At 8:00 the King Appears on TV to the Kingdom of Novus-Patria.

"My Fellow Latino-Celtic people, today we shell make a great stride for the future freedom of our Realm. At 5:36 today i requested and passed a decleration of War against the savage Islamic roage state of Qassam!. My Fellow Countrymen We shell begin bombing in 15 minuets.



High over the Ocean in the dark of night, bomber of the Fist-Wing Squadron head for there target "the Capital of Qassam".

The streets of Agha City quickly emptied following the declaration of war, those not fit for combat taking refuge in the reinforced former palaces of the European invaders. Throughout the capital, armed men were hurriedly erecting barricades or crouched on rooftops with soviet RPGs and anti-war weaponry. From the command bunker of the GAF, brother Mazzen, leader of the nation, addressed his people via radio:

"Comrades, it appears the misguided fools in Novus-Patria have declared war on our recently freed nation. They seem to hold the racist belief that Islam is savage. It is of no concern. We will cast them off as we cast off our former European masters. As I speak, anti-aircraft weapons have begun to engage their aircraft. Stay strong, comrades, together we will defeat the foreign kuffar."

The radio switched back to vintage jazz, and brother Mazzen stood up, shouldering an old AK-74. He pointed to an aid, instructing him to contact Qassam's allies, and headed for the front with other high-ranking GAF officers.

Due to Novus-Patria blatant war-mongerign for reasons beyond the worst stupidity seen in Borman history we are officially drafting a decleration of war. Within minutes we will have fleets sailign toward the nation of Novus-Patria and a decleration of war drafted.

Satellites moved it's len's to the conflicted region. The Nycton government would watch this closely for unknown reasons.

Due to Novus-Patria’s blatant war mongering we are issuing a declaration of war upon Novus-Patria. Any and all diplomatic and trade relations will cease with the nation immediately. As we speak several naval groups are on their way to the accused nation.

In order to properly determine what course of action Xeraph should take, we require two more nations to concur with Farminia's statement. Should Farminia's statement prove to be correct, and we have no reason to believe it isn't, the Emperor will decide what action, if any, is appropriate.

All over the Eastern Coustline of Novus-Patria, Large Guns are deployed to defend from Naval bombardment further inland Flak Guns are deployed around towns and villages. The Coust Guard and Police Sea Petrol are quickly scrambaled to meet any possibel sea threats.

Brother Mazzen Agha calmly sipped from a large cup of black tea, and stared blankly out towards the sea.

"The bombardment appears to have stopped for now." an aid reported, "And the Novus-Patrians seem to be barricading themselves in their homeland." Mazzen Agha looked quizically at the aid.

"What? They're going into a defensive role after one air raid? Haven't these kuffar ever launched a war before?!" He took a big gulp of tea and muttered, "Oh well. As long as they're not bombing us or invading our shores, I could care less. We only lost about 50 civillians in the raid. I guess we should issue a statement then." The aid nodded and then asked, "What about the talk going around the international scene about the 'slaughter of Westerners?'" Br. Mazzen sighed. "I guess we'll just be honest. Jot this down, and then release it to the public, and also see what you can do about getting a special operations team together to perform some... let's say retaliation."

Re: The invasion

After the largely insuccessful bombing raid of Novus-Patria murdered 50 of our civillians last night, it appears the kuffar have opted to assume a cowardly defensive posture. They have perhaps realized what a war in our land will mean: the streets running red with invaders blood. We are still prepared to repel them, but have no desire to bring the war to their homeland. We hope they come to their senses, and open negotiations with us.

It has also come to our attention that accusations of "slaughtering westerners" have been put forward by Farmina. We find these absurd, and without merit. The glorious struggle against our invaders lasted for many decades, and indeed many were killed- on both sides. We do not think it is slaughter to kill those who oppress our brothers, rape our women and kill our children. It is the duty of all nations to cast off the yoke of Western imperialism; we were but another people exercising our right to liberty.

In closing, let us say this: those who once again try to bring Qassam under foreign occupation will be met with resistance. We are pleased with the decision of Novus-Patria to back down from their aggression. We are not interested in conflict, only in rebuilding what is left of our nation after years of imperial occupation. However, the bombing raids conducted on our country by Novus-Patria have left a death toll of 236, with several hundred more injured. As such, we have decided to continue holding several POW's we captured from downed planes. In the event of further aggression, all POW's will be executed, and dumped into the sea.

A massive fleet had almost reached Qassam. The 2nd Capital fleet, escorting the first line marine force of about 50,000 men, were preparing in their battle stations. The Super-Dreadnought was on high alert, the radar had begun tracking hostile aircraft on it's 1,000 mile range radar. The massive 32" turrets turned slowly to face it's aggessors. Marine paratroopers had begun suiting up on all of the carriers.

With that, Ericson and his crew left the room for the C-13 Jackrabbit awaiting them.

The ports are our main concern for security at the moment, any sort of troop movement from land would be extremely difficult at best. The situation being as it is, we believe you will be most useful in the ports and hope it will not be too much of a problem to remain there.

