The Third Marine Task Force was preparing for battle. Munitions where loaded onto ships, the giant Union Class carriers (http://s9.invisionfree.com/SME/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=122467) as Frigates and Destroyers steamed into position to take up escort formation. The soldiers on board the Union class where nervous, but they knew they where fighting for freedom, and for Socialism. They often sang songs, patriotic and military. This can be seen as nothing else than a disgrace.. I am appalled at this atomic disaster, I am now safe in a nuclear bunker in the hills of Wallis. Aboard the USS George Orwell, F-16’s were accelerating, rising into the air in small five-plane groups, seventeen such groups exactly, carrying a pair of Maverick air-to-ground missiles each, tipped with Rush Limbaugh-series EMP missiles. I'm sorry, comrades. But, you have left us with no choice. Your attacks on Worker's State territory is a declaration of War. The planes attacking the southern portion of Willis could not be affected by the SAMs – they simply launched their EMP missiles at the shoreline cities and fled. Seconds later after the EMP’s hit, the other planes came in. A dozen or so were shot down, but the main body continued towards the south, firing off their missiles from 30-km range from their target cities, then fleeing. As they fled, they lost ten more – but the battle continued.

As Wallis and Futuna is now being occupied. And as the President has resigned, leaving the nation to the new occupants, it is necessary, and altogether right, that WyattLand forces withdraw from the nation. Hopefully, the new occupants will promote peace in the nation, no matter what type of government is installed there. We ask the government of Allanea to do the same.

The SAMs were virtually useless in our defence, Wallis is obliterated and any future defence will have to be carried out by allies. But never-the-less we must never give up.
We must attack Futuna in retialiation, the capitalists can not get away with crimes of this scale. The number dead totals 1-5 million! The socialist HQ at Ha'afusia has been destroyed. I remain hidden in my bunker in the central region of the island.

OOC: I had viewed the map. That's why the aircraft carriers were sent that I told W&F about. The ground troops were to remain on the carriers until any further orders were given. The carriers were deployed off the east coast, east of Mata'utu.

The governments of Futuna and Wallis would now like to announce the current situation in their countries:

1) Wallis:

50,000 troops from our country are stationed around the coast. After repeated nuclear attacks only 20,000 remain alive and under control of the Socialist Union of Wallis.
DeVlaamseLeeuw sent us economic and military aid.
Hogsweat have sent us troops via plane.
Hallad has sent us military aid and 500 paratroopers.
The Vuhifellian States has sent us Military aid.

Report: The country is still under control by Comrade Lorque, but he relies on Hallad and Hogsweat to keep order. The nation has suffered 2 nuclear attacks from Wyattland and 1 Air Raid from Allanea. Planned attacks on Futuna have been cancelled.

2) Futuna:

5,000 troops from our country are stationed in the capital Nuku.
Allanea has 2 carriers and support in the sea between Futuna and Wallis.

Report: Without foreign support on the land it is open to invasion by socialists. The president has left the country and resigned. The government is losing control.

In the early morning light, the light infantry of the 22nd Brigade jumped from their aircraft, parachutes unfolding, and landed on the island of Wallis. Managing to find the elusive Comrade Lorque's contact was hard but Major General Absala, and Colonel Al'Asfa of the 22nd managed to contact him via phone [thats okay, right?].. the phone in the bunker rang..

The Task Force arrived, and halted in it's waters outside of Wallis. Pilots were being briefed on how to hit the Allanean and Wyatt aircraft carriers should the need arise.

30,000 troops a carrier? How big are your carriers? How did you fire the Nuclear Missiles against Wallis and Futuna without my satellites detecting them and shooting them down. Well evidently it would contaminate the air, but meh, that's always been my policy to not let it hit the target. Every nation above 1 billion here has satellites in space, there's literally millions of them. You could probably jump to and fro to either. But still, obviously it doesn't have 100% accuracy.. more like 80% hit rate.

That's understandable, but it would render our weapons systems all-but-obsolete without ability to pinpoint an exact location to be able to combat them, or having the resources to pull off an anti-orbital operation. 80% of the time, our weapons will be shot down, and the other 20% may be shot down by other allied satellite systems.

OOC: Sounds cool to me that you have them. I'm only saying that WyattLand is not equipped for an anti-orbital operation to combat the satellite systems, and therefore, our offenses, are made mostly useless. It leaves us no choice but to withdraw.

We recommend that W&F be partitioned. Why would the Socialists try to assert control over the Futunans, who don’t want to be ruled by them. Let the Capitalist Coalition annex or control Futuna, and we will recognise your control of Wallis.

The capitalist government have collapsed, the people of Futuna do not want capitalism, it was simply imposed on them. They no longer have a spokesmen and they show no signs of re-organizing themselves. It is time for Wallis to step in and take control of them. We can either do this with force, obviously with help from our allies Hogsweat, Hallad, The Vuhifellian States and DeVlaamseLeeuw or by you giving in. You are no longer liberating them, you are just prolonging their agony. The socialists have won, surrender Futuna and the future for the islands will be bright and plentiful.

The Socialist Union of Wallis is preparing for an invasion of Wallis, we are buying a large navy, army and air force. We expect to meet resistance although we hope this will be limited by diplomatic activity.

After viewing the atrocities of nuclear attacks against Wallis, the Democratic Republic of Azuna would like to aid in the reconstruction, and even the invasion of Futuna if our assistance is needed.

As well as monetary aid, we would like to ship small arms, soldiers, and vehicles, as well as engineers to help in the reconstruction. Arms and monetary aid may be used in any way desired, but we would prefer if the soldiers were kept mainly as military police or used to aid the engineers, used only as invasion troops if absolutely necessary.

If our offer is accepted, we will send 12,000 XM8 Assault Rifles, 140 M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 120 M1A1 Abrams MBTs all for use as you see fit, as well as 2,500 Marines, and a number of 1,500 military engineers all under the control of Colonel Karl Filopiv. The equivalent of 100 billion dollars will be donated to aid the reconstruction and advancement of Wallis.

The Captain was bored. He had been sailing around in international waters for a couple of months now, and he and his crew had got nothing to do. Although the weather was very good, sunbathing on the deck had lost its attraction and so he was reduced to sitting at his computer terminal waiting for orders, a well-read slightly dog-eared paperback in his lap. His white Captain's hat was pulled down over his eyes and he was just dozing off in the warm sunlight.

The alert sounded again, louder this time. He brushed his hat off his face, shook his head a little to wake himself up, accidentally knocking his book onto the floor and losing the page, and looked at the screen. The tone sounded again.
"I heard you the first time, you little bastard."
He clicked to discover what this supposedly important message was.

Proceed immediately to Wallis and Futuna, 50km West-North-West. Possible combat situation. Mutual Protection Pact summons by Hallad. NBC gear necessary.

It was from Maritime Command. He immediately gave his orders to the captains of the other ships, and then the crew.


The Silverspray turned in the water, heading for Wallis and Futuna. It was followed by two other ships of its kind, Lionfish Cruisers, and a pocket carrier. They were escorted by a small collection of destroyers and frigates. The sun shone brightly on their hulls as they prepared for combat.

Currently the invasion of Futuna by Wallis, Hogsweat, Hallad etc. is under planning. The only nation actively stopping it is Alannea.
