The Sovereign Nations of the German Reich of Guffingford, united in the Holy Dual Empire of Guffingford-Panooly. An official statement regarding the war against Russian Forces, Independent Hitmen and McLeod03.

"Friends of the German Reich, we have witnessed the aggressive stance of the Soviet Union in these tragic events. We have seen how the British Empire was forced to start a pre-emptive strike on Russian soil. Yes, these actions wouldn't have happened if these warmongers responded to our constant beggings, indeed beggings, to start a diplomatic process. Yet these people have chosen the path of war in which millions will die. Not for the greater good the German Reich stands for. No, they want it for their endless lust for more land, slaves and to build a throne of bones, skulls and blood. We shall come to defend the British Empire and to save the world again from intellectual and moral decay, promoted by soviet madness and their lackeys who have hidden themselves in a fort without a roof.

McLeod03 and Independent Hitmen have repeaditly violated international law with their offensive actions against various nations. No, naming them would take till the end of times. Threats followed by more hollow threats. And then they wage war. Without a warning they attack like the communist dogs they are. Now serving their slavedriver the Soviet Union to earn a favour. That's their real motive, attacking and pillaging innocent nations. We will do what we must to rid the world of this plague."

A Statement from the New White House on behalf of the President

"Now we see the true colours of the Guffingford regime. They accuse us of bullying nations and violating international law for our own will when it is in actual fact they who throw their weight around. I draw upon the specific example of the brutal executions of five Russian Citizens who were in the Guffingford Reich on the charge that they were Russian Special Forces. They had no trial at all, and we are the ones who are breaking international law.

I also take this oppurtunity to tell then leaders of Guffingford that the USIH has gone to war with the British Empire after they launched a strike on our long-term ally Russian Forces. Under Article One of the Treaty of Moscow we are bound to our allies defence, and will remain so for the considerable future. They will not be made to stand alone as they have done so many times before in their history. We will stand with our Russian allies and we will triumph over the forces of evil whether it takes a day, a year or a decade.

To do this though certain steps will have to be taken, and the Homeland Defence has been mobilized along with all reservists and National Guardsmen. I ask these brave men and women to fight for the just cause, you are brilliantly equipped, brilliantly trained, and you will defeat the evil people who seek to destroy our freedom and that of our allies."

Helsinki, Finland

In the Finnish capital city was turned into one huge military base, tanks and supply vehicles going in and out of the city day and night. The north airforce was practicing new tactics and a whole new chain of command was installed to increase the effectiveness of the northern armies. Inside the Command Unit maps of Finland and Western Russia were scattered around, lying on a table. Little red flags were the Russian forces while the blue ones represented the Axis. The British already took a part of far eastern Russia, and a special taskforce was on the way to the Black Sea, to try to gain a forward landbase in the south of the Ukraine. This naval expedition hadn't gone unnoticed by Russians, surely but it's a perfect way of opening up another front - the Russians will have to redirect even more men to withstand with assault. While the defense of Belarus and Russia shirks, the Reichs Armee will march into the Soviet Union.

Warsaw, Poland

From all over Poland soldiers of the Reich stood up to form one sword, one mind to crush the Communist heretics. Nothing has happened yet, only the mobilization is in full swing and the war industry was working at full speed. Behind the safety of the AGL line all sorts of new technologies hit the assembly line, coming from The Macabees and other giants in the arms industry. New forms of AT guns are being produced... This would be the war to end all other wars between the Germans and the Russians.

Secret IC:

From the north cape to the south of Germany, from the borders of Germany with Denmark to the border with France, all of the Reich's borders were fortified by the AGL, a most ingenius system of bunkers and defensive structures to protect the German Reich from any frontal naval, aerial or land attack. French made a big mistake by only covering the German border and leaving neutral nations unattented, the AGL covered all of borders of the Reich. But what is so special about the AGL? It's like the Great Wall of China but even better. Only reinforced concrete would stop tanks and infantry but why let them come close to the structure? That's why a network of pipes stretches miles and miles from one point to the other, covering the first hundred meters of the German terrain from the Soviet Union or any of the dominions bordering on the German Reich. Invisible to the naked eye, water is injected into the soil above to create the perfect mudpool/quicksand. All positioned in a concrete basin with a water resistant layer of clay beneath the pipe system, making it a formidable defensive thing. What looks like a sandy plane filled with mines is in fact an even better way to get rid of incoming vehicles and men. The massive structive itself can only be destroyed by nuclear weapons. Fully EMP and graphite protected, AA missile batteries hidden inside protected silos to withstand artillery strikes and airfields to support an aerial counter attack. Pillboxes for snipers and machinegunners, artillery spots, mortar attack units. The whole plan was a real blow in the face to the defence budget of Guffingford (+/- 30 trillion) and the thing cost 23 trillion and constrution started after the Crucible situation.

Berlin

"Men, today is the day to cease thinking. From now on, we must show the world our oustanding military might. Everything that is needed for our adventures into Russia are ready. Our collective endeavor to defeat the threat from the east shall succeed. God grant they shall never set foot here, where we stand!"

Around Berlin around ten thousand patatroopers were ready to be flown into Berlin. When the planes were cramped with heavily armed troopers, the planes could barely lift off. Above the Russian sector of Berlin, from the C-130 planes the men jumped into the unknown Soviet world beneath them. Their part of Berlin wasn't heavily guarded. Regular policeforces and maybe some red forces. The lack of drinkable water must have weakened them, and also the shortage of food should make it a quick and easy job. The assignment was to take no POW's; kill them all and liberate the German families in Berlin. Same policy was issued to the attacking forces in Finland and Norway, while the men in Poland had to wait until the first Russian attack wave smashed against the walls of the AGL. That night dozens of men jumped into the abyss of Berlin, veiled in darkness. All power was cut to Russian Berlin; so without fighting the Reich had effectively destroyed all electrical capabilities. There was no sign of AA batteries or any other defensive precautions. Only the sound of the rotors was heard when the men kept jumping out of the airplanes.

Finland, near the Russian border

From the military airfields around Helsinki thousands of airplanes took off, Commanche and Apache gunships, Spectre AT gunships, Harrier II's, Chinooks and Hercules aircraft carrying paratroopers, JSF's, Bird of Prey fighters... Too many to count. From the Norse border with Russia, the notorious 'foot cavalry' began their long walk to target Russian supply convoys and to take out any Russian tank they encounter. From the ground a massive missile strike from mobile Tomahawk launchers and rocket artillery commenced on the Russian positions, covering the whole border range from southern Finnish-Russian border to Norway. From medium calibre mortar attacks to heavy 155mm artillery strikes. The infantry stands strong behind the AGL, and so is all the artillery.

Poland, near the Russian border

While the attack in the north started, in Poland all sorts of defences had been taken or installed and could withstand at least five full tank strikes before the AGL would begin to weaken a bit. Behind the massive wall many, many AT guns gathered to start the counter attack when the Russians had been defeaten here, AA was also at the highest alert but most of the Russian airforce was busy in the far east. From now, the main objective was to withstand a Russian Blitz. Kilometers behind the AGL the country side and cities are littered with anti-aircraft guns and missile batteries while the CELLDAR system kept on scanning the Russian airspace from the ground while other systems scanned their skies from 'foreign weather satellites' in orbit.
