Hello,

TehInterwebGame's selling lots of surplus weapons for cheap.


The Power Cell minimum power rating is measured in Wootage (woot) All power cells included unless specified otherwise.

The output is measured in Boomage (b):

1b - Very weak, takes dozens of shots to incapacitate or kill opponent.

2b - Pretty Weak, takes 3-5 shots to incapacitate, 6-7 to kill.

3b - Weak, takes 2-3 shots to incapacitate, 4-5 to kill.

4b - Medium-Weak: takes 1-2 shots to incapacitate, 2-3 to kill.

5b - Medium: Will incapacitate in one shot, may take two to kill

6b - Medium-Strong: Incapacitation is risky, one shot usually kills, can blast through lead

7b - Strong - Should not be used for incapacitation (7b and up), can blast through duracrete, light armor

8b - Pretty Strong - Can blast through heavy personal armor, light armor on vehicles

9b- Very Strong - Can destroy vehicles with heavy armor, buildings.

10b - Ultimate - Can punch through starship hulls.

DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol: Small pistol, but can punch a hole through a piece of duracrete. Discrete and flexible for add-ons.

Heavy Repeater: Automatic weapon fires balls of energy. Very powerful.

FULLY automatic- at least 5 shots per second.

Golan Arms FC-1 Flechette Weapon: Fires dozens of pieces of hot metal.

Low 8B- will definitely kill humans but unlikely through light armor on a vehicle

mine attachment: throws two mines in front, detonate after 5 seconds if doesn't hit a human. $1000 extra, 9B,)

Military Grade PLX-20 missile launcher: packs a huge punch. recoil is large, but includes a lock-on system that consumes more energy.

Wootage: 100W (for missile firing), separate 500W power pack needed for lock-on (not included)

Here's an example of a couple of weapons I bought for my forces.

MFP-330c Microfusion Carbine

Cost Per Unit: $25'000 USD

Overall Length: 76cm
Mass: 4.7 kg

Powerplant: Self-Cleaning MK 57 Infinitum-Series Air-Fed Micro-Fusion Reactor

Output(max): 7.5 megawatts
Output(average): 6.94 Megawatts

Battery System: Type XI-C MilSpec Voltsink Capacitor Bank
Total Storage: 180 Megajoules
Prefire Capacitor: 25 Megajoules

Ammunition:
Standard: Air, or anything lighter than iron that'll get through the intakes - heavier elements result in reduced power output
Reserve: Removable semi-solid fuel clip with approximately 750 Megajoules worth of reactor mass, for use in vacuum.

Firing Modes:
Plasma w/ Photonic-Assist: Pulsed Plasma Beam for use against lightly armored and soft targets; optional atmospheric tunneling laser assist for boosted range, but results in increased power drain.

Variable FE Laser: Variable frequency/pulse-duration/focus/intensity free-electron laser, for use against armor, for 'sniping', or utility(i.e. cutting, etc.).

UV Taser: UV frequency laser ionizes the air, creating a conductive path and facilitating Taser functions. Non-lethal or lethal modes.

Frame: Rugged NE-Silver and SAPL solid-state construction - exceedingly low-maintenance and high reliability, as well as able to shrug off stupid amounts of abuse. Materials cannot chemically react, and so corrosion is effectively impossible.
Just a little technical clarification. By heavier elements reducing reactor output, I meant in general, not heavier than iron.

Fusion stops generating an energy surplus once you reach iron, so it or anything heavier is basically useless for fueling the reactor. If there's enough of it getting into the reactor, it'll choke out unless it bleeds reactant from the fuel clip to maintain a positive energy flow(fortunately, this is extremely unlikely, and compensation can be set to occur automatically).

Average output is for your typical atmosphere.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the Universal Power Adapter, allowing the weapon to double as a general power supply.

APR-39 "Incinerator" Plasma Assault Rifle
Cost: $20,000 per unit
Dimensions: 70cm:20cm:8cm
Weight: 3kg w/o heavy reactor unit (5kg)
Reactor: 5Mw Light Reactor unit (can also tap into suit power and vice versa.)
HRU Reactor: 15Mw Fusion Reactor
Ammunition: Hypercompressed Hydrogen Clips (100 rounds or 40 sec). Can accept atmospheric gases in an emergency.
Capacity: Reg. Reactor stores 50 regular ball fire shots. Heavy Reactor stores 200 shots or 1 min 20 sec of FlameThrower mode

Firing Modes:

Plasmathrower [Note: Only available with heavy reactor unit]
Ejects a stream of superheated plasma from the barrel of the gun. Uses huge amounts of fuel but can cause massive amounts of damage to even targets strengthened against plasma attacks. Fires up to approximately 30m.

Ball Plasma
Ejects a heavily compressed ball of superheated gas at high speeds in a straight line. Fires up to approximately 800m. Takes around 10 seconds to fire, as it charges.

Burst Plasma
Fires 3 medium sized plasma balls in rapid succession at an enemy, at medium range. Not as powerful as Ball plasma, as it is not as compressed. Fires up to approximately 400m. Fires instantly. Can be fired singly as well.

Plasma Beam
A medium ranged concentrated plasma stream. Causes damage to a single spot. Uses approximately 10 shots worth for 1 second of continuous energy. Most powerful fire mode, and fires 600m. Charges for 12-15 seconds depending on state of gun.
