Navigational system: The Barracuda is equipped with an integrated computerized navigational system. The driver and navigator each has a CRT display with radar information superimposed on a digital chart. The navigator can enter waypoints and range circles and the driver-side CRT is instantly updated. The Barracuda is fitted with a Kolschek Type2 SEOS turret mounted above the helm station, incorporating low-light and thermographic vision systems. These systems allows the Barracuda to navigate in zero-visibility at full speed through very tight passages.
The computer used is a suspension-mounted PC with a navigational program from the navigation computer and digital charts. A 8-channel differential GPS is connected to the computer to provide position updates. The Barracuda also is fitted with radar.
