A direct order from the Chairman has sent Air Force spending high. Sel Appa has deisgned a new helicopter that will be the main part of the SAAF. Currently, 25,000 are in production or are done. To staff these helicopters, the SAAF set up a big recruitment plan that includes door-to-door, mailings, visiting high schools, visiting shopping centers, etc.
Requests for further info have soared to several thousand a day. Enlistment has been slowly growing and currently stands at around 15,000 members. Although recruitment has been increased, it was made sure that nothing was overdone. So far, there have been no complaints. A total membership of 25,000 is expected by month's end and 50,000 by April 1.
