OOC - Completely open to any and all ideas on the subject. I definitely want some space combat, and negotiations, naturally not with the Zerg. But I really hope for some in depth drama as apposed to a strict shoot'em up.

Rules
- No godmoding obviously
- Feel free to go nuts with any ship classes or weapons possessed by any protoss or terran ships, I plan to add a few sub-species of Zerg myself.
- Please think factions people, I claim the position of Overmind, and I definitely need some Cerebrates to back me up, feel free to write yourself in, something I think that could be really fun to RP would be a Dark Templar Spec. Ops Squad. Be they loyal to the Executor's or not.
- Go as in depth as you want, I don't mind a long/interesting read

Naturally now that I've come up with a good idea, I have class... so the first post will not be as in depth as it should, sry. Definitely be back on tonight.

FIRUX System

FIRUX I - basically a mountainous inferno.

A new domain to harvest. Through the gravatic scans of its Overlord's, the void beyond this sphere's atmosphere had long been beckoning the Overmind of the Zerg. Finally, the hatchling Overlord had landed on the second planet of the system. The newly birthed Cerebrates mind was being coaxed from its shell. Encouraged to explore, to send it's minion's (one drone, 12 lings, 4 hydralisks) out into this lush jungle planet. Through it's Cerebrates senses, the Overmind detected the presence of thousands of new species. Every second the cerebrates developing awareness showed the OM the gravatic signatures of biological wonders. From the avian and mammal, down to the microscopic, the OM began to hunger. Hunger for the genetics, hunger for the knowledge.

After all, there were other spheres around the light, and other lights beyond the void. Suddenly something else was exibiting gravity. Something out beyond farthest sphere, in all it's thousands of years of conciousness, it had never had the oppurtunity to do this, one of the new (immature) space-faring Overlords was tasked to investigate.

That was a cheese post, I apologize again. Time to go though..

Here we go...

IC: It had been a very long time since humans and orcs battled for the world they shared, and for that long time humans had been extinct. For five millenia, the Horde ruled the land; breeding, expanding, and evolving.

Over the long years, wars and legends of the past faded into myth, and were eventually forgoten.

Now, in a far different world then where the Dark Tides flowed and where the Frozen Throne was contested, the Horde was in a panic...

It was dreary and rainining in Oldak City, but the crowd didn't notice. They huddled outside, choking the streets with their large bodies, blocking ground traffic for miles. On the screen far above the leering crowd was a screen showing the Leader, Grotek Sluum, giving a grave public address.

"...the movement of these creatures off-planet is considered a threat to the well being of the Horde and our planet. Based on covert satalite research, these beings are a singleminded, world devouring entities that may be controled by a hive mind. The Horde Department of Defence will respond immediately with an investigative probe..."

As the crowd on the streets of Oldak continued to gawk at their leader and footage of the strange aliens from the satalites, a small and silent AI piloted Wraith shot across the blackness to a system nearby....
