"Fellow friends and allies, nations of the civilized world, my fellow Credonians, I come before you today to renew a pledge that Credonia made many years ago. Credonia, the father of the first war on terror (Started about a year and a half ago), remains vehemently opposed to all acts of terrorism, violence, and otherwise destructive means of bringing about political change within a nation. We have fought to rid this world of all those who feel the need to destroy innocent lives to attain progress towards their wicked cause, whatever it may be. We have shed blood to ensure that the prople of the world are safe. We have given a president and his family's life as proof of our relentless efforts to want to bring about peace around the world. Today, I come before you to renew that pledge. To once again stand tall and take the lead in a new, renewed war on terror, however, Credonia cannot do it alone. We need the help of the international community in order for us to root out all terrorists, to destroy terrorist networks and terrorist cells that my lie within our nations. We need to unite, band together, and collaborate our efforts to keep our people safe from those who which to murder our people, innocent people who do not deserve to die. I come before you all today to join Credonia in an anti-terrorism alliance that will thrust the terrorists who plague our nations today into a state of defense. Credonia has already begun assisting nations who have been attacked by terrorists (WyattLand), however, once a definite target is marked and an plan of attack is developed, we can begin the "crusade" anytime. (OOC: Can you tg me that information?)

The nation os Anarcanis supports this measure and will commit it's 1st Urban Rangers "The Alley Cats" and 2nd Urban Rangers "The Sewer Rats" special-ops units to Credonia's efforts,as well as Barracuda combat patrol boats should they be needed.

Warhammer Syndicate pledges support of Credonia's war on terror. Although military support may be a little hard to come by now since we are in a transitional state of government (going towards more of a free market economy).

I would like to perhaps send a few representatives to Credonia to act as ambassadors (or prehaps exhange). The transition is almost complete, after everything is hammered out I will be able to assist in every manor. Due to the concerns of a number of nations who have voiced hesitant support for our cause due to certain nations who have "questionable" backgrounds, Credonia will be researching all nations who give us their support and a list of nations who have been accepted into the coaltion will be posted.

At this time, no nation has been officially admitted into the coaltion/alliance with the exception of Stevid.

Would the nation claim to be terroristic? would "holy war" count? How would you distinguish between terrorism, guerilla warfare, religious warfare, etc.?

Until this is better clarified, our nation cannot support your crusade. We are more likely to oppose you, on principle, by defending any sovereign nation you choose to invade.

I consider terrorist states to be any that use tactics of terror to further their own goals. So, yes, in my opinion (not sure about the others), Jihadi states and some guerilla groups are terrorist states.

The exact definition of the words terrorism and terrorists shall be defined by the alliance so that there are no disputes over how exactly terror and terrorism should be defined between two of more different nations within the coalition/alliance.

Credonia generalizes acts of terror as a destructive and life-taking means of achieving political, economic, or military gain by a person or group of people holding the same views and beliefs, through the use of destructive acts against the civilian populus within a nation with the purpose of inciting fear within the people to bring about change favorable to their cause.

As we have stated before we do not wish to aquire military action unless absolutely necessary. But, with a small majority of the votes, the Parliament has agreed on having Thal_Ixu join the CAP. If nothing else we will at least try to ensure, that all actions taken are within the rules and regulations set up by international laws.
