1.All technology must have already been existant for your nation if you wish to use it in the role play. It is to say, you cannot equip yourself with self invented weaponry. If you wish to aquire the ordnance of another nation must be able to do so in character through martial or diplomatic means - not through out of character convention. Any failure to do so will result in a penalty, most likely an ignore until you are able to comply with this regulation.

2.Your population is based of real life 1912-1918 populations, not NationStates populations, and thus you will role play with these populations. Resources you use must be real life resources and to aquire other resources you must do so in charactar, through martial or diplomatic channels.

3.You may not conquer nations unless there is a player occupying them. Non-player nations are to be left open for new players. Aircraft may fly over them, shipping can use their waters, but ground forces cannot transit said nation.

4Selling or giving away territory has consequences. It will cost at the minimum, tens of billions, most likely in the hundreds of millions. See, people have emotions. They aren't mindless drones, and they have thoughts. And they're going to go nuts when they get sold or occupied by another nation. There will be fighting, and terrorist groups, and separatists, and a whole other load of wonderful things people do when they're betrayed by their governments.

5.No declaring the actions of the enemy. You only control your men, not theirs. You should post movement, then attack, and let them tell what their people do.

6.No ignoring. Ignoring leads to rather bad RPing, and to lost role plays, meaning that this game will be full of ignore fests and will die in an augmenting fashion. Nations which attempt to ignore will be told by the moderators of the game that ignoring is an established illegality, and will be forced to RP on. Failure to listen to the mods will result in increasing the warning rate by 5%.

7.There is no flaming allowed. Flaming also results in horrible RPing, and ruins the world war experience. Flaming includes cussing out other players, increasingly whining, posting just OOC messages, and the such. I think we all have a pretty clear idea of what flaming is. OOC and IC in the same post is ok, and OOC for good reasons, such as explinations is perfect. Should a nation flame they rist having their warning rate augmented at a rate of 10% per flame, by the moderators.

8.Should your warning rate reach to 100%, for the first time, your account will be suspended for five days. Should you hit 100%, for the second time, your account will be deleted, and you will be banned from World at War. Should you directly insult the moderators or the administrators you will be directly banned and deleted. Should you make personal insults about race or religion you will also automatically hit 100%.

9.Signatures are to remain banner types. ONLY 400 x 100 signatures. Anything else will be deleted, and a "sig police" banner will replace it.

Ireland was not a nation, but you can RP as a rebellious group. Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Norway really didn't have roles during the historical First World War but you can Role Play them so they do... the list is just a list of fully independent nations.

It would be as the name implies..if you were to choose Ireland you would act as a rebellious Irish faction. How you carry out that rebellion would be up to you - you can meet Great Britain in a broad front fashion, as a guerilla army, terrorism, whatever you would like.

Yea, it was scheduled for wenesday, but people jumped right to it and started so I started the game before I had originally planned to.

I was doing some research, and found that Afghanistan wasn't independent until 1919. So does that mean if I were to play as Afghanistan, I'd be a colony of Britain?

Hmm,I didn't know that... I (OOCly and then ICly) would grant you independence..I really have no need for the Hindu Kush hehe..and plus Afghanistan would be a nice ally to have in the Middle East!

I have just posted about my Emperor's death. Meiji did die in 1912, but Yosihito was very sick throughout his life. I could have him die young and have Hirohito start out when he is still a teen.

Germany is offering the Danes a risk free way to end the war. If Russia does goto war with us...it'll be a big war.

The Axis was WWII. Central Powers were WWI. And so far no alliances with those names have been formed. So the Imperialist British are coming to the aid of an Agressor. As Both German Wars were in defense. OOCly rogue agents blew up the German Merchant ship after France and Denmark were warned not too. Germany thought it wa the danes since the government did not know about the agents. So germany is the defender defending against a bunch of Agressors. So far only Russia and Denmark but OOCly britain has plans to BREAK our 10 YEAR NAP

Hopefully it also sway Europe back to peace so we can develope the story line a bit more..if not then we'll have to deal a small victory for us and "persuade" Europe back to peace..and if not, we'll have a six year war.

the Chances of Britain winning a war against France, Italy, Germany, Austria-Hungary and Japan are slim. Although i've offered the Russians peace. Hopefully this will bring back peace. Now only if Britain and France were as cordial as Germany and Russia. Well technically hopefully Russia.

That is a lot of money that Russia is demanding. Given that they started the war. It would be interesting, since 1912 is an election year, that Theodore Rooslevelt gets elected.
