The League of Concerned Businesses of Marker's Pride would like to announce that our member GreenCorp has begun the process of selling our Space technology to outside nations. They have 3 basic models, and customizations are by request, which we will glady do, provided you pay a 500 million dollar fee for a change in the plans, and the cost of the equipment you want upgraded. All Satellites are delivered as is, lauch mechanisms (Rockets, shuttles, et. al) are up to the purchasing nation, although we will manufacture it in a process that allows it to be attached to any launch vehicle, provided you give us information about the loading/docking mechanisms we must attach to.

Mary Johannson,
Chairwoman of the Marker's Pride LCB

StrikeSat mark I 'Woodpecker':
Small (in terms of size), nimble satellite, notable because it is lauched with a large supply of fuel for quick manuvering. It contains a titanium sheild at one end with a sharp tip, allowing you to use it to ram and punch holes in multiple targets in space (other satellites or manned vehicles). The StrikeSat has fuel tanks for 1 weeks worth of manuvering, weighs 2 metric tonnes, and is controlled remotely from the ground.
Cost=$600 million

SpySat mark IV 'Hawkeye':
Massive satellite, but weighs the same as the strike sat due to less dense construction. Has 2 'wings' and has room to mount 12 independantly targeted cameras of any type that the purchaser wishes. Available in 2 models, an orbital, which weighs slightly more as it has fuel to make course corrections, and a geosynchrosys model, which is lighter and only has fuel to achieve it's paticular perch.
Cost=$850 million

SimBot Mark II 'Acid Rain'
Relatively small satellite, but with 4 massive solar collectors. This satellite solves the traditional space laser-to-ground problem of air diffusion and refraction by avoiding lasers altogether. It collects solar power, converts it to microwave, and fires the microwave beam wherever you want, devestaing whatever it hits. Recharge time is 7 sun-hours. Can not be recharged when the earth is between it and the sun.
Cost=$1.5 Billion

[OOC: I have a feeling that sattelites cost somewhere around 11 billion..but just might be a stupidity..not sure.]

OOC: I took that into account, but based on the fairly heavy handed capitalism we practice, as well as this my first venture into international territory, I cut down the price to engender good will. We're selling for a loss. Dont know why I waited till I had about a billion people to get involved, but hey.

Is this modern tech if it is I would like:

2 SpySat mark IV 'Hawkeye'

4 SimBot Mark II 'Acid Rain'

all of which will be modified to fire rocket's which comes too 10.700 Billion

OOC: It is Modern Tech

IC:
Very Well, those modifications will be completed. Expect the delivery in 12 months (One day RL time), and wire the money to our treasury.

OOC: I should point out that microwave radiation is still EM radiation and is basically light. It will still re / diffract.

microwaces penatrate the atmosphere how do you think satalites can send back data

microwaces penatrate the atmosphere how do you think satalites can send back data
OOC: Yes, they do, but only a tiny percentage of the energy hits the ground stations and the resultant signal has to be amplified a huge amount to get it back to any useable state. As digital signals are fairly easy to amplify, it's no problem for data transfer but if you want to injure anyone / set fire to anything on the ground then you're out of luck Im afraid.

OOC: Ack, sorry all, mid-terms at my Uni. Let me process the orders that came in while I was busy

IC:

The Markers Pride Union of Concerned Businesses recognizes the value of a repeat customer Hypotheticalia, and as such your order will be shipped for a price of 10.5 billion dollars. Expect delivery in 8 to 12 months (1 rl day).

Haxxoristan, the Acid Rain sat can be modified to fire whatever you wish, for the already stated fee.

OOC: No, I have never RPed the building of any kind of orbital weaponary. The Island of Rose, I believe, built a particle cannon.
