OOC: A little help?
Well, it seems that I have a bit of writers block and I cannot think of a role play idea that I would like to use. Therefore, I figured why not ask the (mostly) good people of this board what they would like to see me do.
Keep in mind however, I do not have relations with any nation oustide the IADF, and even those are somewhat weak, so any war ideas would need to be fully thought out because without a reason it would be about pointless. Personally Id like to stick with character rps, or some sort of non-agressive rp as they are what I am best at.

Well, you could try for a manned lunar mission. Which I'm going to be doing once I finalize my spacecraft design and landing location.
Hmmm, that would be an idea. Dont know a whole lot about space or rockets or any of that stuff, but i guess if nothing else I could rp the beggining of my space program.

you seem like a competent RPer, so it'd be fun starting something up... but as for me having ideas... well that's another story... i'm too tired to be "creative" right now... but if you need people outside of the iadf, the Commonwealth of Azazia is found in the Pacific... a british-styled commercial empire

You could always RP a civil war or revolution, or you can start exterminating your racial minorities, that would get you noticed. :P

My racial minority is actually in power right now, so id have to do the whole kill the majority thing. And Im not really looking to get noticed in that way. Although I may make a brief rebellion or something along those lines.
Theao: My nation is a centralized monarchy so no elections. But keep trying, your ideas arent all that bad.
You could do an assassination attempt or what happened when/if there are no secessors to the throne
Well, read the "Rebirth of a nation" thread and you will see that my leader just recently fulfilled a prophecy by returning to the living world to rule Nascent until armegeadon.
But an attempted coup is never out of the question.

Survival RP. Damn fun, one of the best RPs I've ever been in.
How about this:
Another calm morning in your capital. The crisp, cool air blows through the skyscrapers and calms the land, the people, and prepairs them all for a brand new day. The sun pokes its top up over the horizon, shedding the pureness of day's first light acrossed the land for all to see. Indeed, it was turning out to be a beautiful day.
BAM! CRASH! The earth beneath the city errupted in insane rattling, throwing about those on the surface wildly and sending everything flying. Cars begin to roll as the earth rises and falls, and finally splits in two making massive rifts acrossed the city. Buildings are split in two and topple down into the endless void, the people in them screaming their final breaths. On the horizon, the observant people can barely see a fifty-foot-tall wall of water approaching the city over the quaking land.
Joe Somebody's car was lodged in traffic. Quite literally, the initial quake had thrown his car off the raised freeway and directly into the top of a passing tour bus. The bus, now over on its side, had Joe's car pinned in it like some bizarre mating ritual between the two machines. Joe didn't see the wall of water, he was too busy worrying if his insurance would cover the damages.
The tidal wave slammed into the side of the two automobiles, throwing them along with the current into the side of a ruined building. Joe screamed as his car flipped over 5... 6... 7 times before finally dislodging itself from the bus and crashing into the forth floor of a now-submerged hotel. Gasping for breath, Joe kicked open the door of his car and swam for the stairwell. Wrenching open the door, he swam up ten feet before reaching the surface, gasping for air.
Joe pulled himself on to the steps, and collapsed. Drenched to the bone and completely out of breath, he passed out.
When Joe woke up, the first thought that rang through his head was to "climb the stairs". And so he did, rapidly assending until he reached the 20th floor, the roof. Bursting out through the door, he found himself in a crowd of hotel patrons that had survived the wave. Adults were confused and shocked, children were crying. The city lay in ruins.
Joe looked over the edge. The once eligant streets of your capital were now deep canals of briney salt water, flowing chaoticly between the towering skyscrapers. Some of the rifts in the earth were high enough not to be covered in water, while others were simply massive waterfalls to the earth's core. Joe's only thought upon looking across this new wasteland was of his wife, and how he had to get to her, to protect her.
How's that? He can meet foreign people vacationing there along the way, or even meet government officials that end up knowing about some project that backfired and created this massive quake, then having to try and kill Joe for knowing too much. Simply epic.
How about a joint-expeditionary force setting out to explore an unknown area mythically rumored to have a Lost City, or something like that? It could turn into a battle/war against a previously unknown civilization.
Interesting idea. I think I have an idea on what I am going to do, but just in case I change my mind, keep those ideas coming.

why not do one where the deposed king had a child who wants the throne/revenge.
Well, the rough sketh of what Im thinking of is that the majority of the population (those with more European blood than native Nascentian blood) attempt to stage a coup after they uncover a text which tells of how to send Cacifica (main character/ruler of Nascent) back to the grave for eternity. With the text being uncovered when a semi large earth quake reveals a small temple in the woods of the island.
But that is just one idea. I may make something completely different from that.

That sounds like a good idea, but perhaps you could make it like a corrupt Minister attempting to work his way into power through the government. Kinda like using the system against itself with his influence over the people or w/e. Idk, for like a more realistic approach i guess. But its up to you, its your RP after all.
