Burnsian economic officials brought out the day with a bang with over four hundred drug raids, each totaling to about eight thousand pounds of illegal drugs. This marks the new stance of the formal 'Act Nine' anti-drug act, passed by the Congress yesterday. Police took dealers and enforcers outside to swiftly deal justice (http://www.amnesty.org/images/resources/vietnam/vietnam_deathpenalty_aug03.jpg) and reprimand them for their ways. In addition, 'Act Nine' authorizes official 'drug patrols' which comb the streets for inexcusable drug use and behavior. Public outcry against the new law has been widespread, protesters marching down the streets (http://stopthedrugwar.org/chronicle/332/promena.jpg) of Highfather towards the capitol.