"You have left us no choice." Said Commodore Invidica as he starred out of the bridge of the Super Dreadnought Scipii.
"Start stage 1, if they do not change their mind, begin stage 2." He started confidently.
"Aye aye, sir." Answered a calm officer on board. He began tapping buttons rapidly and the bridge began to go crazy with men running back and fro. Much of all the lights turned red on the ship.
"Battle stations! Battle stations! This is no drill!" Relayed the intercom.
The ship began a sharp turn and it's massive turrets began to swing to it's right side. Ships escorting the ships lights flashed red in the distance.
The Commodore starred as in the complete darkness, large lights started flashing up into the air, cruise missiles of different sorts hitting the darkness like a knife. Some of the smaller battleships opened up their 20" guns onto the shore. Suddenly the ship rocked with a massive thundering boom. The barrage from the Scipii's 20, 32" guns opened up in a straight line from the rear of the ship to the front 1 by 1. He saw countless lights from aircraft as they had taken off from their carriers. The air war had begun.
The reinforcments had been called from Nycton. The reserves had been called, the 20 million man military of the Imperial Republic was ready for conflict. Thousands hugged their loved ones as they boarded convoy ships.

Fire has been ceased. All aircraft is being called back. The missiles cannot be canceled, and as you may know, shells cannot be cancelled. We are sorry for your casaulties. We are pulling back some.

The Mondothian Government has viewed the rise of hostilities in the area with growing concern, It has appeared to us that the nominal aggressor has appeared to stand down multiple times only to witness an increase in opposing forces and eventual re building of what is assumed to be another offensive force, followed by another stand down and so on. It is our view that Navus Patria has only rebuilt its forces as a defensive measure against possible invasion by the forces threatening it. In the interest of international peace The Mondothian people Demand the removal of ALL military forces from the region excepting a small peace keeping force composed of no more than
1 fleet size airraft carrier
4 major surface combatants (Battle ship class or smaller)
4 minor surface combatants (Destroyer class or smaller)
and
4 submarine combatants (Hunter killers or attack subs.)

To enforce our demands, a Shadow class SSGN fully armed with and authorized to use, Nuclear Armaments of an undisclosed number and yieldhas been placed on alert and within strike range of the conflict. any advent of further hostilities will result in immediate nuclear reprisal.

: Aboard the Peregrine class Aircraft Carrier Verity (low observable configuration):
To the four men assigned the job it was just like practice, no guns going off, no aircraft roaring off the carrier deck, their thrust noise echoing off the radar absorbing 'roof' over the flight deck, just the four men, the oversized skeet shooter and the compliment of oversized skeet to be shot. in twenty minutes they deployed ten of the round greyish disks. as soon as they were spun up after launch their LCD coated skin swiftly changed color to match the ambient light and weather conditions, becoming all but invisible to the men who had launched them, and they knew they were there.

The Silent Crow type drones spread out and scattered shortly before entering the projected combat zone, each to a different target localized by an earlier sattelite pass. soon they began 'hearing' radar emissions that 'defended' the target zones, trusting to their radar transparent and absorbent construction and the smooth radar scattering lines, the drones forged on, actvating all of their considerable array of passive sensors to record the 'enemy' forces numbers, weapons and positions.

OOC: My nation doesn't have a large number of nukes, and right now a large percent of them are positioned elsewhere defending the world against a deadly disease, the SSGN is not even in position yet so don't go 'finding it' or anyhting, (which would be very hard to do any way) and when it gets in position, it could be anywhere in an area of something like 4 thousand square nautical miles and still be in strike range. so you'd have to be very lucky to find it anyway. and it will be surrounded by large portions of my hunter killer force (Kracken class SSN's) All stats are in my storfront, linked from my sig.

Brother Mazzen Agha surveyed the port city of Javid in disbelief.

"What the fu... How ca... I.. We.. we're..." he stammered, overlooking the corpses waiting to be identified, and ruins scattered throughout the city. Even the local mosque had been hit by Nycton's attack. At least 25 civillians had been killed and another 70 injured, due to the quick escalation of the situation, and 15 GAF soldiers were now dead. The other port city attacked, Ashra, reported total dead as 34.

"We're a sovereign nature, dammit, and we have the right to invite whoever we please to help us protect our nation! Those bastards didn't even consult us, they just started bombing. OOC: He didn't get nearly that much damage, my ships were out there.

MK41 VLS fired up on ships as anti-missile measures came to life everywhere. Guns opened up nad CIWS screamed in fire. MK29 and MK 141 launchers opened up with Sea Sparrow missiles and Harpoons flyign at enemy missiles.

The AN/SLQ-32 came to life as the jammers went to work on any radar/sonar guided weapons.

All measures were taken to get down as many missiles as possible, and like always it was largely succesful. But a number remained that kept coming at the line of battleships.

In the end several battleships were lightly damaged and missiles had gotten through do hit a Frigate pretty hard. Teams were working to unload the frigate and try to float it back. The shells had taken a much more severe toll one one battleship, the armor had almost beeen breached and one shot flew across the deck.

Post your casaulties. And damages. I wanted Borman Empire off of Qassam or I was willing to attack both and warned them on 2-3 seperate occasions. I attacked both and Borman Empire withdrew. My mission was accomplished. The cruise missiles DID have glitches because I aimed at military targets only. They might have been shot down while low flying over a urban area also. That is unknown. You had no concern in this conflict, therefor you had no right to spontanous attack me with no warning. Therefor, you choose death to your fleet as a warning. the Submarine quickly became almost absolutely silent, no noise signs came on all over the ship, llights went off and the reactor powered down to minimum sustainable output as several hundred counter soungd generators strategically placed in sound generating areas started measuring the sound produced by machinery and people and emitting carefully crafted sound waves that would precisely interrfere with them reducing the decibel level by fully two orders of magnitude.
