The United States of WyattLand ordered it's full force of the military to mobilize and "prepare for the worst" today. Tens of Thousands of National Guard and Reserve Troops have been called to active duty, in what is being called the largest mobilization in WyattLand's history. President Williams rallied troops today at Belvidere Air Force Base in southeast WyattLand, saying "We have stood as freedom's defenders, and we will not bow to our knees now."

The Nine military alliance demands to know the reason behind such a large scale mobilization of forces, until further notice all Northern Nation States forces in the area will be on elevated alert status and loaded with live ordinance.

The situation is this:

The United States of WyattLand answered a call for international assistance by the nation of "Wallis and Futuna". The government there was democratic, and was proud of their freedom. The call for assistance came when a communist rebellion, calling themselves a "Socialist Union" threatened to overthrow the government. Well, the nation was thrown into a large-scale civil war. Other communist allies were called in to help the oppressive rebellion overthrow the government, forcing the President into resignation, and now, they threaten a full scale invasion of the rest of the country. Most of the mobilization of WyattLand's forces will be for defensive measures here at the homeland, and surrounding it's borders. WyattLand had sent troops in, along with other nations, to try to stop the rebellion, but unfortunately, we did not have the weapons systems necessary to combat orbital weapons systems, which were being used by an ally of the rebellion, Hogsweat. Two nuclear weapons hit their targets, but after that, they were shot down, and with little effectiveness. Therefore, most of our troops will be for defensive measures surrounding the WyattLand homeland, as we have been on code red alert since our first involvement in the war. Our nation stands for freedom, and we don't want Wallis and Futuna to lose that. The government there, as well as mine, has tried to engage in peace talks/diplomacy with the rebellion, but they refuse to talk, and say that "they will take over at any cost". We mobilize in such large numbers, because we are trying to make up for, in size, what we don't have in actual weapons. If we can get enough allies to assist us in stopping the rebellion, then most of the troops can be used for defensive measures here at home.

Wyattland has resigned from the Wallis (capitalists) and Futuna (socialists) conflict. Their troops have been withdrawn and their army de-mobilized. The socialist forces have virtually won the battle against the capitlaists now. The socialist forces based at the island of Wallis were attacked by Wyattland, Wallis (capitalists) and Alannea, both with nuclear weapons and air raids. The socialists have now beaten them off with help from Hallad, Hogsweat, The Vuhifellian States and Azuna.
