Colonial Law Amendment #132 Eastablished the nation of Galactic Traders as its own, independent entity in the intergalactic community. This nation of 5 million is located on a small, but very dense planet which is unfortunately only capable of supporting roughly 120 million people. Oil is rare, hydrogen was the chief form of energy, which helps to maintain a fragile balance in its climate. All of the colony's ships were siezed by the mother planet, construction has started on three ships, the model X-303 to serve as the basic defense for this young planet, each X-303 holds 8 F-302 fighter/interceptor craft, of these eight, four will be out on patrol away from the mothership while the other four stay to repond to any possible threats. Construction has started on a space station what will be used as an interstellar port for Galactic Traders. Currently we lack any true interstellar spacecraft other than the X-303, which is very limited in its abilities. The Marshall of Galactic Traders, Constantine Justinian, has requested aid from the intergalactic community in establishing our most basic needs, within a matter of years our planet will reach its maximum support level and we will have to adopt harsh policies to essentially stop our population growth.

The Empire of Neo Zeta is willing to help you. We are a trade empire as we have ships taxing trade routes. We are willing to give you designs for a space city that can hold 30 million people. Its not much but it can help.

The Marshall is very pleased to accept this gracious gift from Kanuckistan, these ships will be an integral part of our defense. Unfortunately we are forced to turn down the offer from Neo Zeta, this "space city" may be a possible prospect in the future but right now we do not have the means to pay for or build such a massive project. Taldaan, our current finance do not leave us much room for buying goods, we are currently able to supplyourselves with all of our necessities, but we thank you for you most generous offer. They're also an excess since we have come out with the MA195B Laser-Assault Rifles and this design is obsolete for us. We hope it will truly come in handy.

Also, Green Sun is willing to allow you to mine our destroyed planet, Green Sun. It was glassed in a civil war, but the planet still has rich resources. We are only mining it for oil and certain metals since our other planets have plenty of all else. We would be happy for you to use the resources it has to offer. Continued Requests from Commanders was to have Defensive forces moved in placed quickly after a area was secure. The 3rd Detachable Landing Bay was created for the purpose of securing a area whenever more than one assault was required. Not only did this give the warship the ability to carry more firepower but also the ability to plan more strategic attacks.

The Bay is also able to Function like a small space vessel. It can sustain a full Crew apart from its Home Fighter Carrier for 4 months. It Holds 3 Squadrons of fighters and able to launch 50 Fighters simultaneously. It also has 5 standard lasers for defense.

The Only Drawback is the Propulsion system. It carries Four SM-25 Thrusters which unfortunately does not give the spacecraft much speed.

The Marshall is delighted to accept one Mammoth Class Superfreighter, this will indeed serve the people of Galactic Empire well for many years to come, for the time being this will be our only "superfreighter" as most of our focus will be on smaller, faster, cheaper Tel'Tac Cargo Ships as this will allow us to be more free in how and whom we trade with. Galactic Traders' home planet lies in the Bio Ceti system, roughly 12 light years from Earth, there is only one habitable planet (out of 5) in this system but our research indicates that three of the systems 42 moons are habitable, probes ahve been sent to these moons, it appears that two of these moons have standing water on its surface while the third seems to be colder and has large oceans of ice, this moon is volcanic and it appears that underneath hundreds of feet of ice there is flowing water, scientists are very excited about the prospect of building permanent colonies on these moons. The construction of our space station is going well, this will serve as a check point for all incoming vessels, ships to large to dock will go into orbit and shuttles with Marines and Customs officials will be sent to inspect the cargo/passengers of these ships. Already we have completed one X-303, 12 X-302's, and 4 Tel-Tac Cargo Shuttles, one X-302 was slightly damaged in an attack by raiders of unknown origin, one of their fighters was destroyed but the debris was pulled into our planets atmosphere before any could be retrieved to be studied.

Green SUn asks that the Galactic empire take their conflicts elsewhere. The Galactic Traders just want to live in peace.

Also, you have not contacted us about the mining our the planet Green Sun I. What will be your stance on that?

Currently the nation of Galactic Traders does not have the ability to establish a mining colony on Green Sun, as you stated this is a dangerous planet requiring thousands of men for security and thousands more for the actual mining operation. With in seven (RL) days we should be able to put together a minor colony on Green Sun, but for now we are going to focus on other habitable bodies in our own system as a way to solve or at least set back the inevitable over population of our planet, we are very thankful to the people of Green Sun for their most kind offer.

A colony is not necessary. All you have to do is send in men. We can provide security and housing for them planetside and daily we can send them from Green Trees to Green Sun. We can also provide ships to transport them. Our GS Cargo Ships can hold up to 1,300 tons (In space gravity) and are alwyas HyperJump-capable.

The huge primordial form of Isss' Rraak rested on a great slap of pure basalt rock within the vast "chamber where orders/dictates are given" [Seat of Power?]. Isss' Raak was monsterous even by Sskiss standards and dwarfed all around him. The ancient chamber was grown long before he hatched and in turn dwarfed himself - For such a thing was required as the Sskiss were highly territorial and could not tolerate closed quarters.....

Unfortunately the Marshall can not allow you to enter our atmosphere, the possiblity of contamination is to great, it would be putting our entire planet at risk and seeing as how we have no colonyies it would also mean the end of our nation. If you can reach our space station we can have scientists and doctors inspect you to make sure you carry no infectious agents.

The Marshall would like to know for what purpose this base star is being sent. We see no need for a Capital Ship with thirty times our offensive power to be so near our planet and we would prefer that it not come within .01 lightyears of our planet. Our fighters have enough firepower to handle any pirates that are likely to attack our frieghter, if need be we can even send one of our X-303's also along as an escort.

I have been informed that the vessels should be arriving in the outter reaches of your system momentarily, escorted by a single modified Fell Warden Class Battle Dreadnaught equiped to provide crew training and facilitate any system modifications your navy may requior; the Fell Warden itself belongs to Uniphase Armouries Interversal, our primary military contractor and the company which built the vessels you are about to take posession of.

It will also assist in thwarting raiders and pirates for the duration of it's stay, which shall be as long as your personel requior.

In addition, I must reinforce the warnings that UAI instructors will give your crews when they arrive; those vessels are designed with extensive anti-tamper systems to discourage reverse-engineering - systems sealed and labled as such should be left alone, as tampering with them would threaten the ship as a whole. They are first and foremost designed to not cause colaterial damage if destroyed in combat, however, and UAI has agreed to provide modular replacment components and repairs at cost.


Also, I must caution against involving yourselves with the Galactic Empire; they have a history of imperialist expansion and annexation. Even if joining would leave you fully intact in terms of materials, lives, and rights(although NavInt has reasons to question that last point), you would find yourself sharing all of the enemies that an agressive expansionist empire gathers as a matter of course
