I, the King of Arabislam, would like to start an alliance of nations that support, fund, or train terrorists. The allance still needs a name, so any thoughts are appreciated. Come together, Islamic nations, and defend one another against the infidels! An-Kharu is my terrorist organization who has already won a war for me against The Republic of Emassiue. You do realize that not all terrorists are Islamic, right? Theres the Ukrainians, the Irish, neo nazis, etc.

Allow me to break this down for you nice and simple. Terrorist organizations have very different agendas, many of which conflict directly with one another. Take the Irish Republican Army and, say, the ever-popular Al Queda. The IRA is against one sect of Christianity, while Al Queda is against everyone who isn't their sect of Islam, namely some Arabs and all Americans (because we're a superpower). Do Al Queda and the IRA like each other because they both use terrorist tactics? Fuck no. They'd hate each other, if they even were a threat to each other. Creating an alliance for nations that use terrorist tactics is like me creating an alliance for nations that attempt to use the basic out-flanking manuver in war. They're both tried and tested sets of tactics that work in their respective situations, but they're nothing to form an alliance around because tactics have almost nothing to do with the character and ethics of a nation.))

((OOC: I assumed so too, but the alliance's "name" doesn't really lend to that assumption. He also needs to know that there are distinct sects of Islam, like Shi'ites and Sunnis that don't get along with each other. That's the principle reason that Iraq and Iran didn't get along with Al Queda.))

Emperor Amaar, though a christian, believes some sort of pact could be made. If you were to start terroisim in Tocrowkia, we could assit you in any way possible, with weapons, supplies, anything you would need for future targets.

Henry Johnson frowned as he read over the reports coming our of the Signals Room. He grabbed a couple of papers, and took one last sip of coffee before getting up to head to his superior's office.

Once he got there, he knocked on the door. "Come in," was the response.

"Sir, I thought you might want to look at this." Johnson handed the report to the man behind the desk. "Some Muslim kingdom has announced that they want to start up a terrorist alliance. Some semantic issues, but I think it's the basic 'Bring Down the Infidels' bit."

"Right. I'll put a call into the Director. I'm sure he'll want to get some agents in-country, and talk to the king."

"Do you think this will mess up Project GREEN LIGHT?" Johnson asked, inquiring about the Foreign Ministry's efforts at improving relations with Muslim countries.

"I guess it could. But it's better that we know right off than let them establish some kind of network in the country, I suppose."

General Maurice Okonkwo read the message and grimaced. Although he would love to have a cadre of specially trained bodyguards and black-ops people, he could not have them siding with the Muslim missionaries in the rural areas. He would want the training without the indoctrination. He threw the message into the wastebasket and ignored it.

Alexonium would like to take care of the money laundering and such ^_^

((OOC: But you see, that's the problem with attacking a terrorist nation. They're usually a non-centralized system of semi-autonomous cells that function under one banner for a common purpose. They have no "capitol" they have no "cities", they just have cells.))

OOC: So TEOO is going to do the great thing of attacking n00bs... my aren't you scary... :rolleyes:

I'd also echo, Resi here. Attacking a Terrorist group is a little hard as the US is finding with the various one's you can place under the vague umbrella of a Al Quaeda. Basically you can have a load of spec op RPs but you won't get much else... heh.

We'll just track them down and kill them. The GLA was based out of Kazakhstan. And I'm just giving them a heads-up just in case. Those terrorists can be tricky.

I usually let my spokesman handle official responses from me, but this time, I'd prefer to speak personally.

It is the official position of the Empire of Xeraph that any who call themselves terrorists are 1) not permitted access to any portion of the Empire, for any reason. 2) that any terrorist nation who attacks any ally of Xeraph will be punished to an extreme measure. 3) that any terrorist group who claims not to have a homeland will either be IGNORED, or the nations harboring them will be attacked and destroyed.
It is unfortunate that there are enough terrorist entities in existence now that they can form an official alliance. It is my intention to form an alliance of anti-terrorist nations to off-set these cowards. These anti-terror nations will be a select few, invitation-only force able to quickly and decisively deal with terrorists. More info will be forthcoming shortly.
