeated this process over and over until it reached the bunker.

Inside the bunker...
They could hear the sound of the ground being burned away by some sort of laser, and it was getting louder. "This is it" the commander of the former Pirate Fleet said to himself.

The diggers beams made it through to the bunker and then, without any support, the tall column of earth that had been created fell inward on top of the floor of the bunker, shattering it and killing a few people who happened to be there. The way now open, the nanobots infiltrated the bunker, killing most, downloading the knowledge of some. The 'battle' was soon over.

With no further resistance, the Protectorate forces continued to Integrate the planet, first consuming the processed metal of the destroyed ships and buildings and then, at a slower rate, consuming the unprocessed metals of the planet, leaving nothing but nonmetallic refuse where there was once a planet full of life.

Protectorate Ship A-4 rendevouzed with the battle group, replacing ship B-2 which then set a course for Protectorate space.

STATUS REPORT

The System Assault Fleet ID#00917-764B3 is to be replace by Planetary Assault Fleet ID#00916-451775C2

The Pirate Fleet is still hiding on one planet.

The Piledriver will destroy another 2 planets before being replaced.

A fire has erupted in A 'Justice' class destroyer. 5 crew members have died. Command is planning to open hatches in the side of destroyer and let space put the fire out. 8 crew are expected to die in said procedure.

Alpha Fleet remained in the system, Integrating the lifeless worlds inside the system, separating anything that could be of value to other nations and readying it to be picked up by cargo ships of the various protected nations.
