The Government of Dosn is providing this unique oppurtunity to form a coalition of publishing nations.

Is publishing your main industry? Do you have an excess of literature and need to export it to pay for import orders? Do you find it hard to export at a profitable rate?

If so, the CPN (coalition of publishing nations) is for you.
If you're interested join by indicating that you want to here.

The first five members will be able to write a draft constitution for the CPN. A synopsis of it will be that member states will co-operate in order to export books to literature desert natuions at profitable rates.

Join and make your millions.

How can this offer be further embelished?
Well ask your price and I'll pay it for you to join, if I can...

To be fair, I don't think II or NS has ever seen a Publishing Alliance. So people might be wary of something so very new.

Zamyat has interests in disseminating large volumes of text - the potential value of such an alliance is enough payment for our cooperation.

Great!
What kind of literature do you deal in? Fiction/non-fiction?
WHat is your ideal market.

Dosn produces far too many journals on political science that generally sell 50,000 copies for 0.1 grams of gold.

Everything has to have a first time!
Besides we'll have a monopoly!

Our Literary Manufacturers are primarily devoted to the production of a poetic religio-political tome, Archus Axioms, however, a few have been tooled up to produce some pretty basic fiction. Our novel-writing machines can be set up in a few hours to cater to any genre.

Current Administrative Council directives are largely aimed at producing ideological texts or novels with underlying themes favoring Zamyatin ideology.

Most of our manufacturing capability is more suited to poetry, and there are approximately three dozen anthologies of Zamyatin poetry, perfectly metered and exquisitely rhymed - if perhaps limited in focus.

This alliance sounds quite interesting. My people are always looking for new books.
Perhaps we could arrange a trade treaty of some sort?

The Siap Tribune Media Services is interested in your offer. While we are currently focusing on information technology, we are still the largest book publishers in Siap. As an extension of our gratitude, we invite all nations involved in this to open publishing houses in Siap. The Republic of Siap can offer protective tariffs on books manufactured here (or by any member of this treaty) and it has a convict-lease system that allows laborers to be employed for a fraction of the cost. We look forward to continuing business with you!

I think that we have enough support to start negociations for a treaty.

Clause 1: All members will pay a subscription fee of 0.1% of profits amassesed to cover admin.

etc. etc.
Feel free to continue

Our target nations to export to should be those with poor political and ciil rights, as these are usually the one that lack a publishing market.
I'm nt sure how we'll arrange it, though. Surely the governments in those nations will forbid our imports? I suppose we'll have to have covert opperations.

I can exclusively reveal that the Anarchy of Roobeela has signed a trading agreememnt with me of 1 million pages of science fiction per year in return for caravans carrying oranges and grapefruits (rareties in Dosn). They're screaming out for non-fiction, I'm sure you'll find their rates vert competitive

The Siapian government urges members of this treaty to consider opening publishing houses in Siap, as we spend an obscenely high mount of money on education, and we have successfully re-instated the convict-lease program. All books made in Siap will be protected by local tariffs.

Alas, it appears the publishing industry in Dosn has collapsed completely due to draconian new laws that have left only 14 year old lemonade distillers in the private sector. What can I say? I suppose I must resign from this treaty, unless those laws are quickly repealed...
