This in itself isn't really an international incident, but it relates to one, so forgive me.
I am looking for people who play as the UK or claim the British isles or part there of as part of their empire or whatever else.
Skildir is a reference to the St.Kilda archipelago far off western Scotland, sixty-odd kilometres beyond the Outer Hebridies. The tiny main island was inhabited probably from the middle ages until it was evacuated around 1930, the unique community having been ruined by meddling missionaries form the mainland, and there has been no permanent habitation since. Tourists, environmentalists and the like continue to visit, and there was a British military base used in observing missile tests or something of that sort, more recently taken-over by civilian contractors.
Anyway, here we break-off from the real world as a group of idealist utopians hijacked a run-down foreign cruise liner (also yet unclaimed by any nation state!) that was visiting the islands, and -in highly unprofessional and clumsy fashion- stormed the islands and kicked everybody off aboard the liner, now damaged by putting in with a drunk captain in rough seas.
Warships from Cherry Ridge have unexpectedly shown-up and taken an interest of sorts, firing on the islands and possibly hoping to take them for their own ends. Utopians -numbering around 200 to begin with- have begun to die, and as yet the British are unrepresented.
Obviously, I need someone in the short term to react on behalf of Britain or whoever controls it, both to the utopian demands to sovereignty over the abandoned isles and to the presence of CR's warships in British waters... then I could really do with a British neighbour long term, and they'd be free to seek reconciliation with the islanders or to spend eternity tourmenting them, either way :)
